Club Penguin Island Catalog Details Confirmed
In a tweet, the Club Penguin Island team have confirmed how making money from catalogs will work when the new update comes out on Wednesday.
The amount of people who buy your item won’t affect the coins you get, you’ll only get paid for entering.

We’ll need to see how it plays out first, but I’m very disappointed at this. It was what made me excited for catalogs in the first place, for everyone to try and sell their items and make some coins. From the one tweet of information we’ve got, I’m not too fond of the catalog as I’m sure some people would think of workarounds to abuse the system. It also doesn’t sound as fun as some of the ideas many in the community have proposed. That being said, all we’ve got is a tweet, and we’ll need to see how it plays out!

Full Recap of Club Penguin Island Version 1.2
Club Penguin Island version 1.2 is going to launch on the 12th or the 13th or April and in this post, I’ll be revealing every single known detail which we are aware of so far. Let’s start with the exciting stuff.
1. New area & chapter 2 of Aunt Arctic’s Adventures
We will be able to visit Herbert’s Base during the second chapter of Aunt Arctic’s adventures. Gary will also be making an appearance in this chapter of adventures.

2. New levels, party supplies and items
As such, the max level has been increased to level 15 with there being new rewards at each level. Level 13 will unlock the Prehistoric Pack.
On the 13th, members will be able to unlock the Giant Panda Hoodie. Non-members will not get any items contrary to popular belief but will be able to use new emojis and single party supplies. Members will also be able to unlock the Hydrant, Seaweed Smoothie Tray and the XL Fireworks as a party supply.
Also, Tangled items will be available at the Disney Shop.

There will be style challenges and an opportunity for us to enter. We already have a list of challenges and they will change everyday.
Dot will also have a clothing catalog and it is likely that we will make the items in these. SheepVSGravity is rumoured to have said that we will make some coins from selling items, however there is no proof to confirm this.

4. Tubes
There will be 7 tubes for members to use on Club Penguin Island, each one having its own design. Here’s a list of when they unlock, kindly provided by MikeyMichael.

5. Events
This month will have some awesome events which are Earth Day, World Penguin Day and Radio Music Disney Awards. The items and emojis for Earth Month will be out on the day of the update and it is possible that the rest of the decorations will be up too.

6. A map and phone
There will be a map for us to use and the Daily Challenges tab will be replaced by a phone. This phone is where we can access the Island News, the new Daily Challenge interface, check the PST time and more.

7. New Daily Challenges
There will be new Daily Challenges, like to use 10,000 Born in China emojis in one day. That reminds, maybe we will be seeing some form of Disney advertising in the game…

8. Bug fixes
It is strongly believed that the team will fix major bugs, like one where you can’t pick up the conch shell in Rockhopper’s Adventures.
Conclusion:
I may have missed one or two things and the team might have a few more small things planned but this is all we know so far. The update will almost certainly be out on the 12th but could be the 13th depending on your timezone.

Herbert’s Base to come in CP Island 1.2 UpdateÂ
Some really big news! MikeyMichael’s tracker on the Club Penguin Island Discord has tracked a staff member on the version 1.2 update at Herbert’s Base!
That means that Herbert’s Base WILL be around in less than a week! This is likely a new area that I’m guessing unlocks when you complete chapter 2 of Aunt Arctic’s Adventures! Or it might be like the end of Rockhopper’s Adventures where you can only visit that area for a limited time.

Club Penguin Island 1.2 Sneak Peek Analysis & Release
On the 13/14th of April, new Daily Challenges are planned to start and this is believed to be the release date of the 1.2 update to Club Penguin Island according to credible source MikeyMichael. This could always change, but now we’ve received seven amazing sneak peeks of things coming in this update!
I’m going to share them with you, in the order which I’m most excited for and we’ll take a closer look at the images.
1. Catalogs
Weirdly enough, this is an image we’ve already seen except placed on our screen three times. However, what we do know is a list of the challenges and a bit of information on creating our catalogs, which I’m excited for! You can check it out here.
2. Herbert
Herbert’s Base is coming to the island and it’ll be up to us to stop him! This might not be the return of the EPF like many suggest but I suspect it to be part of chapter 2 of Aunt Arctic’s Adventures.
From surveillance cameras to something that looks like a Field-Op, this seems like it’s going to be good fun which is why it’s the second thing I’m most excited for!
3. New Levels and Prehistoric Rewards
The fact that I can finally get more XP for doing Daily Challenges and the new adventure excites me, and it’s even more awesome there’ll be new rewards for it! I’ve been max level for a while now so hopefully it’s kind of difficult to level up now!
Also, I see what you did there, CP! The community was angry when Spike Hike got his items and you said it was just for display purposes…many months later and one of them is already in game! Not a bad thing!
4. The Events
We’ve got our first exclusive look at what an event will be like and we can see random decorations plotted everywhere! It looks awesome so far, but we’ll have to see it in-game before we can make any assumptions.
The thing many of us have been wishing to find out (scale) has kind of been answered. We can see how decorated an area will be. From this angle, it looks great!
5. Tubes
It looks like members will be able to use new tubes, even one that looks like a cake! The idea of a tube shop seems pretty cool and I hope for each event, non-members and members can collect a tube. These tubes, I think, will be extremely rare in the future. I can really see the huge potential of these tubes way into the future, but it’s just a neat little addition in this update.
6. Map
As the Island grows, we’ll need a map! I do think it’s out a *bit* too early and May would be better, but the main thing here is that they’ve changed it from May to April. It’s just a nice little addition!
7. Tangled Disney Costumes
Tangled will be a new costume you can buy in the Disney Store. I’m pretty sure many people will like this, but not me!
Conclusion:

Club Penguin Island MAJOR News – 1.2 & 1.3 Sneak Peeks
There are LOADS of incredible things shown in the first episode of series 2 of Island Insider! Today I’m going to break them all down but first, check out the video! Megg’s enthusiasm totally made my day!
Let’s take a look at all the amazing sneak peeks shared AND the new information we’ve got! Honestly this is so exciting, WOO HOO! I cannot wait to show you the sneak peeks of the speed run but let’s start with the “small” stuff!
Phone and Map
There will be a new layout where we can access the latest Island News! It will replace the current Daily Challenges button. We also will have a new map, except this time, we’ve got a full sneak peek of it!
New Levels…and Gary!
Power Stations…? 
One of the two images shared showing level 13 rewards In case you missed it, Aunt Arctic’s adventures of Chapter 2 will be out in April! There will be level 13 and the prizes will be all prehistoric! In the image above, we can also see Gary!
Catalogs, Dot & Style Challenges
Firstly, Dot will be a clothing catalog, just like Rory, who will be an igloo catalog. We can see a little design of her looks which (fortunately) aren’t too different from classic Club Penguin.
But more excitingly WE MAKE THE CATALOGS! There are opportunities to sell our own items that we design and enter them into “Style Challenges” which we aren’t quite sure the details about. This is SO my favourite part of the update, there’s so much coming!
However, I can share with you a lost of the catalogs that we will be seeing!

New Party Supplies
There will be a hydrant, extra large fireworks and a Seaweed Smoothie tray all coming to Club Penguin Island! Megg has also requested we leave suggestions of future foods in the comments of the blog.
I do hope that there is a purpose to party supplies, like party blasters, but either way, this is epic! By the way….who’s coming to the party in less than half an hour?
Party/Event Information
Firstly, we’ve been told that Earth Month is indeed happening! Also, the Stage will be “transformed” for a “Radio Music Disney Event”. Sounds interesting though I’m not sure if everyone would like a “Disney Event”, we’ll just need to wait and see!
Megg said that we just need to wait to see how events are built out and that’s understandable! I’m sure the team will make adjustments depending on the feedback they receive from us, the community.
The Speed Run of stuff coming in May
Firstly, we see four new emojis coming to Club Penguin Island. Also is that Rookie on the top right? He seems so much…younger.
A coffee machine! Not sure what this represents but hey, it looks cool!
WOAH! Jet Packs! Now this kind of looks like a mini-game, what else could it possibly be?
The most interesting of them all in my opinion, a race course, except for the ground! This is likely to be a mini-game in my opinion.
Lastly, just a quick sneak peek at a unicorn costume.
Interestingly, the map was also in this sneak peek, meaning that the map will be coming in May and not April which is a bit surprising, but nothing big! After all, new areas are in May.
