CP Rewritten Times: Issue #140 – Flight
A new edition of the Club Penguin Rewritten Times has been released! This one is notable because it contains the Coins for Change results, but it also alludes to this month’s party.
For the best experience, I would recommend reading the paper for yourself online as it always contains a variety of cool things such as artwork, but as always, I will summarise the news revealed.

This paper revealed the Coins for Change results:
- Medical help: 23%
- Protect the Earth: 44%
- Building homes: 32%
- Total donated: 443,162,500 coins (Wow! For context, in 2017, 66,349,900 coins were donated)
It also revealed some information regarding upcoming updates:
- “The rumours seem to be true” regarding this month’s party – the most prevalent rumour is that it will be a Festival of Flight, especially after the team recently backtracked on previous comments saying it would never return. There’ll be “quite a view”
- Tomorrow, a new Furniture catalog will be released
- On January 16th, a new space-related Stage play will be released, along with a new pin
It’s really amazing to see how much was donated to Coins for Change! As a reminder, those figures serve as a vote to how a specific amount of money will be donated. I’ll let you know if figures are released translating them into actual money (they were in 2017).

CP Rewritten: Possibility of Party with Night Sky
This month’s Penguin Style features a night sky in the background, so there’s been many rumours on whether or not the party this month will be set during the night.
I wanted to share this with you, as it seems relevant, though it may not necessarily be confirming anything. It does suggest that a nighttime party is a possibility though.
Player: I wonder what the party will be as the Winter Fiesta is basically deconfirmed. Seems to be night themed.
CP Rewritten: You’ll be seeing what we have in store very soon 🧐
I personally read that as an indication that this month’s party could be set when the island is dark, though this isn’t a confirmation. I just wanted to share this with you so you could make up your own mind.

CP Rewritten: Festival of Flight Comments Retracted
The latest edition of the Penguin Style has contained numerous items relating to flights, and have left many wondering if there will be a Festival of Flight. Previously, last year, an administrator said that party would never return.
These comments have now been retracted by Halopona, a moderator, and this was also echoed by the moderator JJ Sykes.
That (hagrid’s comments) was said a long time ago. We always listen to what the community want. If it’s something you guys really want back, chances are we have taken that into consideration.
-Halopona, Club Penguin Rewritten moderator
This could allude to another Festival of Flight, but it is unclear how the event will work considering the storyline was a one-off event. I’ll let you know if more is revealed!

CP Rewritten: Snowflake Tile Pin Location
A new pin has been hidden on Club Penguin Rewritten until January 16th. You can find this pin at the Mine Shack, just by the Herbert statue at the top of the room. It is the Snowflake Tile pin.

To obtain this pin, click it and then click “Yes”. It will be then be added to your inventory so that you can wear it as well as your stampbook! If someone is blocking it, I would suggest going on a less empty server to obtain it.

CP Rewritten: New Dock Design
The Dock has received a permanent redesign on Club Penguin Rewritten! It’s not quite the design it had for the New Year Event, but it’s still a really cool one as it contains some more details.
You’ll now see a detailed depiction of the Ski Village, Town and Lighthouse. There’s also some new tall trees and some more mountains!

Overall, this is a wonderfully improved design for the new year. Thank you for reading, waddle on!

CP Rewritten Times: Issue #139 – Floating Migrator
The first newspaper of 2020 has been released on Club Penguin Rewritten ,providing some details about the next update and revealing a bit about the baffling disappearance of Rockhopper.
For the best experience, I would recommend reading the paper for yourself online as it always contains a variety of cool things such as artwork, but as always, I will summarise the news revealed.

This edition reveals:
- Rockhopper’s disappearance is still a bit confusing, though he refers to a “floating Migrator” which was present in the cutscene. One theory is that he was delivering presents!
- Later today, a new Penguin Style and pin will be released
- On January 9th, a new Furniture Catalog will be released
- On January 16th, there’ll be a new space Stage play

CP Rewritten Times: Issue #138 – Rockhopper Missing
A new edition of the Club Penguin Rewritten Times has been released, providing a bit more information about the cutscene we saw yesterday.
For the best experience, I would recommend reading the paper for yourself online as it always contains a variety of cool things such as artwork, but as always, I will summarise the news revealed.

There’s only two pieces of news which has really been revealed in this edition. Firstly, there’ll be a small New Year’s Day celebration from December 31st to January 2nd. A new pin will also be available on January 2nd.
Secondly, Rockhopper has vanished! Curiously, his Migrator did arrive unharmed. Aunt Arctic is currently on the case, investigating his disappearance. Perhaps it’s linked to yesterday scene, but it’s still quite a mystery.
