CP Rewritten: 5th Anniversary Party – Full Guide
On February 12th, it’ll be five years since Club Penguin Rewritten launched back in 2017! As part of the celebrations, the Anniversary Party has begun on the island. There’ll also be a whole range of mascots visiting, and you can find their trackers below:
The main decorations at each Anniversary Party are based at the Coffee Shop, and this year is no different! Once you head there, you’ll be able to waddle into the cake in order to explore the different layers. At each layer, there’s a little cutout on the wall which you can stand in-front of; if you do this and click the camera, you’ll be able to pick up a new background.

Entering the cake at the Coffee Shop
Picking up a new background The top of the cake is where the most special item has been located though. Once you reach here, you can click the party box at the left of your screen, and then waddle up to the box in order to obtain the exclusive 5th Anniversary Party Hat. This won’t return after the event has ended, so be sure to collect this!

The Iceberg can also be tipped at this event through having lots of penguin drill simultaneously. However, unlike previous years, there’s a new item located at the bottom of the Iceberg: The Pink Tipper Hat. It’s the first time this item has appeared on the island!

You’ve probably also noted that most outdoor rooms have been decorated based on rooms from previous parties, and there’s a little Masc-Bot to give you the details of them! However, it’s also worth noting that you can pick up two items as well:
- Heavy Hat: located in the centre of the Beach, just by the Navigator Bot
- Accordion: located in the Leprechaun House, which can be accessed with the door at the top-right of the Forest

The final thing to note is the “5th Anniversary Item Giveaways” system. In order to access this screen, you simply need to click the new icon at the top right of your screen. You can see all eight of the items which will be obtainable at this event, with one becoming unlocked each day.

That wraps the 5th Anniversary Party, but there’s still plenty of rooms on the island worth exploring, and be sure to keep an eye out for the mascots which will be waddling around throughout this event – the Mascot Trackers should hopefully help you with that too!

Card Jitsu Cards Giveaway (07/02/22)
I’m afraid that, last week, it turns out that I incorrectly posted the “Tunes” part of Mountains Monday instead of a Card-Jitsu cards giveaway. As such, I thought it’d be best to hold the giveaway this week even if the schedule has been a bit off this month, and given the mix-up, there won’t be a challenge to enter!
For today, you can see all the cards below!

They are the following cards:
- The Mine Cave is Safe!
- Stadium
- Community Tree
- April Fools
- Puffle Rescue: Underwater (power card)
The giveaway has now closed! The winner is Super107 – congratulations, and please check your email! If you didn’t win, don’t worry; there’ll always be more chances in the future. [screenshot]

Another Year of Birthday Reflections…
Hi everyone,
Every year, I’ve tended to write a quick post on 6th February just briefly reflecting, since today is my birthday! If you’re interested, you can find last year’s one here. This one technically marks me being an adult, which feels incredibly strange and scary! There’s not really much which I have to say this year, but there’s two thoughts on my mind which I felt were worth sharing.
The first which I wanted to express is sheer gratitude. I’ve never really celebrated birthdays much, but a couple of friends helped make this year’s feel extremely memorable and special. It feels very odd using the term “childhood”, but I really do feel extremely lucky to have had such a fortunate one, with wonderful people and experiences. A lot of that stems from this little penguin world, this blog, and all of you who follow it – thank you!

The other thing which I wanted to say is that, if you were like me when many years younger, you tend to think that you’ll have some idea of what you’ll be doing by the time you reach this stage. Reaching it now, I’ve realised that probably won’t be the case – and that’s okay! This is the year where I officially end school, and I’m still not exactly sure that I have any clue what I’m doing…
Thank you very much to everyone who has stuck around and read this blog, whether you’ve been around for a long time or only briefly! I really appreciate it.

CP Rewritten: Western Party Under Consideration
The Club Penguin Rewritten team have expressed consideration for holding a Western Party at some point this year. Although no development has begun on it yet, they described some of the features which it could include, such as a “Sheriffs v Cowboys” element to the event.
Potential parties for this year [include] a full Western Party, with a cool team feature that includes “Sheriffs and Cowboys”, basically with trains and other things that Cowboys can control with the Sheriffs stopping them – this is in my head, nothing written.
-stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administratorFor those unaware, there was a Western Party mini-event in June 2019 on the island, but this was very small and just restricted to a couple of decorations in four rooms. The intention for this event appears to be that it could involve a full-scale party.

It should be stressed that this event is merely under consideration at the moment, with the team making clear that development hasn’t begun yet. However, it’s interesting to see some of the ideas being considered which could happen over the next year!

CP Rewritten: Card-Jitsu Development “Basically Done”
There’s been a lot of anticipation for Card-Jitsu on Club Penguin Rewritten lately, with the team having recently released a sneak peek showing that development had made significant process. They’ve now given another update, describing the game as in the “polishing” stages.
Card-Jitsu is soon; it’s basically done. It just needs polishing, and with a party to go with it.
-stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administratorThe team also expressed an intention to hold a Card-Jitsu Party to mark the release of the game, which would also need to be developed before everything could be launched. As such, it’s quite unlikely that it’ll be released this month since February revolves around the Puffle Party, but it could certainly be a lot sooner than expected!

CP Rewritten: New Coin “Jobs” Added
As you may know, it’s currently possible to obtain coins by drilling at the Cave Mine. This involves wearing just the Construction Vest and dancing, but you need to move locations every few seconds or re-dance in order to keep earning coins. However, this system has now been extended to the following rooms:
- Pizza Parlor (requires Chef’s Hat and Pizza Apron)
- Coffee Shop (requires Coffee Apron)
- Pet Shop (requires Pet Shop Apron)

Similar to drilling at the Cave Mine, you simply need to wear the apron in the corresponding room, and dancing will earn you some coins! The concept is based on the idea of “tips” for more jobs on the island, so it’s an easy way to earn some coins while talking in different rooms.
