CP Rewritten: 10 Million Milestone – Item Rewards
As you may be aware, the Club Penguin Rewritten team will be celebrating reaching the milestone of ten million registered penguins with items and mascot visits! It’s not known which mascots will visit yet, but the team have suggested that it will include mascots who have been anticipated for a long period of time.
While the details on mascot visits remain mysterious, the team did reveal ten items which will be available through codes. They include items from different events a few years ago. It’s worth noting that the team initially announced there would be a hundred items, so there’s still ninety more items that will be available.

It’s expected that the milestone will be reached by early September, though it could potentially be surpassed by the end of the month. Thank you very much for reading!

CP Rewritten: Wheel to Return at The Fair with Custom Items
The Fair will be occurring in September, and although there haven’t been too many details confirmed yet, the Club Penguin Rewritten team did announce that the wheel spin will be returning. They also stated that the “layout will be like the old ones”, which is a little unclear, but potentially suggests that the Amazement Park present at the event last year won’t return.

Wheel at The Fair in 2019 As part of The Fair, it will be possible to obtain some new custom items! At present, there’s four custom items being developed, including the Pinwheel. A sneak peek of the second custom item was also released, and it turns out to be a boiler! It’s not yet known what the other custom items will be.

CP Rewritten: Island Adventure Party Indefinitely Postponed
The Island Adventure Party, initially scheduled to occur this month, has been indefinitely postponed, with no indication that it will even take place this year. However, the team did state that they planned to return the party eventually, including with “a new look and the beloved barrel mini-game”, in which barrels would be hidden across the island.

The reason is largely as a result of the delays to the Music Jam, which was originally meant to occur last month. The team have decided it would be better to proceed with holding The Fair next month, as internal analytical data indicated that it was more popular within the community. Consequently, in order to prioritise development on that, the team concluded it wasn’t feasible to also hold the Island Adventure Party now.
I understand these sorts of announcements regarding events can be disappointing, but I hope that the clarity regarding the event not occurring this month will help.

CP Rewritten: Music Jam – Daily Rewards Sneak Peek
The Music Jam’s development has almost concluded, the Club Penguin Rewritten team have announced, with an estimated 90% of the event being complete, including most the major rooms. While the event will definitely begin this month, the team have still declined to provide a more precise release date yet.
Although more information regarding the release date was not provided, the team did share a sneak peek of an image which was previously only partly revealed. It shows the dialog from which it will be possible to obtain a new item each day, including the actual items themselves!

This concludes the information which the team planned to announce as mentioned yesterday. As soon as more is revealed, I’ll be sure to let you know!

CP Rewritten: New Information on Music Jam Tomorrow
I’m sure there’s much anticipation for news on the Music Jam, especially following the significant delays, so I just wanted to share this piece of information for those who are still looking forward to it: the Club Penguin Rewritten team have announced that they will “possibly” be providing an update on the event tomorrow, but definitely soon.
You will receive an update [announcement] possibly tomorrow on [the Music Jam]. If that changes, then I will reply with a new date on a blog post.
-stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administratorJust to reassure people, the Music Jam hasn’t been cancelled! However, that same reassurance can’t be made about the Island Adventure Party, which increasingly seems like it’s been discreetly scrapped. It’s not yet known what exactly the new information will be though, but hopefully it’ll be good news, and potentially provide some indication as to when the event will begin.

CP Rewritten: Sled Racing to Return Soon
The Club Penguin Rewritten team have re-iterated once more that Sled Racing will be released soon, while providing a new sneak peek of the game functioning in the new HTML5 technology.
Unfortunately, they also stated that the leaderboard will “probably” be released at a later point instead of when the game initially returns. They also suggested it might be possible to create new custom tracks eventually, as this was an update which was considered in the past, but it’s unlikely these will appear immediately.

In truth, this news has been told for months; it was in February that the team announced that server-side development for the game was complete, and they regularly stated that the game would be launched in coming months. Given all this and the lack of timeframe provided, it’s still not necessarily clear when the game will actually return. However, as soon as there’s some more definitive information, I’ll be sure to let you know!

CP Rewritten: Pinwheel Item Sneak Peek
Last night, the Club Penguin Rewritten team’s custom modeller, August Renders, hosted a livestream event where he showcased an item which was being developed. That item was the Pinwheel, which will soon be a hand item.
For those who aren’t aware, a pinwheel is basically a toy which spins when blown upon by an individual or the wind. It’s effectively some paper or plastic attached to an axel, so it’s very simple, but I still remember having one when I was younger! You can find the sneak peek below.

It’s not known when the item will be released, but it looks like something which would be suitable for The Fair, so it could be around then. Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!

CP Rewritten: Uncertainty of Island Adventure Party’s Status
For a little while, there’s been some confusion as to whether the Island Adventure Party will still be taking place this year. It was announced two months ago, but the original plan was for it to occur in August. This is problematic because the Music Jam has been delayed quite significantly, meaning the event schedule has been heavily disrupted.
Unfortunately, it seems that the team aren’t willing to reveal what the plans are for this event yet. When asked to explicitly confirm that the event would be going ahead, the team chose to neither confirm nor deny, but did state that more information would be revealed “soon”.
More news will be shared soon on how we will be doing with parties to keep up with The Fair.
-stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administrator
Interestingly though, they did confirm the themes for the upcoming Penguin Style. Generally with events such as the Island Adventure Party, there’s an expectation for clothing themed around pirates, explorers, and other characters associated with that event. However, it seems that the catalog will only contain “casual clothing”, potentially reflecting the uncertainty of the Island Adventure Party’s status.
August Penguin Style will have casual clothing. September one will have Fair clothing.
-stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administratorAs soon as some more definitive information is revealed, I’ll be sure to let you know! However, I recognise that this has been a common question lately so I hope this provides a little more insight in regards to the team’s plans.

CP Rewritten: Music Jam – Cove Sneak Peek
Intended to provide some reassurance that the Music Jam is still actively being developed following its delay, the Club Penguin Rewritten team have released a sneak peek which shows the Cove at the event! It contains the same design as last year, which was a popular one because of how pretty it is, but the sky has been updated to be consistent with the rest of the island.
You can see this sneak peek below!

Unfortunately, it’s not known yet when the Music Jam will be available to play. Once it has released, the team will be revealing some more details about The Fair (the party planned for September) alongside the upcoming Penguin Style, so hopefully that’ll be soon.
