CP Rewritten: New Languages to Launch Next Year
At the start of this year, the Club Penguin Rewritten team unveiled plans for servers in Spanish and Portuguese to be added in the future. Since then, not much has been revealed about those plans, although there has been a lot of work behind-the-scenes to ensure that various aspects of the games are constantly being translated.
However, the team have now revealed some new information, confirming that the game will be “branching out” in terms of new languages from next year.
In 2022, we will be branching out in [terms of new] languages.
-stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administratorGiven the announcement at the start of the year, it’s quite likely that these will start with Spanish or Portuguese first, but the specifics haven’t been confirmed yet. It’s also not yet known how soon in the New Year these will be released, but it definitely shows that the team haven’t abandoned the ambition for servers in different languages!

CP Rewritten: Christmas Mystery Gifts Unveiled
Merry Christmas to all those who celebrate! I just wanted to remind those who have forgotten that a couple of mystery gifts have become available today. The first one is the Snow Globe Igloo, which can be found (for free!) a couple of pages in within the Furniture Catalog.
The second set of items relate to the Advent Calendar in the Forest. All of these items are now available, so even if you haven’t been collecting them each day so far, it’s worth going back to pick up all the items. The last one for today is even a new colour named Arctic Pink! Lastly, the next Community Goal available from the Coins of Change interface has been unlocked, so you can pick up 5000 coins from there.
I hope that you all have a wonderful day!

CP Rewritten: Holiday Cookies Pin
There’s been a lot of murmurings about the Holiday Cookies Pin lately, so I thought it would be helpful to make a quick post clarifying how this can be obtained. There isn’t a notice informing you that you’ve received it, but you’ll automatically collect it by transforming into either a Frostbite, Reindeer Puffle or Race Car.
For those unaware how to do that, you basically just need to go to Santa’s Workshop from the Mine Shack and waddle to the jar at the bottom left of the room, but you can also find a full guide here.
This is one of three pins which can be obtained at the moment, with the first being the Coins for Change 2021 Pin (obtainable by donating any amount of coins) and the second being the Gingerbread Man Pin at the Pizza Parlor. I hope that this clears up some confusion which has been lurking!

CP Rewritten: Rockhopper’s Holiday Visits Begin
Rockhopper has begun visiting for this year’s Holiday Party on Club Penguin Rewritten! Although this isn’t a surprise, I just wanted to share that his background for this event is Rockhopper’s Christmas Giveaway, which was previously available in 2017 and 2018.
Playercard:
Background:
Before this party, Rockhopper had only made nine visits with this background, so it’s quite an exclusive one – it’s also one of my favourite backgrounds! For the best chance of meeting him, I’d recommend checking the Rockhopper Tracker as that will contain all the latest information.
Good luck meeting him!

CP Rewritten: Aunt Arctic Possibly Visiting for Holiday Party
Although Rockhopper is confirmed to visit for the Holiday Party, it’s not yet known if any other mascots could be appearing. However, last night, the Club Penguin Rewritten team indicated that Aunt Arctic could also visit for the event.
Q: Can Aunt Arctic make a visit for the party?
Answer by stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administrator
A: Yes, could do – we’ll need to see. We need Rockhopper first. This wouldn’t be the first Holiday Party that Aunt Arctic would make an appearance at, as she did in 2019 with a festive background, so it’s definitely possible to see her visit the island again this year.
Aunt Arctic visits the Holiday Party 2019 As soon as anything more definitive is confirmed, I’ll be sure to let you know! However, it may be worth keeping your eyes peeled on the Aunt Arctic Tracker. Don’t forget that Rockhopper will definitely be visiting for this event though!

CP Rewritten: Feature “Similar to Spotify Wrapped” for New Year’s
A rather interesting feature was hinted by the Club Penguin Rewritten last night, which the team are saying will be released for the New Year. There haven’t given many details, but from what’s been stated, it seems like it will be an overview of statistics held about your penguin over the last year.
We do have something cool planned for your individual player for the New Year – it’s similar to Spotify Wrapped.
-stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administratorFor those unfamiliar with Spotify Wrapped, it’s basically an annual summary of your habits in listening to music and audio over the last year. For example, it informs you how many minutes of music you’ve listened to over the last year. To give a better demonstration, here’s mine from this year.
It’s possible that Club Penguin Rewritten could do something similar with their data and analytics, but it’s really not known what this could involve. It really does sound like an interesting feature though, and there’s not too long until New Year’s Day, so I felt it was worth sharing!

CP Rewritten: Mysterious Pirate Crabs Approach Island
If you look through the telescope at the Beacon, you’ll notice something new which has emerged as of the most recent update! A ship similar to the Migrator appears to be approaching the island, but instead of it being Rockhopper, it’s been taken over by pirate crabs!
They appear to be sailing towards the island, but the reason is still a mystery.
In case you’re curious about the possible stories which could emerge from this, on classic Club Penguin, these pirate crabs were responsible for invading the island and attempting to steal Rockhopper’s treasure, which led to penguins battling them in the Pirate Party 2014. There’s no guarantee that the plot with these crabs will be the same, especially since that involved taking over the Migrator whereas it’s already docked now, but it could give some indication that these crabs probably aren’t here for good!
As soon as more is revealed about these crabs, I’ll be sure to let you know! Thank you very much for reading!

CP Rewritten: Holiday Party Catalog Released
A couple more items themed around the Holiday Party have been released, with the party catalog now available to explore! If you waddle into the Gift Shop, you’ll find an icon at the bottom right of your screen which you can click to view the catalog.
Although there’s only one page, there are eight main items within this catalog alongside six hidden ones which you can purchase. These secrets can all be seen below!
It’s worth noting that the second item of the Community Goals, accessible from the Coins of Change screen, can also be collected now, and the Advent Calendar is continuing to offer gifts at the Forest, so there really is no shortage of festive items!

CP Rewritten: Gingerbread Man Pin Location
A new pin has been hidden on Club Penguin Rewritten! You can find this pin at the bottom left of the Pizza Parlor. It’s located within the oven, and the pin is called Gingerbread Man.
To obtain this pin, click it and then click “Yes”. It will be then be added to your inventory so that you can wear it as well as your stampbook! If someone is blocking it, I would suggest going on an emptier server to obtain it.

CP Rewritten: Card-Jitsu Release Estimate Pushed to Late 2022
For the majority of this year, there has been much anticipation about Card Jitsu returning, with the team previously saying that it would “probably” be released by the end of 2021. It seems clear that won’t be happening now, but the team set a new estimate last night, stating that it will “probably” take until late 2022 to develop.
For Card-Jitsu, it could take probably until late 2022. Puffles [will be] same year; that is majority of the big content from our Flash version.
-stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administratorThere’s been some sneak peeks indicating that Card Jitsu has been under development over the last year, notably one in June, but it’s still not known to what extent progress has been made. It’s also worth noting that the game being completed by the end of next year is simply an estimate.
It’d be nice to see Card Jitsu return though, and I know many people are awaiting it, so I thought that I’d share this little update! Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!
