CP Rewritten: Obtaining the Band Background
It’s possible to once again obtain a background showing the Penguin Band in the earlier years! You don’t need to meet them in order to receive this – all you need to do is press E and T on your keyboard (to perform the toot emote). If you don’t already have the background, you’ll then be offered it!
I should also note that the Penguin Band are visiting with a more modern background, which is new. In order to obtain that one, you will need to meet them! They’ve already begun visiting the island, but they’ll be making plenty more visits throughout the Music Jam.
For the best chance of meeting them, I’d recommend checking the Penguin Band Tracker here.

IS NOTHING GOING TO STAY RARE???!!!!! I am serious,! almost all my rare stuff from 2019 IS COMING BACK I HATE THIS. sometimes, cpr staff, its better for SOME stuff to stay old. but this is so insane!

I believe the team is of the view that anything could return, with the exception of collected pins and party hats.

I cant lie, I kinda liked the old style more. I’m not sure if this is just like… nostalgia or something, but I kind of like the old styles more. That doesn’t mean I won’t keep checking the tracker though!

Hey Torres i really love the penguin band tracker update! i think its much easier to only look at 1 tracker when their online than 4 🙂

Yeah, they’re usually on the same server together, although occasionally they might be in different rooms.

How did people know to press E+T to get the background
Did the team write it on the blog or did someone just figure it out?

The team did do an announcement for it, and I suppose it just spread quickly from there!
