Club Penguin Rewritten Times – Issue #31 (10/10/17)
The 31st edition of the Club Penguin Rewritten Times has been published, containing details on Halloween, the upcoming storm and an Anniversary Party arriving later this month!
For the best experience, I would suggest reading the paper online for yourself but I will try and summarise some of the information published in this post!
The details which were released in this paper are:
- The Halloween Party begins on October 25th until November 5th
- A new Better Igloos catalog has been released and there will be a spooky igloo contest next week (yay!)
- A storm will hit Club Penguin Rewritten on October 18th, resulting in a dark and stormy sky
- Rumours are circulating that there will be more spooky outfits soon
- There will be a one-day event to celebrate Club Penguin’s anniversary on October 24th
- A new pin is hidden from now until November 8th
That’s all of the exciting information revealed in this paper! I’m really glad we’ll get an igloo contest and that there will be celebrations for the anniversary! Club Penguin Rewritten: October Sneak Peeks & Theory
The team have shared a new set of sneak peeks for this month’s Halloween Party, with some curious images hinting at new content! These were the three pictures that were posted to give us a hint at what’s coming in October!
We also received a sneak peek of a storm here, and many players think they have figured out what all these pictures and rumours are leading to. I think the rumours are correct, so I’m going to share my theory here! A 2008 Halloween Party.
The lamp of the Secret Room and the Lollipop are from the 2008, suggesting a Halloween Party based on the 2008 style. There was also a storm in 2008 during the party, but it didn’t rain, and we got a sneak peek clearly showing rain.
However, it did rain in 2010, with Gary the Gadget Guy predicting the storm that took place that year, which would explain the final of the three images. But the interesting thing about this is that during that party, there was no light shadow in the Town. This only forms one conclusion about October’s event.
It will be a custom party, mixing the Great Storm of 2010 together with the 2008 Halloween Party. This is purely speculation, but it’s the only thing which I think is able to explain all the sneak peeks so far. If this is true, it sounds incredible, and would really live up to the hype started by the team already!

CP Rewritten: Storm Sneak Peek
As a celebration for hitting 1,000,000 users overnight (yay!), the team are planning something special for today, but they’ve also posted a sneak peek of something coming later in the year.

Rain on Club Penguin! My guess is that the Great Storm of 2008 will be mixed with the Halloween Party later this month, which means that there will be some slightly custom content with other spooky decorations and activities!
I found this article in the Club Penguin Times that gives a bit more information of the storm during the Halloween Party, and it suggests lightning as well as the rain which Hagrid posted!
I’m actually really excited to see the content for the rest of the year, and this Halloween Party sounds amazing! From the small image we’ve seen, I’m guessing it might be the best party yet, so I’m very excited! Stu also hinted at some of the other stuff coming to the Island in November!

CP Rewritten: October Penguin Style Secrets (Halloween)
A brand new edition of the Penguin Style has been released, packed with lots of spooky and “rare” items, costumes and secrets! As always, I’ll be sharing the secrets inside the catalog!
I’d like to start however by giving a huge thanks to Best King 58 who helped me find the vast majority of the secrets inside this catalog! The circle on each page shows that there is a secret there and the picture next to it is what can be obtained by clicking the space inside the red circle!
Page one contains lots of awesome outfits! The secrets on this page though are the Black Cape, the Mask, the Ghost Costume and the Roman Helmet!
Update: There is one more secret on this first page which I forgot to mention! If you click the blue flower which is next to the pink flower on the faerie’s hair, you will unlock two new items: Cleo’s Headdress and Cleo’s Dress. Cleo appears to be a female pharaoh.
The second page contains the Extra Cheesy Costume, the Big Brow (or more commonly known as stu’s brow!), the Pegasus Costume and the voted Candy Corn Costume!
The third page contains a variety of older items, and notably the 3D glasses, as well as the Ballerina Costume, the Ballet Shoes and the Sombrero. The Viking Helmet is also obtainable by clicking the “C”. Doing this three times unlocks the Blue Viking Helmet!
This is the new Penguins at Work outfit for this month, and there are also special new Halloween Backgrounds!

Club Penguin Rewritten Times Issue #30 (03/10/17)
The 30th edition of the Club Penguin Rewritten Times has been published, containing details on the new prizes at the Fair, Halloween and other upcoming events this month, along with cool puzzles, jokes and more!
As always, I would suggest reading the newspaper for yourself online but as always, I will be summarising the most important details of the paper below!
Here’s the information featured in this week’s paper:
- New prizes will be released at the Fair booths today (October 4th)
- A new Halloween Penguin Style will be released today!
- New igloo music will also be released today
- A new Better Igloos catalog will be available on October 11th
- The selection of postcards will be updated on October 11th
- A new pin will be hidden on October 11th
- Aunt Arctic has said that paychecks will now be sent to Tour Guides and PSA agents

CP Rewritten: Spooky New Styles & Vote
The Halloween Party will be approaching Club Penguin Rewritten soon, with a new spooky catalog being released at the Gift Shop tomorrow! Joee a little sneak peek of the cover of the new Penguin Style, take a look!
It was described as one of the largest catalogues so far, with plenty of items so that nobody will be disappointed! So many players are already planning their costumes on the island, so I can’t wait to see the party begin!
A vote is also being hosted for the Horse Costume to be obtainable or a Candy Costume as part of the plan to allow players to help choose more content on Club Penguin Rewritten! You have a few hours left to vote on this post here.
