CP Rewritten: Pirate Party Plot Conclusions

    February 3, 2022 /

The Pirate Party has officially ended on Club Penguin Rewritten, with all of the decorations having been removed! However, you might still be curious as to how the plot all tied together, especially given the mysterious footprints which appeared on Shellbeard’s ship.

Rockhopper has written that Shellbeard was tricked into travelling to a different island that doesn’t exist with a fraudulent treasure map. In addition, Rockhopper has been able to set sail from the island safely too; whereas it was previously assumed that the sunk ship at the Beach was the Migrator, it turns out that was actually a decoy!

Alongside that, Gary has confirmed that the footprints which were found on The Black Shell did indeed belong to Herbert. It’s still a bit of a mystery why these randomly appeared, but I imagine that there’ll probably be an event later in the year which fills in some of the loose ends to the plot – perhaps Operation Swarm?

    CP Rewritten: February Clothing Cover

    February 2, 2022 /

The catalog cover for this month’s Penguin Style has been released by the Club Penguin Rewritten team! Based on the cover, it seems quite clear that there’ll be a lot of items themed around puffles within it. I’m sure that will be welcomed given how long they’ve been unavailable for!

It’s not yet known when the catalog will be released, but since clothing catalogs now tend to be updated quite early in the month, I imagine that it’ll probably be fairly soon. Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!

CP Rewritten: Card-Jitsu Gameplay Sneak Peek

    February 2, 2022 /

It’s been several months since a sneak peek was released by the Club Penguin Rewritten team relating to Card-Jitsu! Although the team recently announced that the release had been pushed back to the later stages of this year, it appears that development on the game has picked up once more, as the team have shared a video featuring a full match in the new HTML5 technology.

The video above won’t be how the polished release will be like, as you can probably notice a couple of issues, but it’s really nice to see most parts of Card-Jitsu coming together! It’s also notable that the game should operate more smoothly than it did on the Flash version, with numerous common bugs also being fixed.

CP Rewritten: Mascots for 5th Anniversary Party Confirmed

    February 1, 2022 /

    View Mascot Trackers here

It’s a bit of a tradition for mascots to visit at the Anniversary Party, and this year will be no different! The Club Penguin Rewritten team have, unusually, taken the decision to publish the full list of mascots who will be visiting throughout the event:

    • Aunt Arctic
    • Cadence
    • Gary
    • Rookie

Alongside these mascots, it’s worth noting that PH (Puffle Handler) will also be visiting for the Puffle Party later this month. It’s not yet known which mascots, if any, will have new backgrounds, but it’ll certainly be an exciting few days filled with plenty of visits! Be sure to keep an eye on the Mascot Trackers for their location and any information released about their visits! Thank you very much for reading.

CP Rewritten: 5th Anniversary Party – Rooms Sneak Peeks

    February 1, 2022 /

Happy February! This month will mark five years since Club Penguin Rewritten began, and as a result, the Anniversary Party will be one of the most exciting to be held yet. The team previously unveiled a voting system by which penguins could opt for which rooms they’d like to see return from previous parties, and a couple of these have now been revealed in the latest set of sneak peeks below.

They include the St Patrick’s Day 2017, which will take over the Forest, and the Earth Day 2019 version of the Snow Forts. In addition, the Town will also be decorated entirely, with the puffle balloons intended to mark the return of puffles that will also happen this month.

    Town
    Snow Forts
    Forest
    Cake at Coffee Shop

The final sneak peek is also interesting, as it features part of the cake which will be available at the Coffee Shop. Unlike previous years, it’ll be possible for your penguin to “climb up” the different layers of the cake, which will be a neat new feature.

We are working on a way for you to enter the Anniversary cake and climb up the layers, each year representing our Anniversaries – the top layer being the 5th. Once you’re at the 5th layer, you will be greeted with the brand new hat and also a cool little concert that will be scheduled.

This definitely sounds like it’l be the most exciting Anniversary Party yet, especially because of the new cake concept! Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!

Club Penguin’s Black Puffle Theme Music

    January 31, 2022 /

It’s the first Monday of the month, where a Club Penguin tune is shared here on this blog! Given that puffles will be returning in February, I felt that it’d be appropriate to pick one of the puffle themes from the Puffle Party. This can be quite a tricky task since each domain at the event has its own theme suited to that puffle, but I think the one for the black puffle successfully matches its energy and personality!

It’s most well-known for being the theme for the black puffle at the Puffle Party, but there’s also an interesting paradox about the other places where this soundtrack was used; this is the same track for the Team Blue 2 Stage play, and the Red team’s theme. It seems that both teams on the island are a fan of it!

I hope that you enjoy the tune, and have a wonderful February!

    CP Rewritten: Shellbeard Catalog Released

    January 28, 2022 /

Four new items can be found by visiting Shellbeard’s ship, The Black Shell, which continues to be docked at the Migrator! When you enter the store of the ship, you’ll be able to click the icon at the bottom right to bring up the catalog with the different items. There aren’t any secrets here.

It’s also worth noting that on the right of the room, some footprints have been added leading into the door! Although this room can’t be accessed yet, it appears that these footprints match Herbert, so it’s possible that he could be conspiring with Shellbeard…

CP Rewritten: Pirate Party – Shellbeard Meet-up Times

    January 27, 2022 /

Some scheduled meet-up times have been released by the Club Penguin Rewritten team, which are essentially times when Shellbeard is guaranteed to visit the island, alongside his spontaneous appearances. You can find these all on the tracker, where there’s also a little countdown clock until when the visit will be!

    View Shellbeard meet-up times

Similar to previous meet-up times, the only reason why I’ve decided not to include them here too is because the list of scheduled visits on the tracker will automatically be updated when it has passed, which means that you’ll only see the upcoming ones there!

It’s also worth noting that you can still use the Shellbeard Tracker for these visits, alongside for details about his spontaneous visits where it might be easier to catch him, especially since he’s a new mascot and there’ll be much anticipation for his scheduled meet-ups.

There are seven confirmed scheduled visits for Shellbeard, alongside his spontaneous ones, so there’s plenty of chances to meet him if you haven’t done so already! Good luck!

CP Rewritten: 5th Anniversary – Plaza Sneak Peek

    January 26, 2022 /

A new sneak peek has been released by the Club Penguin Rewritten team regarding the 5th Anniversary Party due to occur next month! This sneak peek shows the Plaza, which will likely be themed around Operation Blackout since that’s currently winning in the vote. In addition, the music from Operation Blackout will be playing in this room.

It’s interesting to note that there’s a “Masc-Bot” in this room, which will probably be linked to the event somehow. However, the specifics aren’t known yet, and that remains a mystery.

It’ll be interesting to see what happens in regards to the “Masc-Bots”, but don’t forget that it isn’t too late to vote for your preferred room! Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!
