CP Rewritten: New Languages to Launch Next Year
At the start of this year, the Club Penguin Rewritten team unveiled plans for servers in Spanish and Portuguese to be added in the future. Since then, not much has been revealed about those plans, although there has been a lot of work behind-the-scenes to ensure that various aspects of the games are constantly being translated.
However, the team have now revealed some new information, confirming that the game will be “branching out” in terms of new languages from next year.
In 2022, we will be branching out in [terms of new] languages.

Given the announcement at the start of the year, it’s quite likely that these will start with Spanish or Portuguese first, but the specifics haven’t been confirmed yet. It’s also not yet known how soon in the New Year these will be released, but it definitely shows that the team haven’t abandoned the ambition for servers in different languages!

Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!
Waddle on!

Lieky a supply and demand situation. Portogues and Spanish are big languages but dutch has less speakers than my state

Yes, I’m afraid that you’re right – languages tend to be based on popularity, especially as many resources need to be dedicated to adding servers in new languages.

Its 31st Dec, and I clearly remember last year’s. With Flash, it had been wonderful, and my favorite thing in CPR was definitely puffles. Hopefully, 2022 brings puffles back. Here’s to hoping !

I think it’s a perfectly reasonable hope that puffles will return within the next year! Happy New Year!
