Happy International Polar Bear Day!
Let’s talk about polar bears – many of us are familiar with Herbert and the sneaky troubles he has caused over the years!
From destroying the Penguin Secret Agency by using popcorn to darkening the island during Operation Blackout, and even harming our puffles in Operation Puffle, Herbert has caused quite some chaos!
Remember the troubles which Herbert faced in the really cute cartoon short, Puffle Trouble?
Unfortunately, Herbert isn’t the only polar bear facing trouble currently, especially since polar bears are still considered a vulnerable species today, which makes days like these even more important to raise awareness regarding the damage being done to polar bears and their habitats.
Climate change continues to greatly contribute to this, especially since polar bears rely completely on sea ice, which continues to melt, causing bears to have to travel long distances as habitat becomes more fragile. This sadly increases the risk of accidental contact with spilled oil, along with several other severe issues detrimental to the polar bear population.

Sometimes, it can be tricky to see what we can do to help! Sadly, in some cases, it is indeed very difficult, such as when polar bears are sadly sought for decorations, but often it is possible to help animals which are suffering, even if it’s not doing anything drastic!
- Ensuring to avoid wasting electricity & water and not using it when possible, whether that means favouring walking/biking/public transport, or even just turning off the tap whilst brushing teeth
- Favouring recycling whenever possible, whether that be through disposing of your litter or using reusable bags instead of plastic ones
- Stopping littering, especially plastic – it can and frequently does end up causing direct damage to animals, as well as humans too
If you’d like to, check out some of the great work which Polar Bears International and WWF are doing. Yes, there are lots of cute polar bear videos and pictures along with interesting statistics and research too!
Fifty years from now, what will they say about us here? Did we care for water and the fragile atmosphere?
-Prince
It’s important to mention the importance of that, but polar bears are really amazing animals, and now’s a great chance to celebrate, especially with Herbert around on our island!
Since the EPF has received some fairly major updates, and it’s International Polar Bear Day, now is a great time to celebrate with a giveaway!

This giveaway is for the eleventh edition of the Club Penguin magazine, which mainly features Herbert, but has an awesome comic on ninjas, some incredible artwork and more!
To enter, all you need to do is fill out the form which requires the following information.
Penguin Name: Needed to announce the winner (+1 entry)
Email: Needed to contact the winner
Country of Residence: A very small amount of countries have laws which means you cannot participate. This has never been an issue before, and in almost all countries, this won’t be an issue, but just to be sure please enter this too. Don’t post your full address.
Bonus Question: Check out the screenshot on the bottom right of the giveaway image. Which PSA mission is it from? (+2 entries for the correct answer)When participating in this giveaway, please have your parents’ permission if you’re a minor, as this is a giveaway for physical items. Although we cannot guarantee that the item will arrive, proof of postage will be sent to the winner to show it was posted, and any issues with the postal service will tried to be dealt with in the most reasonable way (though that might not necessarily mean a replacement), but this has never been an issue in my previous merchandise giveaways. The magazine has been removed from its original packaging, and though it has very minor damage on the spine and front/back cover due to being several years old (note that the age of the magazine means you should avoid submitting things to be featured to the magazine publishers as it is retired), there is close to no significant damage on the actual inside pages itself. No writing is inside. No cash or other merchandise alternative is available. Please also only enter once per address (so please don’t enter twice, even as a sibling!), and ensure you agree with our Privacy Policy.
This giveaway is now over and the winner has been posted here
The giveaway winner will be announced on Sunday 3rd March so good luck if you’re planning to enter! Regardless of whether or not you’re entering, maybe we can all do something better to help marine life, sea life and animals across the world.

CP Rewritten: Rookie’s Anvil Background
This is just a quick update to let you know that Rookie’s background, as he visited on Friday, is the new Anvil Background for this party!
Here’s how it looks like:

It’s the same background which Rookie had on classic Club Penguin for the Underwater Expedition and it didn’t return after that party ended, so this could be the only party which Rookie offers it for.

Good luck meeting him if you haven’t already!

CP Rewritten: EPF & PSA Rebuild Finished
It’s been quite a while since Herbert destroyed the EPF back in 2017 during Operation Blackout, but both the EPF and the PSA has now been rebuilt!
If you head to the EPF or PSA HQ, you’ll find both rooms look as before. However, something really cool has replaced the VR Room, accessible from the green tube in the EPF HQ.

A new custom room, with some amazing decorations! My favourite part is the super dramatic music which goes with the darker room. There’s several animations too, such as by throwing a snowball at the Herberts.
Along with the room changes, Gary has sent us a new message to our spy phones, suggesting there’s more to come.
Attention all agents! The EPF and PSA have been fully rebuilt with a new state of the art Recon Room. It took a while as we were caught up following some leads, more information will be given in the coming weeks.
-Gary
It seems like there could be more to come! Could this be related with the dialog sneak peek from Gary which we received lately? We’ll probably find out in the “coming weeks”.
Alternatively, it could be Field-Ops since those are currently down, and that would be really cool.

CP Rewritten Times: Issue #94 – Paychecks
A new edition of the Club Penguin Rewritten Times has been released, focusing mainly on the Underwater Expedition which has been released but also on paychecks!
For the best experience, I would recommend checking the paper out for yourself online.

This paper reveals:
- Paychecks for jobs such as being a tour guide or EPF agent (400 coins each) will start from March 1st
- New Penguin Mail has been released and the Underwater Expedition has started
- On February 28th, a new Penguin Style and pin will be released

CP Rewritten: Member Badges Added
Something minor but cool was added to Club Penguin Rewritten last night: member badges! These appear on the top left of your playercard.
Whereas on classic Club Penguin, this signified how long you were a paying member for, this just signifies how old your account is.

The star “tier” Here’s how it works: (thanks SeriouslyAPenguin!)
- A plain badge – Less than 3 months old
- One stripe (blue) – 3 months old
- Two stripes (blue and orange) – 6 months old
- Three stripes (blue, orange, and white) – 9 months old
- A star (blue, orange, white and a star) – 12 months old

CP Rewritten: Gary Dialog Sneak Peek
A new sneak peek has been released by the Club Penguin Rewritten team, featuring a dialog from Gary!
This one is a bit different from the previous sneak peek which featured the custom missions to the game, which the team recently said will come eventually but wasn’t a priority.

Old mission sneak peek You’ll notice that the old sneak peek is a bit different to the new one, as the new one seems more like an event dialog rather than a PSA mission dialog.
Here’s the sneak peek which was released.

This could be suggesting that an event involving Gary may take place in the near future, but who knows? Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest news and guides!

CP Rewritten: Space Adventure – Planet Y
A new Stage Play has been released on Club Penguin Rewritten, Space Adventure: Planet “Y”, which has an awesome set and some even more amazing costumes!
The Switchbox 3000 also brings some cool animations, such as controlling a yellow puffle in a spaceship.

Although there’s a bunch of awesome items in the Costume Trunk with this play, including alien costumes and robots, though there aren’t any hidden items or secrets which you can find.
