Sending Club Penguin Postcards
Last night, I promised a mechanism to send my Club Penguin postcards around the world in order to spread just a little bit more joy before things start to fade away. I want to outline what they are today, but please bear in mind that this involves sending a physical postcard to your address, so only enter if you’re comfortable!
#1: I’ll be picking 5-10 people who consistently managed to answer the Bonus Questions for Mountains Monday giveaways correctly over the last year, and reaching out to them in order to offer a postcard.
#2: If you’d also like a postcard, please leave a comment on this post with a sentence or two about how Club Penguin has shaped your life. After 24 hours of this post being published, I will pick 10 people randomly to receive a postcard, so please make sure you enter your email address in the “Email” field of the Comments section (this won’t be public, but it allows me to reach out to ask for your address).
Update – 15th April: it’s been a privilege to read all your wonderful stories, and I have read each one – even if there are too many to respond to! I wish that I could send a postcard to everyone, but I have picked eighteen people who you can see below. Please check your inbox if your name is listed.
- Leo4580
- Pinkie Spark
- Nathalia R.
- Candice2905
- manschizoid1
- Mireia
- Kristalli
- Vincent
- StarmanTim

- ulasgazi09
- Dragonetta
- Zio

#3: Since I mentioned this possibility yesterday and people were interested, if you’d be willing to cover the cost of postage, I’d be happy to send you a postcard too. See below for the option to buy one!
Update – 16th April: I’ve removed the option to purchase a postcard now. Thank you very much if you bought one – it’ll be dispatched before the end of this month, and I’ll email you once it has!
Club Penguin has been a special part of many lives, and if that includes you, I hope that a postcard would allow you to have something to commemorate it – I’ll also write a little message on it. You’ll know if you’ve won a postcard this week, and I’ll mail them out by the start of May. Thank you very much.

Easter Egg Hunt 2022
It’s a bit of a tradition to hold an Easter Egg Hunt each year on Club Penguin Mountains, and this year will be no different! Although Easter is still a little bit later in the month, given that many have started their Spring break already, I thought it’d be best to hold it now.
The prize is a new Club Penguin Spy Pack Kit, though there’ll also be a postcard. The pack contains a variety of things, particularly a case and stylus intended for the Nintendo DS, but it can really be used for anything! You can see an image of the prize below, and it’ll be mailed to the winner.
There are three different eggs hidden across the site! You won’t see the egg until you click the right location, and I must stress that they could be on the homepage or any other page, but not on any old posts; to clarify, pages are the links which you can access from the top navigation menu, such as the Playercard Generator or any of the Mascot Trackers. Here’s how it works:
- Figure out where the egg has been located based on the hints below
- Go to the location and click that link/image etc.
- Type out the secret word which will appear after clicking the egg into the form at the bottom of this post
Here are the hints to where the eggs are…
Egg 1:
“Congratulations” – it will say that…and for passing, you may have a hat!
Egg 2:
Sliding left and right, look at what immediately becomes in your sight.
Egg 3:
Missing from the island for a while, agents should seek the guide to this trial.
Once you’ve found the three eggs, fill out this form to be entered!
The giveaway has now closed! The winner is ITinkyWinkyI – congratulations, and please check your email! See below for the answers to the eggs…
Here is where the eggs were located:
- An image on the “Become a Tour Guide” page
- The “Learn more” link for the Penguins Around the World part of the slider at the top of the homepage
- The Field-Ops button on the right sidebar of the site
The Easter Egg Hunt will close on Saturday 8th April at 10am BST. Best of luck finding the eggs if you choose to enter!

Card Jitsu Cards Giveaway (21/03/22)
As always for the third Monday of the month, it’s time for another Card-Jitsu cards giveaway! I should stress that, as always, these cards are loose physical ones, meaning they’ll be posted to your address; they can’t be redeemed online.
For today, you can see all the cards below!
They are the following cards:
- Goal!
- Holiday Gifts
- Test Glider
- Captains
- Aunt Arctic Sketch (power card)
The giveaway has now closed, and the winner is Orreanna – congratulations, and please check your email! If you didn’t win, don’t worry as there’ll be plenty of opportunities in the future. [screenshot]
The challenge for this week was to identify the mini-game which used a certain audio track based on one second of it. The answer was Catchin’ Waves, and 85.3% people correctly answered this.
The giveaway will end at 4:30pm GMT on Tuesday 22nd March. Best of luck if you choose to enter!

The challenge to complete the pattern was probably one of the hardest which these challenges have been so far (they will get easier from next month, I think!) and only 35.6% of people answered correctly. You can see it below.
The answer was D – the pattern was the colours on the vending machine in the Arcade, and you can see that brown is the last one which appears.
The giveaway will end at 11:30am GMT on Tuesday 22nd February. Best of luck if you choose to enter!

Card Jitsu Cards Giveaway (07/02/22)
I’m afraid that, last week, it turns out that I incorrectly posted the “Tunes” part of Mountains Monday instead of a Card-Jitsu cards giveaway. As such, I thought it’d be best to hold the giveaway this week even if the schedule has been a bit off this month, and given the mix-up, there won’t be a challenge to enter!
For today, you can see all the cards below!
They are the following cards:
- The Mine Cave is Safe!
- Stadium
- Community Tree
- April Fools
- Puffle Rescue: Underwater (power card)
The giveaway has now closed! The winner is Super107 – congratulations, and please check your email! If you didn’t win, don’t worry; there’ll always be more chances in the future. [screenshot]
The giveaway will end at 9am GMT on Tuesday 8th February 2022. Best of luck if you choose to enter!

Card Jitsu Cards Giveaway (17/01/22)
It’s time for another Card-Jitsu cards giveaway as part of Mountains Monday! I should stress that, as always, these cards are loose physical ones, meaning they’ll be posted to your address; they can’t be redeemed online. I should also note that these will continue to work just like last year.
For today, you can see all the cards below!
They are the following cards:
- Mine Cave Construction
- Puffle Paddle
- The Test
- Super Exclusives
- Elite Agent (power card)
The Entry Question for this month was to unscramble the letters HSLEKLCLHBEAT which formed The Black Shell, the name of Shellbeard’s ship. Although 71.2% of people answered it correctly, there were a lot less entries than usual, and I recognise many found it challenging.
The giveaway has now ended, and the winner is Earexploder! If you didn’t win, don’t worry; there’ll be plenty of other opportunities in the future. [screenshot]
In future, I’m open to switching the “Entry Challenge” to a “Bonus Challenge”, where answering the question correctly will make you more likely to win rather than be a necessity to enter. This was how it was like before the pandemic, but I realise some people might prefer the current system!
The giveaway will end at 16:30 GMT on Tuesday 18th January 2022. Best of luck if you choose to enter!

Holiday Giveaway 2021 Winners
The fourth Holiday Giveaway on Club Penguin Mountains has now concluded! This one had seventeen winners, which is more than ever before, across six different continents. Before revealing the winners though, I’d just like to thank everyone for participating – there were hundreds of entries each day, and I hope that the Holiday Giveaway has helped spread some festive joy. 🎄
Now for the big reveal…the winners! Below are the winners of the seven daily prizes:
- Day 1: Narkosias
- Day 2: denyoxygen
- Day 3: Blakeben10
- Day 4: selawco
- Day 5: EthanOctipus
- Day 6: Piglet 678
- Day 7: cherrypie292
As promised, there are also ten winners of a postcard:
- Pinklike
- Super107
- Amorcito28
- Greenysiddie
- Othis11
- GeorgeNarthe
- Mooxaxa90
- Sirtoro
- beebee15900
- MilesTails97
Each day had a Bonus Challenge! Although this wasn’t necessary to be entered, it did provide another entry, and most people attempted them. As such, here are the answers for those curious
Day 1: Narkosias
The Bonus Challenge was to select the odd one out between Buoy #8, Fluffy the Fish painting, Jet Pack, and Snow Trekker. Surprisingly, this seemed a lot harder than I expected. The odd one out was the “Jet Pack”, because that’s the only item not contained inside the Lighthouse. (30.2% answered correctly)
Day 2: denyoxygen
The Bonus Challenge was a riddle: “Melting tiles while my fiery black puffle smiles – what mini-game am I?”. With a couple of exceptions, almost everyone said Puffle Rescue or Thin Ice. I did think carefully about allowing the former, but I’m afraid that I just didn’t see it fitting within the “melting” part of the riddle since black puffles only appear underwater there. As such, Thin Ice was the only accepted answer. (83.8% answered correctly)
Day 3: Blakeben10
The Bonus Challenge was to select the odd colour. This was #8; most people who selected this colour correctly identified that it was the only colour of ghost not part of the Candy Hunt at the Halloween Party this year. I was reasonably generous with the reasons, so if you mentioned something to do with ghosts or the Candy Hunt and selected colour #8, you almost certainly got this right. (34.4% answered correctly)
Day 4: selawco
The Bonus Challenge was to identify which room the image above was taken in. It was from the bookshelf in the Book Room (67.7% answered correctly)
Day 5: EthanOctipus
The Bonus Challenge for this day was to figure out which maze could not be completed. Maze C could not be completed. (76.4% answered correctly)
Day 6: Piglet 678
The Bonus Challenge was the word puzzle above. “Mitten” was the correct answer. Technically, “Litter” does work, but I couldn’t find a convincing link to winter with that, so I’m afraid that wasn’t accepted. (48.2% answered correctly)
Day 7: cherrypie292
The word “Glacier” was not contained within the word search. (68.8% answered correctly)
To those who have won a prize – congratulations! You would have received an email from me, so please respond to that within 72 hours or comment below if you can’t find it.
I realise that, although there were ten more winners compared to the previous three years, there will be many people who are disappointed and didn’t win anything. I wish that it would be possible to provide more festive joy, but unfortunately, the cost of international postage just doesn’t allow for that. However, please be assured that the monthly giveaways will still continue, so there are still opportunities in the future. I hope that everyone has a wonderful and restful Christmas though!
