CP Rewritten: Pirate Party – Crab Battle Sneak Peek
There’s already been a couple of sneak peeks featuring the Pirate Party, including duels between other penguins, but another type of battle has now been shared by the team! These involve battles with pirate crabs, which it seems that penguins will be able to instigate using some of the treasure chests scattered across the island.

There’s still not an official date on when to expect the Pirate Party, but the team have said that it should be “hopefully very soon” as the team approach the finishing stages of the event. As soon as more information is released about the event though, I’ll be sure to let you know!

CP Rewritten: 5th Anniversary Party – Cake Sneak Peeks
A couple of new sneak peeks have been released by the Club Penguin Rewritten team in regards to the 5th Anniversary Party due to take place next month! Each anniversary event typically has a cake, and this year will be no exception, with the team having released a sneak peek of this year’s cake.
It appears that each layer represents the colours of the Anniversary Hat from the previous four years, which is also a neat addition to the cake!

The other sneak peek is slightly more mysterious, but appears to show some sort of room where the cake has taken up the whole screen, and in the centre of it, the Anniversary Hat appears to be located. It’s possible that this could be similar to the trains at the Holiday Party last month, where you’re able to waddle around the cake layers without the room changing. However, it’s still quite a mystery!

In the meantime, don’t forget that it’s currently possible to influence some of the decorations at the event by voting! Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!

CP Rewritten: 5th Anniversary – Rooms Vote
Some more details have been released about the plans for the 5th Anniversary Party on Club Penguin Rewritten, which the team have already called the “craziest” one yet!
Unlike previous years, the whole island will be decorated, with the exception of minor indoor rooms. However, the decorations will be based on previous parties, with the community being able to vote on their desired preference using the poll system on the official blog post. You can see this below!

As a reminder, the anniversary is marked on 12th February, but the event usually occurs for a few days surrounding that date. Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!

CP Rewritten: Pirate Party – Duels Sneak Peek
A sneak peek has been released of the duel mini-game at the Pirate Party on Club Penguin Rewritten! It appears to be a case of picking which sword strike to use through guesswork, with different options countering your opponent’s choice. However, there’s also some animations for each of the sword strikes!

These duels will allow you to “earn some quick points for quick loot”, which will probably be the “earning swords” aspect of the party that was mentioned in the video trailer. Also, it’s worth noting in this sneak peek that The Black Shell appears to have replaced Rockhopper’s Migrator, which seems a bit peculiar…

Card Jitsu Cards Giveaway (17/01/22)
It’s time for another Card-Jitsu cards giveaway as part of Mountains Monday! I should stress that, as always, these cards are loose physical ones, meaning they’ll be posted to your address; they can’t be redeemed online. I should also note that these will continue to work just like last year.
For today, you can see all the cards below!

They are the following cards:
- Mine Cave Construction
- Puffle Paddle
- The Test
- Super Exclusives
- Elite Agent (power card)
The Entry Question for this month was to unscramble the letters HSLEKLCLHBEAT which formed The Black Shell, the name of Shellbeard’s ship. Although 71.2% of people answered it correctly, there were a lot less entries than usual, and I recognise many found it challenging.
The giveaway has now ended, and the winner is Earexploder! If you didn’t win, don’t worry; there’ll be plenty of other opportunities in the future. [screenshot]
In future, I’m open to switching the “Entry Challenge” to a “Bonus Challenge”, where answering the question correctly will make you more likely to win rather than be a necessity to enter. This was how it was like before the pandemic, but I realise some people might prefer the current system!
The giveaway will end at 16:30 GMT on Tuesday 18th January 2022. Best of luck if you choose to enter!

CP Rewritten: January Furniture Catalog Cover
A sneak peek has been released by the Club Penguin Rewritten team of the upcoming Furniture Catalog! It only features the cover, which depicts some pirate crabs splashing in treasure. However, the team did reveal that the catalog “should be [launched] in the next few days”.

Although there isn’t an exact timeframe for its release, I’ll be sure to let you know if anything else is confirmed! It’ll be interesting to see what furniture is included, but I imagine there’ll be a lot of pirate and adventure themed items.

CP Rewritten: 5th Anniversary to be “Craziest Ever”
Each year, around the 12th February, there’s an Anniversary Party to mark the launch of the game. This is separate from celebration to mark Club Penguin’s anniversary, which occurs in October. However, since it’s almost February now, that event is nearly upon us!
The team haven’t revealed anything specific, but they have been creating some excitement in the last few hours by describing it as the “craziest anniversary” they’ve ever planned, citing the decorations and hat choice.
Club Penguin Rewritten’s Anniversary is also going be the…craziest anniversary we’ve ever had, in terms [of] the hat choice [and] decorations.
-stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administratorTypically, there’s only one hat available without any choice, and the rooms which tend to be decorated are the Coffee Shop, Book Room and Night Club. It’ll be interesting to see if the team have different plans this year, especially since it marks half a decade since the game launched!

As soon as more information is revealed, including surrounding mascot visits, I’ll be sure to let you know. Until then, it seems that the Anniversary Party will remain a bit of a mystery! Thank you very much for reading!

CP Rewritten: Pirate Party – Shellbeard Artwork Sneak Peeks
As you may be aware, the Club Penguin Rewritten will have been introducing a new mascot to the island for the Pirate Party, named Shellbeard! As part of this, the team have now released some of the artwork and designs which will feature him on the island.
The first piece relates to the background which you’ll be able to obtain by meeting him on the island when he begins visiting. It appears to depict Shellbeard on his ship, alongside a pirate crab and a magnificent sunset!

As he will be visiting the island though, Shellbeard will also need a new stamp for those who manage to meet him, and that’s what the second piece is! It appears that he will be an “Extreme” mascot, meaning that his visits probably won’t be that common, and the Pirate Party might be the first and last chance to catch him for a while.

For the best chance of meeting him, I’d recommend checking the Shellbeard Tracker, which will be kept updated with all the latest information about his visits. Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!

CP Rewritten: Pirate Party – Ski Village Sneak Peek
Ahead of the Pirate Party’s release, there’s been a sneak peek of two more rooms revealed by the Club Penguin Rewritten team: the Ski Hill and the Ski Village! The former only really contains a magnificent sunrise, but the latter has been more decorated with sand and trees, and also appears to feature a pirate treasure chest in the centre.
It’s possible that the pirate treasure chest could be involved in one of the features, such as duelling or earning swords, but that currently remains a mystery! Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!
