CP Rewritten: Ruby and the Red Ruby Guide (2022 Version)

A new stage play has been released on Club Penguin Rewritten, and it’s a very exciting one with a hidden pin and quite a few other little hidden secrets! Firstly, there is a hidden Square Ruby Pin in the Stage, but to obtain it, you must unlock the safe by completing a puzzle. Below is an image and you must click what is inside the circle in the order of the numbers next to it.

By doing this, the vault will open, which will contain the Square Ruby Pin. It’s worth stressing that this is a different Ruby Pin to the one which was available at this play a couple of years ago, so it’s definitely worth picking this up.

There’s also seven different secrets in the Costume Trunk, which you can see below. These are the Blue Felt Hat, Doorman’s Jacket, Black Zoot Shoes, Blue Zoot Suit, Skinny Blue Tie, Doorman’s Cap and Detective Background.

That’s pretty much all there is hidden for Ruby and the Red Ruby, one of the coolest plays on the island! Be sure to obtain these items and enjoy the room whilst you can! I hope that this guide helped, thank you very much for reading!

Penguin Pirates Quiz
Following several requests, as part of the new Mountains Monday schedule for this year, the fourth week of the month will now always contain a five-question quiz on a topic related to Club Penguin! These are very low-stake and simply intended for a bit of fun, but I hope that you’ll still enjoy them.

Given everything currently going on the island, I thought that a fun theme to pick for this month would be Penguin Pirates, so that’s what this month’s quiz is about!

Club Penguin Rewritten: Pirate Party 2022 – Full Guide
The Pirate Party has begun on Club Penguin Rewritten, and it’s an event filled with duels and spoils! This post will provide a full guide to the event, including how the duelling and crab-battling mechanisms work, and details on obtaining all the available items.
Shellbeard is Confirmed to visit as a mascot for the first time, and you can find his tracker here. Rockhopper is also Likely to visit, and his tracker can be found here.

Rockhopper
Shellbeard
The general storyline to this party is that Shellbeard, a nefarious pirate villain, has arrived on Club Penguin to try and steal the treasure! It appears that he’s managed to sink the Migrator, and he’s also brought a variety of pirate crabs who you can duel against in order to re-claim some of the treasure.
The dialog for this event can be found by clicking the top right of the screen. From here, you can “Collect” a wooden sword at the bottom left of the screen – you’ll need this item in order to participate in duels!

The rules of duels and battles are similar to “Rock, Paper, Scissors”, or Card-Jitsu if you’re more familiar with that:
- High (top) defeats mid (right)
- Mid (right) defeats low (left)
- Low (left) defeats high (top)
In order to instigate a duel, you simply need to wear a sword (which will be in your inventory as a Hand item) and dance by pressing D on your keyboard. You can also join a duel instigated by someone else by waddling next to them and dancing with a sword equipped. From there, press whichever option you wish to go with!

Step 1: instigate duel
Step 2: pick your strike
Step 3: win or lose!
Winners will earn 20 points, whereas a loss or a draw will get you 10 points. These points help you achieve other swords viewable from the main party dialog. It probably won’t take more than ten minutes to collect all the swords, as these are intended to be quick draws.
At different rooms, also accessible from the “Go there!” button on the party dialog, you can also find treasure chests which offer prompts to duel crabs. These function exactly the same as normal duels against penguins, except you’ll be up against crabs instead, and it may take a couple of tries to defeat them! Once you do, you’ll receive some coins and items, which will automatically be added to your inventory.

Given that there are so many items available through the duel and battling systems, there aren’t any scattered across the island, with the exception of the Toy Sailboat Pin at the bottom of the Beach. However, there’s still much to look forward to as Shellbeard begins visiting the island for the first time! Don’t forget that you can also find the Ship Battle from the sailboat at the bottom right corner of the Beach, where you can fire snowballs with cannons, and the Tree Forts from the Forest.

CP Rewritten: Toy Sailboat Pin Location
A new pin has been hidden on Club Penguin Rewritten! You can find this pin at the bottom of the Beach. It’s located just by the cannon, next to Treasure Hunt, and it’s the Toy Sailboat Pin.

To obtain this pin, click it and then click “Yes”. It will be then be added to your inventory so that you can wear it as well as your stampbook! If someone is blocking it, I would suggest going on an emptier server to obtain it.

CP Rewritten: Pirate Party – Crab Battle Sneak Peek
There’s already been a couple of sneak peeks featuring the Pirate Party, including duels between other penguins, but another type of battle has now been shared by the team! These involve battles with pirate crabs, which it seems that penguins will be able to instigate using some of the treasure chests scattered across the island.

There’s still not an official date on when to expect the Pirate Party, but the team have said that it should be “hopefully very soon” as the team approach the finishing stages of the event. As soon as more information is released about the event though, I’ll be sure to let you know!

CP Rewritten: 5th Anniversary Party – Cake Sneak Peeks
A couple of new sneak peeks have been released by the Club Penguin Rewritten team in regards to the 5th Anniversary Party due to take place next month! Each anniversary event typically has a cake, and this year will be no exception, with the team having released a sneak peek of this year’s cake.
It appears that each layer represents the colours of the Anniversary Hat from the previous four years, which is also a neat addition to the cake!

The other sneak peek is slightly more mysterious, but appears to show some sort of room where the cake has taken up the whole screen, and in the centre of it, the Anniversary Hat appears to be located. It’s possible that this could be similar to the trains at the Holiday Party last month, where you’re able to waddle around the cake layers without the room changing. However, it’s still quite a mystery!

In the meantime, don’t forget that it’s currently possible to influence some of the decorations at the event by voting! Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!

CP Rewritten: 5th Anniversary – Rooms Vote
Some more details have been released about the plans for the 5th Anniversary Party on Club Penguin Rewritten, which the team have already called the “craziest” one yet!
Unlike previous years, the whole island will be decorated, with the exception of minor indoor rooms. However, the decorations will be based on previous parties, with the community being able to vote on their desired preference using the poll system on the official blog post. You can see this below!

As a reminder, the anniversary is marked on 12th February, but the event usually occurs for a few days surrounding that date. Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!

CP Rewritten: Pirate Party – Duels Sneak Peek
A sneak peek has been released of the duel mini-game at the Pirate Party on Club Penguin Rewritten! It appears to be a case of picking which sword strike to use through guesswork, with different options countering your opponent’s choice. However, there’s also some animations for each of the sword strikes!

These duels will allow you to “earn some quick points for quick loot”, which will probably be the “earning swords” aspect of the party that was mentioned in the video trailer. Also, it’s worth noting in this sneak peek that The Black Shell appears to have replaced Rockhopper’s Migrator, which seems a bit peculiar…
