CP Rewritten: Noir Party – Town Sneak Peek
A sneak peek has been released showing the Town during the Noir Party on Club Penguin Rewritten! This won’t show anything too surprising, as the team previously revealed the design which the Town would be based on, and you can view that full image in this post.
However, this sneak peek does convey the “gloomy atmosphere” which will occur around the island. It certainly seems to look very mysterious and nicely fits the tone of the event!
This is the first sneak peek showing a room during the Noir Party, and the event will begin in March! Following yesterday’s post, I also just wanted to add that it has now been confirmed Dot will visit for the event.

Hi! Those are visits which the tracker never picked up. All of them are from ages ago before the new and improved tracker system was adopted last year (which hasn’t missed a visit), but I’ve kept them in the interests of transparency.

Torres for most of ur trackers its intro is like “so that you can obtain a hard/medium/extreme difficulty and obtain”. Word stamp is missing.

Hey, the countdown of the 1st of March meetup doesn’t seem to be working for me. Did it break?

Hi! It should be functioning fine, but it’s an external embed so it might’ve just been fixed recently. Is the issue that it’s just stopped counting down for you?

When I commented, it was showing a bunch of zeroes, as though the meetup had already happened. It’s working now though. (also, I’d caught Rockhopper in the previous meetup, so it didn’t really matter to me personally, I was just worried in case it was broken for everyone, including people who hadn’t met him yet)

Ah, that’s definitely a bug because it should automatically disappear upon refresh after it hits zero. Thanks for letting me know – I’ll keep an eye out to verify it doesn’t happen again! 🙂

The thing is, the one that had passed got to zero and vanished upon refresh, so that one was fine. The first of March one got down to zeroes despite that date having clearly not been reached yet was the problem – that makes me thankful it at least didn’t vanish, otherwise it’d have looked like there weren’t any more meetups scheduled even though there were.

Yep, when the content disappears runs on a different (and clearly more reliable!) clock which I developed rather than the actual countdown, which is something that I’ve just embedded from an external source.

Torres when you sent party guides do you figure all the stuff to do on your own or do you collect information from various other sources?
Also, is the noir Party a custom CPR party or did it happen in the original too?

Hi! The information is collected from various sources in the sense that the team reveals things in different places, but I seek it all myself. In regards to the Noir Party, it never happened on classic Club Penguin so it’s custom! A lot of the rooms might be based on the Marvel Superhero Takeover from classic Club Penguin though.

I always found it interesting that Club Penguin decided to introduce a civilian police force in the Marvel Superhero Takeover of 2012 alongside the secret agencies!

Hi! It’s possible that the Migrator could just be fixed to be consistent with the storyline without any player intervention.

It’s not your device’s fault, no – that is expected! There’s some technological reasons relating to why I don’t have much control over the Comments form, so I can’t put an informative notice about that.
