CP Rewritten Times: Issue #134 – December
It’s been a while since Club Penguin Rewritten news has been released, but now a new edition of the newspaper has been released. It reveals a bit of what to expect in December, though it is not clear if we will be having a Holiday Party or a Christmas Party. The team have repeatedly said it’s a Christmas Party, but the paper says otherwise. Of course, all elements of the event, irrespective of the name, will be the same!
For the best experience, I would recommend reading the paper for yourself online as it always contains a variety of cool things such as artwork, but as always, I will summarise the news revealed.
This paper reveals:
- A new “snow-filled” Penguin Style will be released on December 5th, along with a new pin
- On December 12th, new Furniture and Igloo catalogs will be released
- Rory is likely going to continue visiting this week, beyond the Winter Party

CP Rewritten: Field Ops now Monthly
Unfortunately, it has now been confirmed that Field Ops on Club Penguin Rewritten have been reduced from a new one being available each week to now being a monthly event.
The team did provide an explanation on the reasoning for the change.
Field Ops were changed to monthly because it was very difficult to work on them on a weekly basis. Also, we have limited resources that we are able to use for them, as a lot of the Field Op files are old and broken.

CP Rewritten: Snow Fort Pin Location
A new pin has been hidden on Club Penguin Rewritten until December 5th. You can find this pin at the Ski Village, just by the entrance to the Beach. It is the Snow Fort pin.
To obtain this pin, click it and then click “Yes”. It will be then be added to your inventory so that you can wear it as well as your stampbook! If someone is blocking it, I would suggest going on a less empty server to obtain it.

CP Rewritten: Winter Party – Town Sneak Peek
The Winter Party is due to begin on Club Penguin Rewritten this Thursday, and the team have released some sneak peeks of the event ahead of the party on the official blog.
The first sneak peek was the logo design for the party, which actually looks really cool and wintery!
The other, and probably more significant, sneak peek was a picture of the Town’s design for the event. Very snowy and frosty!
Check it out!
The other thing revealed was that this party is not intended to have grand designs, but rather be more community-based, as reflected by the statues which the community have designed.

CP Rewritten Field-Ops: Island Technology
The Director has confirmed that Herbert has temporarily retreated,
Just as a quick reminder, in order to access Field-Ops, you need to go to the EPF HQ and visit the yellow screen on the right. You do not need to go the EPF HQ to complete the Field-Op though, you can just head to the room below.
To complete this, head over to the Plaza, specifically between the Pet Shop and the Plaza. Waddle to the entrance to the Underground Pool is, and where my penguin is in the image below.
Your spy phone will turn green and start bleeping. Click it!
The challenge this time is to Break the Code!. As this varies for each player, I can’t show you exactly how to do this, but I can give you my recommended tactic.
Start your first turn by doing one of each symbol. For your second turn, keep the green shapes but change the yellow shapes to be one apart. Change the red ones to be completely apart, until eventually you end up with four green.
Gary will then thank you and state that this event seems to just be someone accidentally triggering the cameras at the Stage offline.

CP Rewritten Times: Issue #132 – Winter Party
A new edition of the Club Penguin Rewritten Times has been released, finalising the dates of the Winter Party and giving some more information about what’s in store this November!
For the best experience, I would recommend reading the paper for yourself online as it always contains a variety of cool things such as artwork, but as always, I will summarise the news revealed.
This paper reveals:
- The Winter Party will begin on November 21st, with there being statues from the community and “special talks with a certain penguin”
- On November 21st, the Stadium will be replaced by the Ice Rink and a new pin will be released
- A new Furniture and Igloo catalog will be released tomorrow
Whilst that does give quite a bit of information on the Winter Party, there’s still a lot left to be known…who is this “certain penguin”?

CP Rewritten: Flutterby & Befluttered to Return Soon
Almost all items will return at some point, but it’s rare for the team to explicitly state that some will be doing so soon. However, that is the case for The Flutterby and The Befluttered, two of the most popular hairstyles on the island!
Many players have been wondering why when they’ll be returning, since they weren’t in the latest Penguin Style that intended to balance hairstyles with more feminine hairstyles.
They (these hairstyles) will arrive soon, I have them in mind.
