The Ghost Meter has been filled on Club Penguin Island, with Gary congratulating you as soon as you enter the Island Central area!
Members can collect the Pumpkin Costume and everyone can collect the All Hallows’ Tee, however it appears that the ghost game is still available to play for the 20 coins reward.
I feel like it’s important to share that this was not a community event, the ghost bar filled up automatically without the interference of the community. This was proven by the files and that it was completely filled up at exactly midnight PST, but at least it did a good job of bringing many penguins online!
I’m really glad that non-members are finally able to wear an item! Hopefully there will be more activities, like a Scavenger Hunt, over the course of the month on the island. Thank you very much for reading!
The Club Penguin Island 1.7 update has been released for many, containing a new area, party and mini-game along with other small improvements!
This post will be fully sharing what’s in this new update and be a guide for the Halloween Party!
The largest selling point of this new update is a brand new area: Island Central. It is a spectacular new area though a lot smaller than many expected, but this is due to the at least three rooms which have not opened up yet. Currently, the only store open is just another Disney Store.
A new mini-game has been released! The concept is that you need to memorise the notes which appear on the screen and then tap them out of the three options. Though it’s not too difficult, it’s a pretty cool game and definitely exceeded my expectations!
Franky’s Pizza is a lot smaller than originally expected but it does contain two new varieties of pizza! On the topic of Party Supplies, party games have had their prices reduced and Marble Hunt is back! Also, fishing now rewards you with 5XP for a random mascot.
There’s also a little Halloween Pumpkin Supply which you take candy from and put in your beak.
The other huge part of this update is the Halloween Event! The entire island is decorated with some night skies and other spooky items. When you log on, you will also receive 3 emojis, 3 fabrics and 3 decals.
There’s also a little activity to achieve some rewards, which some are also available for non-members. These are the rewards on offer., but they need to be unlocked!
These are the steps to earn these items!
- Enter the Island Central area where a cut scene will automatically begin
- Listen to Gary and watch his invention
- Head to the little bat statue on the right side of the area. A timer will count down, so try and gather some friends before it hits zero!
- When the pumpkins appear, start throwing snowballs at them. Eventually, you’ll knock over all the pumpkins but you have to do it within a time limit, similar to Crate & Co!
- You’ll earn some coins, but then you’ll need to listen to Gary again and watch the machine
- Keep battling the ghosts again until the meter fills up, which may take a while, but then you can claim your reward!
That pretty much concludes the contents of this update! However, there is one more thing I’d like to share with you. We already know some rather exciting content is coming, such as igloos, but the team also included this in the new Island Central area. It seems familiar from classic Club Penguin because it is a puffle. Is this the Puffle Forest?
I would like to give some further thoughts on it. This update disappoints me due to the lack of new levels and general lack of incentive to play. As a max-level player, I have no reason to log on everyday or pay for membership.
Island Central looks beautiful, but with so many shops closed, all it really is are a few more seats, a Dance Game (which is really cool) and some new gear. That doesn’t make me too happy, simply because of there being no new levels, which would have made a huge (positive difference).
Other than that, I hope you will enjoy the update! Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest news and guides! Waddle on!
Later this month, Halloween will be arriving on the island and today the team have shared a sneak peek of a party supply on Club Penguin Island in the 1.7 update!
This is the pumpkin which will be a party supply later this month.
Although we don’t know if it’ll be temporary or permanent, I hope that this will be more than just a usual, small action. Perhaps we’ll be able to collect candy and then exchange them for rewards, such as coins or items. It may look familiar to you as it can be seen in this mysterious image!
Along with that, the team also shared a decal which will be obtainable in the 1.8 update in December! It’s a decal of some bells, so it definitely seems related to the Holiday Party! Perhaps something similar will happen then too!
Those are all the Club Penguin Island sneak peeks which were shared today, thank you very much for reading! I’m excited to see what the Halloween/Holiday Party will hold, and be sure to check back for more of the latest news and guides!
This week’s sneak peek contains a whole load of photos on the Halloween Event next month, as well as a massive photo of the Island Central area that we’ve not seen yet!
It confirms he return of the dark and spooky sky, as well as some other decorations, and mascot redesigns. The event starts when the 1.7 update is released, which will likely be in ten days, and will probably be the biggest event so far!
We start with a huge look of Island Central in 1.7, with Franky’s on the right and the mosaic on the left. For the first time, it seems clear that there will be another Disney Store (possibly for furniture) and we get a look at some of these busking stations. Igloos will still be under construction.
There is also water and what appears to be a canal, which to me, is the most beautiful part of this area! The timer suggests some sort of mini-game with this area, and Gary being on the far left does open up the possibility of Gary’s Adventures in the future!
The image above also seems to show some Halloween themed blueprints and some sort of mysterious portal. We do know that non-members will receive an item in this event though! Those were the main things which are new in the Island Central area!
The image above of Beacon Boardwalk demonstrates some more of the spooky designs, but to me, the Full Moon in green looks slightly weirder than the one on classic Club Penguin? I love the Jack’o Lanterns though and I think they’re a great way to bring light to the island! The Migrator also looks spooky, and Rockhopper’s vampire redesign does look awesome!
The last picture shows Mt. Blizzard’s climbing wall illuminated, as well as the spooky shadows and the sky in the background! Once again, I don’t really like the shade of the sky and it seems like there’s water, except the colour has been changed, but I do appreciate the effort to bring back the dark sky!
Overall, this event seems to have succeeded my expectations! The next question is how long will this event last for, but I’m just really excited to see the Halloween Party and Island Central area in-game. Be sure to check back for more of the latest news and guides, thank you for reading!
Once the 1.7 update comes out, mascots will be receiving a Halloween redesign for the whole of October on Club Penguin Island!
Some mascots look like faeries, others like werewolves, but Joe posted a whole collection of the redesigns on the blog! The change will be permanent for the whole of the month and the redesign will also be noticeable in adventures! You can read the official post here.
These designs look rather…interesting and scary! I really love the creativity of how Rookie is a werewolf, Aunt Arctic a witch and Rockhopper a vampire. They look awesome! I’m really hoping that there is a lot planned for this Halloween event, especially with a night sky.
With these redesigns, maybe we will be getting a special Halloween adventure featuring some of these mascots? Only time will tell! Be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Island 1.7 news. Thank you for reading!
Halloween is approaching soon and as such, the team have posted a picture of a little spooky-themed costume on social media! This is the first of multiple costumes to come.
You may notice though that around the border, there are four emojis. These are almost certainly going to be coming to the game soon. I assume that they will be a reward for the Halloween Event later this month!
The emojis we can see are the:
- Candy Emoji
- Pumpkin Emoji
- Skeleton/Ghost Emoji
I find it highly likely that these are emojis coming in-game, but the team also did hint at the idea on Twitter saying it sounds like something they would do, so I’m pretty certain these will be available soon!
I’m really excited for the Halloween events this month! Be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Island news and guides. Thank you very much for reading!
A Halloween Event will be coming to Club Penguin Island next month, and many players are hoping it’ll be the biggest event yet! A major element of the party in classic CP was the dark sky, and Joe has suggested that it “might just return”.
I’d like to give a huge thank you to Cookiezitto for allowing me to use this screenshot of his!
I’m really hoping that we will see the Dark Sky return as that will be a HUGE element of what is hopefully an exciting event on Club Penguin Island! The more requests the team get for it’s return, I’m guessing the more likely it will be implemented, and so many players have asked for the dark sky to be around!
Thank you very much for reading and a huge thanks to Cookiezitto for allowing me to use this image, be sure to check back for more of the latest news and guides!
A huge amount of leaks for the Club Penguin Island 1.6 and 1.7 update have been revealed overnight, covering igloos, a new area, new mini-games, events, free membership and more!
Some really exciting information has been revealed and I can’t wait to share them with you, however I would like to start by thanking Dj Stores and MrKcyre for all of this exciting news! Be sure to check out Dj’s exciting Club Penguin Island blog here!
We start with Find Four…or should I say Fossil Four! It is also possible that this game could also be called “Dino Four”. The winner will receive 30 coins and 5 Aunt Arctic XP and you’ll have 20 seconds to place your chip and try and Connect Four. Second place will earn 20 coins!
Here’s some of the code found for igloos, but it appears that they will not be coming in the 1.6 update and likely not the 1.7 update. However, it does show that the team are working hard to try and get them out soon!
It appears that a new Loading Screen will feature the Town which could potentially mean that a Town will be coming in the 1.7 or 1.8 update! I posted about this a few months ago but it seems the team have definitely made progress developing this new area!
Other new featured marketing load screens will include DuckTales and the new party game. Talking about DuckTales…
We already know that the Disney Store for 1.6 will be themed around DuckTales, however thanks to Dj Stores we also are now aware that a lot more DuckTales things will be coming, including:
- Scrooge McDuck cane as a gear item
- Items for Scrooge
- Items for Huey
- Items for Louie
- Items for Donald
- Items for Webby
- Items for Dewie
- Items for Launchpad
- New Daily Challenges
Rookie has a whole load of new adventures coming! We already received a sneak peek for chapter two yesterday but now we have some more details, such as Rookie will have three new levels making the new max level 24.
There will be 5 new adventures in Chapter Two and Dj Stores kindly revealed the name of these:
- Make Good
As for the rewards, there will be 3 new emojis unlocked from completing these adventures but no new tubes in the 1.6 update! However…there will be 3 new clothing packs too!
- Adorbs Pack
- New Beach Pack
- Food Pack
Alright, this news is extremely exciting but I’ve saved the best for last! The next two things are sure to excite most players…and I mean “most players”. However, please note that the following details are not confirmed and anything could change as these are just leaks from the files which can change.
Starting from 8th September, a random Pizza Event will be held on the island! You will receive the following party supplies:
- 10 Pizza Boxes
- 10 Pizza Planet Boxes
- 5 Pinatas
- 5 Seaweed Smoothie Trays
This seems like a nice little random event which players will enjoy, but there’s still two more to come!
From the 1st of October, Bullying Prevention Month will begin. During this party, we will have a Unity Day with new Daily Challenges! However, there will also be items players get from Bullying Prevention Month Pack on the first of October! These are:
- Orange Friends
- Orange Heart Emojis
I think the concept of this event is really cool though and a nice way to carry on from the Online Safety: It Starts with You campaign. Hopefully it will continue to bring penguins together!
A few days ago, I made a post sharing that there would be stuff for Halloween. It turns out that from Monday 16th October, the Halloween Event will begin and it will contain new decals and fabrics! That’s all the information we have for now and I’m really hoping to see the island spookily decorated for this event as that would be amazing!
Lastly, and perhaps one of the most exciting things coming for new players and non-members, there will be an All-Access Weekend from Friday 6th October (12am) to Monday 9th October (12am). FREE MEMBERSHIP!
This essentially means that everyone will get membership, meaning that non-members can finally play the adventures to gain some extra XP, wear the clothes they’ve designed, spend coins and everything else a member can do!
This weekend will have it’s own special home theme screen and I hope that the team will advertise this event properly too, as many of the players I’ve asked said they would check out CP Island during this weekend.
No dates have been revealed officially yet though it is still a possibility that the update will be coming in September! We will get official news with the update notes of the 1.6 update this week.
However, altogether, this is some really awesome news and makes me feel much more excited for what’s to come after three hideous Island Insiders. Don’t forget that we also will be getting puffles and igloos sometime soon, so that’s even more to look forward to!
But once again, I must thank Dj Stores and MrKcyre for allowing me to post all of this information and I really appreciate them sharing it. Thank you very much for reading and be sure to check back for more of the latest news and guides!
