Island Adventure Party: Festival of Fruit Guide

A tropical adventure has taken over Club Penguin Rewritten until July 4th, the Island Adventure Party: Festival of Fruit! This post will contain a guide to the activities, events, and all the fruity items which can be obtained. 🍍

Rockhopper is visiting for this party, and you can view his tracker here.

Orange text reflects content added to the party after its initial release.

Barrel Search

When you first log in, Rockhopper will greet you and introduce the party, as well as briefly explain the barrel search. This is the main activity of the party, and the main purpose of teams.

When you first log in, you’ll be requested to pick a team. You can’t make this decision. Personally, I’m on Team Captain! There’s a small competition between the two teams, however everyone will receive the same prizes.

Global prizes will be unlocked depending on the total points earned through collecting barrels.

At the Dock, you’ll find a countdown as to when the barrels are released. This is currently very temperamental and is broken for some people, and could be adjusted soon.

Every half an hour, the countdown will reach zero. A barrel of cream soda will then be hidden on the island for ten minutes, which you get points for finding. The timings could be changed, and this is buggy for some people. Once the barrel has been found by a team, it will disappear to another room to be found again.

Update: This has received some tweaks – you can now click the scoreboard for instructions, and barrels are now hidden every 20 minutes. Some offer personal rewards, and there’s also a reward for collecting 40 barrels – learn more.

Update: New items are available. Learn more.

Items

For this party, there’s a catalog of items which you can purchase. This can be accessed from the bottom right corner of your screen in any of the main rooms, such as the Town.

Update: These items have completely changed and now have new secrets. Learn more.

You can click the stem of the Raspberry Costume for the Sour Apple Chair or the top of the Pineapple Headdress for the Fruit Frenzy Background.

There’s also a free item which can be obtained near the Hydro Hopper at the Dock. It’s the Green Safari Hat.

Update: A whole variety of new items are now available! Learn more.

Some items can also be achieved through Global Prizes, but Rockhopper has also brought a lot more! Scroll down to find more about that!

Code

Update: A second code has been released. Learn more.

As an apology for the delay, the team released a code for a Strawberry Outfit which can be received for free.

To redeem this code, on the server selection page, click “Unlock Items Online” on the top right, and then “I’ve got a code”. Enter the code STRAWBERRY1 to receive the item, a background and 500 coins!

Activities

Treasure Hunt has been brought over by Rockhopper, and you can play but also find a guide on playing the game at the Beach.

The main aim is to discover as much treasure as possible, and this can take some luck! My suggestion would be to go every two rows/columns until you see a diamond or gem. This is a multiplayer game where you work with somebody else too!

You can battle it out on the ships accessible from rowboat at the bottom right of the Beach. You can find instructions on the battle at the ships! This is purely for fun.

Will you be Team Captain [yellow] or Team Pirate [red]?

Rockhopper’s ship has also docked for this event! To access the items there, you will need the key. If you’ve not already obtained the key, head to the Book Room and read the “Journal of Captain Rockhopper”. You will find the key on the last page so you can explore all the Migrator!

In the Ship Hold, you’ll then find a variety of items. There is one secret, the Grape Spear, which can be found by clicking the word “Rare”.

Here is his background for this event. It’s called Rockhopper’s Tropical Background.

Thank you to blue_beary13 for pointing out the missing secrets, and thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!

Waddle on!
