Waddle on, Club Penguin Rewritten
Today marks almost one week since Club Penguin Rewritten’s closure and after blogging about the game for several months and playing the game since the beta, it is with deep sadness that this will most likely be my final Club Penguin Rewritten post.
One of the things I really wanted to do is just share some of my personal favourite parties and events in just a random order. Some of the memories on the island are so cool, so I just wanted to share them one final time on this blog.
Halloween Party:
This party was probably my favourite due to a combination of extremely well-decorated rooms, an amazing selection of costumes, really fun mascot meet-ups and challenging activities.
It was so cool to be able to complete a difficult Scavenger Hunt and even help a few other penguins finish it! From the Dark Chamber to the Haunted House, I also loved the huge variety of party rooms and the spooky feeling which the party had, it really was incredible!
Christmas Party:
The Christmas Party had such beautiful decorations, a wonderful catalog and lots of incredible soundtracks, whilst still also continuing the magic of Coins for Change! This party was definitely one of my favourites.
I love how the team were able to recreate the familiar holiday-feel, and I absolutely loved the decorations and outfits.
The 2018 countdown at the Snow Forts was also such a cool touch for the conclusion of the party, especially since it seemed really unique to the island! All of this made the 2017 Christmas Party one of my personal favourite events.
Operation Blackout:
Operation Blackout was one of the most memorable events, this party was executed almost to perfection! There were lots of cool activities, amazing decorations which changed regularly and my personal favourite thing, mascot meet-ups!
There were several mascot visits for this party, but they all had really fun personalities! Herbert even told me to “get off the island” at one point, it was incredibly fun!
Wilderness Expedition:
Perhaps one of the more underrated parties, I really loved the Wilderness Expedition. It only lasted a few days long, but the maze and puzzle was really enjoyable and fun! In the end, being able to adopt a brown puffle was cool too!
Music Jam:
This was the party which I first fully got engaged in and it was great! There were a variety of cool items and amazing rooms, as well as the chance to get the DJ Maxx stamp for the first ever time! It was overall a really cool party.
Winter Fiesta:
This party was just really cool, from the exclusive catalog containing the Red Lei, to the party’s rooms and celebrations! I really loved how the Casta Fiesta was almost always busy. This party was just overall really fun!
Water Party:
July was a really amazing month for me on the island. Not only was it the month where I was selected as a Penguin of the Week, but there was a really cool party too!
The Water Party had really cool decorations, including the whale, and there were so many fun events during the time such as Mod Monday! It was a lot of fun.
The Great Snow Maze:
Though a bit more recent, the Great Snow Maze still remains an extremely cool event! I loved being able to explore the maze and the Yeti Costume at the end was really awesome.
Penguin Play Awards:
This event occurred only a few weeks ago, so you may remember it! The month was quite tense for the game, but it still had a really cool party, especially with some of the decorations at the Pizza Parlour. I also really loved the costumes which were brought back.
Club Penguin 12th Anniversary Party:
For the first time ever on Club Penguin Rewritten, we were able to tip the Iceberg in celebration of Club Penguin turning twelve years old! The Coffee Shop also had a really amazing design, which was completely custom.
Great Storm:
Although this event was slightly smaller compared to others, I really loved the storm in October, and actually even wish it was permanent. The lighting on the buildings, the rain, the puddles, it was just a perfect addition to the island.
Waddle on Party:
Without a doubt one it was one of the most emotional parties, however it did not disappoint with amazing decorations and even a chance to tip the Iceberg!
But above all, this party had some really special mascot and community events, whether they were unplanned or planned, and I will really miss those.
These were some of my personal favourite parties, but there were so many more, some of which I didn’t even properly experience. The Medieval Party, St. Patrick’s Day Party, Festival of Flight, the Fair, the list goes on. I’m sure you may have had your own preferences too, but either way, I will really miss all these fun events.
Nothing will replace the magic of Club Penguin Rewritten. No other private server or game has such an incredible variety and flow of content, with an amazing community, backed by a trustworthy and professional team who genuinely care. To the Club Penguin Rewritten team, thank you so much.
It’s really been such a fun game to blog about too and really an honour to have helped quite a few people. I’ve loved every single moment and whilst this isn’t the end of this blog yet, I will really miss Club Penguin Rewritten.
I know that you might not be here for the next part of the journey, but I sincerely hope that you find something you enjoy, and I wish you the best of luck at whatever you do next. Thank you, and waddle on.

CP Rewritten: Penguin of the Week #50 – Community
I usually don’t post Penguin of the Week of Club Penguin Rewritten on this blog, however yesterday’s winner(s) were a bit different and special!
The winners were the community, including every single member who supported the game, such as yourself! This is the official heartwarming announcement which was written.
Hey Penguins!
Welcome back to the 50th edition of Penguin of the Week, or should I say “Penguins” of the Week.
This weeks winners have stuck by our sides for the past year and supported all of our work to make our snowy island unique and special. If it weren’t for them, we wouldn’t know where we could’ve gone with our island and not be as special as it is right now. Even when things were looking down, they would always cheer us up and support our decisions all the way. They’ve helped us create awesome memories, parties, events, and even helped us pick a new color back in July!
That being said, the 50th “Penguin” of the week goes to the Community!
Thank you all for helping with the love and support you’ve gave our island. Even though our beloved snowy island is closing, this is just the beginning of a journey for you penguins. The community will always live on and grow stronger and greater than ever before. Thank you all for your kind, caring, and supportive deeds on our island.
Waddle on!
Whilst this is a short post, I really wanted to share this nice message from the Club Penguin Rewritten team with you, and inform you that you are a Penguin of the Week! I’m going to miss the game a lot, but I think this was a great conclusion to a series which lasted around 50 weeks.

Club Penguin Rewritten has Closed
The moment that we have all dreaded has finally happened, Club Penguin Rewritten has permanently closed. 1,874,992 penguins, 13 amazing months and so many memories later, the experience has partly ended.
When trying to go onto the website now, you will see this heartwarming message.
Every server was full leading up to the moments before this, including safe chat servers. I was lucky to get onto Beanie, Cove before the game lost connection at exactly 14:00 Penguin Standard Time.
It’s a very emotional time for many now, and I am absolutely devastated, but you’ll hear more from me soon. I just felt like I quickly had to make this post. Club Penguin Rewritten has been the perfect game to play and to blog about, and I will definitely miss it.
Waddle on,

CP Rewritten: 9 More Mascot Visits – 04/03/18
Along with the thirteen visits from earlier today, Aunt Arctic, Rookie, Rory, Rockhopper, Herbert, Sensei, Franky and DJ Maxx all made an appearance just now on Club Penguin Rewritten!
They were spread across several severs, and will likely be the final mascots ever to visit the island, a very daunting thought. Nevertheless, the meet-ups were extremely fun! No mascot had a new background.
There is one hour left of Club Penguin Rewritten at the time of writing, and all I can say is that I hope you enjoy it! I have no doubts it will be very sad, but let’s make it one of the best hours yet!

CP Rewritten: 13 Mascots Visit – 04/03/18
Cadence, DJ Maxx, Gary, Rookie, Jet Pack Guy, Herbert, Rockhopper, Sensei, PH, Rory, Stompin’ Bob, G Billy and Petey K all logged into Club Penguin Rewritten at once today.
It will be the final day of mascot meet-ups, but it was an absolutely fun one! I managed to beat Sensei in Card Jitsu, some mascots were sending postcards, all of them were answering the questions and exploring the island whilst discussing the future!
It was an extremely fun meet-up, and Franky is the only mascot who has not attended the Waddle on Party yet! This meet-up was extremely fun, and it was so cool to meet almost every single mascot. I personally recorded the whole thing!
Enjoy your last few hours on the game, waddle on!

CP Rewritten: Elsa, Kermit & Merry Walrus Visits – 04/03/18
As part of the celebrations for the final day of Club Penguin Rewritten, Elsa, Kermit and Merry Walrus made a visit on the island on the server Blizzard!
We explored the island, interacted each other and had a very good time! It wasn’t actually Elsa, but a staff member dressing up as her! Staff members have been able to obtain all kinds of different items today, and as a result, lots of penguins have had fun seeing them online!
Another mascot who hagrid dressed up as was Merry Walrus, who looked really cool and even had a funny laugh!
Kermit also came online, though it was technically Hagrid once again!
In all seriousness though, some actual mascots will log on today! I just found these pictures quite funny and wanted to share it with you! None of these mascots had a background or stamp.

CP Rewritten: More Mascots to Log on Today
The last two days have been filled with many exciting mascot meet-ups, however not all of them have visited yet, and you may have missed some!
The good news is that there will be more mascots logging on today, March 4th. This has been confirmed by Hagrid, who is an administrator for Club Penguin Rewritten.
Unfortunately, today is the final day of Club Penguin Rewritten, which has made so many players including myself absolutely devastated. As such, I hope that you find today to be very enjoyable!

CP Rewritten: Herbert Visits – 03/03/18
Last night, Herbert made an extremely surprising visit on Club Penguin Rewritten, on the server Abominable! He was joined by Rookie and Jet Pack Guy too!
Herbert was an extremely fun mascot to meet, who interacted a lot with other penguins whilst making fun of them and exploring rooms, hoping to capture the other two EPF agents online! He did not have a new background when visiting.
This visit was partly tracked and posted about when he was online. Good luck meeting other mascots which are going to log on today!

Rookie made a special appearance on the server Abominable on Club Penguin Rewritten last night, due to the Waddle on Party.
He visited along with Jet Pack Guy and Herbert and as such, tried to hide from Herbert, explore rooms, speak to other penguins and more!
This visit was partly tracked and posted about when he was online. Good luck meeting other mascots which are going to log on today!

CP Rewritten: Jet Pack Guy Visits – 03/03/18
Last night, Jet Pack Guy made an appearance for the first time since Operation Blackout on Club Penguin Rewritten, due to the Waddle on Party!
He spent time around the island and spoke to penguins, but he also tried to hide from Herbert, who was also online on the same server (Abominable) and time as him! He gave out the same background from Operation Blackout.
This visit was partly tracked and posted about when he was online. Good luck meeting other mascots which are going to log on today!
