CP Rewritten: “Noir Party” Being Considered
The new technology that Club Penguin Rewritten will be adopting allows for a greater variety of parties, including “custom” ones. Interestingly, the team have started confirming ideas which they’re considering, such as the Submarine Party which was also announced to be under consideration for the next party.
It’s now also been revealed that the team are considering a “Noir Party” in the future! The news was revealed by them earlier in the week.
I plan on making a Noir Party with this [room – see below] in the future

They also stated that we could expect to see the room above as part of any such event, which featured at the Marvel Superhero Takeover on classic Club Penguin. Seeing it adapted for another event would be fairly cool.
In regards to what the event could include, the team referred to the idea it could include “detectives”. It’d likely include elements similar to the Ruby and the Red Ruby Stage play.
I should stress that this seems to be a party in the very, very early stages of development, and there’s no guarantee that it’ll happen anytime soon. However, the team clearly are comfortable discussing it, so it definitely appears to be under active consideration!

I must stress that the Marvel Superhero Takeover will never happen on Club Penguin Rewritten – that merely is just the party where the Town pictured in this post was originally from! A Star Wars event will also never occur due to similar reasons.

Hey Torres! I have two things. One: Is Club Penguin Rewritten going to be turning into AS3? From the Noir party picture, I noticed it looked a little like AS3. Also, did you change the website a little? I noticed some scrolling bugs and a new profile picture for new users. Thanks!

Hi! On your first question, assuming you’re referring to the 2013+ art-style, nope – Club Penguin Rewritten has no plans to adopt that! The room shown was actually from 2012, but either way, the team might make some tweaks to it, and it’ll only be for one event anyway! On the second question: hmm, I haven’t made any changes to the website recently, and there shouldn’t be any scrolling bugs. Could you please provide some more information on it if you have any? Thank you! 🙂

List of following mascots that might come for Noir Party: Cadence (this party reminds me of her background), Klutzy (He comes into the Music Jam in other club penguin games), The Penguin Band, DJ Maxx, & maybe Dot? It’s just my possibilities, if you’re interested Torres :3

Hey, so the profile picture bug is just a visual bug (for me) when I put in my email, but the “Leave a reply” bug is still there. For some reason, when I load the post, the comments load perfectly, but where it says “Enter your comment here” under replies, about 5/8 of it is cut off. It’s not really a big deal because once you fit your cursor in the small space, it expands a lot, but I just wanted to let you know. Thank you – I’m experiencing that too. Sadly, for technical reasons, it’s something that’s out of my control to fix! But I appreciate you raising the issue though, I’ll try to file a bug report.

Hey! I haven’t got around to fixing it yet, but I assume the issue is ensuring people are aware that their comment needs to be moderated before it’s shown. That might mean just adding a small message next to the “Post Comment” button; I’ve not decided yet!
