Club Penguin Island – 1.7 Update (Island Central & Halloween)
The Club Penguin Island 1.7 update has been released for many, containing a new area, party and mini-game along with other small improvements!
This post will be fully sharing what’s in this new update and be a guide for the Halloween Party!
The largest selling point of this new update is a brand new area: Island Central. It is a spectacular new area though a lot smaller than many expected, but this is due to the at least three rooms which have not opened up yet. Currently, the only store open is just another Disney Store.
A new mini-game has been released! The concept is that you need to memorise the notes which appear on the screen and then tap them out of the three options. Though it’s not too difficult, it’s a pretty cool game and definitely exceeded my expectations!
Franky’s Pizza is a lot smaller than originally expected but it does contain two new varieties of pizza! On the topic of Party Supplies, party games have had their prices reduced and Marble Hunt is back! Also, fishing now rewards you with 5XP for a random mascot.
There’s also a little Halloween Pumpkin Supply which you take candy from and put in your beak.
The other huge part of this update is the Halloween Event! The entire island is decorated with some night skies and other spooky items. When you log on, you will also receive 3 emojis, 3 fabrics and 3 decals.
There’s also a little activity to achieve some rewards, which some are also available for non-members. These are the rewards on offer., but they need to be unlocked!
These are the steps to earn these items!
- Enter the Island Central area where a cut scene will automatically begin
- Listen to Gary and watch his invention
- Head to the little bat statue on the right side of the area. A timer will count down, so try and gather some friends before it hits zero!
- When the pumpkins appear, start throwing snowballs at them. Eventually, you’ll knock over all the pumpkins but you have to do it within a time limit, similar to Crate & Co!
- You’ll earn some coins, but then you’ll need to listen to Gary again and watch the machine
- Keep battling the ghosts again until the meter fills up, which may take a while, but then you can claim your reward!
That pretty much concludes the contents of this update! However, there is one more thing I’d like to share with you. We already know some rather exciting content is coming, such as igloos, but the team also included this in the new Island Central area. It seems familiar from classic Club Penguin because it is a puffle. Is this the Puffle Forest?
I would like to give some further thoughts on it. This update disappoints me due to the lack of new levels and general lack of incentive to play. As a max-level player, I have no reason to log on everyday or pay for membership.
Island Central looks beautiful, but with so many shops closed, all it really is are a few more seats, a Dance Game (which is really cool) and some new gear. That doesn’t make me too happy, simply because of there being no new levels, which would have made a huge (positive difference).
Other than that, I hope you will enjoy the update! Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest news and guides! Waddle on!

CP Island: Team Dance Battle – Island Central
Cadence and a new mini-game will be arriving at the new Island Central area on the 1.7 Club Penguin Island update later next week! The team shared a sneak peek on the new game here.Â
In the post, they reveal some small details about the new mini-game, including that up to 10 people can be part of a team and there are two teams. On-screen commands will appear on the screen and you simply have to click the button, similar to Dance Contest!
My only concern is that this might be fairly simple, especially since there are only three buttons. Also, without there being new levels, there isn’t really much incentive for max-level players such as myself to play this mini-game or really the new update at all. I’m still hoping that eventually the team will start to include new levels in every update.
That’s all the information revealed in this post, thank you very much for reading! Be sure to check back for more of the latest news and guides!

CP Island: Halloween Area Designs & Island Central Pictures
This logo is not for Club Penguin Island* This week’s sneak peek contains a whole load of photos on the Halloween Event next month, as well as a massive photo of the Island Central area that we’ve not seen yet!
It confirms he return of the dark and spooky sky, as well as some other decorations, and mascot redesigns. The event starts when the 1.7 update is released, which will likely be in ten days, and will probably be the biggest event so far!
We start with a huge look of Island Central in 1.7, with Franky’s on the right and the mosaic on the left. For the first time, it seems clear that there will be another Disney Store (possibly for furniture) and we get a look at some of these busking stations. Igloos will still be under construction.
There is also water and what appears to be a canal, which to me, is the most beautiful part of this area! The timer suggests some sort of mini-game with this area, and Gary being on the far left does open up the possibility of Gary’s Adventures in the future!
The image above also seems to show some Halloween themed blueprints and some sort of mysterious portal. We do know that non-members will receive an item in this event though! Those were the main things which are new in the Island Central area!
The image above of Beacon Boardwalk demonstrates some more of the spooky designs, but to me, the Full Moon in green looks slightly weirder than the one on classic Club Penguin? I love the Jack’o Lanterns though and I think they’re a great way to bring light to the island! The Migrator also looks spooky, and Rockhopper’s vampire redesign does look awesome!
The last picture shows Mt. Blizzard’s climbing wall illuminated, as well as the spooky shadows and the sky in the background! Once again, I don’t really like the shade of the sky and it seems like there’s water, except the colour has been changed, but I do appreciate the effort to bring back the dark sky!
Overall, this event seems to have succeeded my expectations! The next question is how long will this event last for, but I’m just really excited to see the Halloween Party and Island Central area in-game. Be sure to check back for more of the latest news and guides, thank you for reading!

CP Island: Artwork For Island Central Sneak Peek
A new Club Penguin Island post has been published, containing this weeks sneak peek on Island Central. Specifically, the artwork for the new area coming next month and how the team plan for it to be “brought to life”!
The first thing that was shared was the new mural. It represents community unity, and it will be released in the same month as the Unity Day and Bully Prevention Month! In it are four penguins all having a joyful time on the island!
“No matter what threatens the island, the community will stand together.” I do feel that an opportunity was missed to hold a competition to be featured here, but the idea and meaning of the image on the wall is quite special and I’m pleased for it to be added to Club Penguin Island!
The other addition that represents the community is the “Friendship Mosaic”, which may look familiar to you! It was present at the Waddle on Party on classic Club Penguin as a mosaic as well as a pin, and I also did a few giveaways for a badge of the image!
“A celebration of the penguin community’s kindness and acceptance” Along with some screenshots of in-game content, we also got some “concept” art of the new collectibiles that will be present on the island. This first one is the Flour Flower, containing an important ingredient for Franky’s Pizza!
The next collectible is the Wind Chime, which will float through the air in the new area. They look really neat, and it’s interesting to see a new method for obtaining collectibiles. Both of these will be exchangeable for coins at the Exchange in Beacon Boardwalk.
The final sneak peek is a “busking station”. These will be scattered around the Island Central area and members will be able to play the Spruce Guitar, Tambourine and the Bongos!
Whilst those are all the images posted this week, I was a little curious to try and bring the new area to life myself! I’ve compiled a single photo of what the area could look like, having used all of the sneak peeks that have been posted so far! Here’s an unblurred version and the area is looking really nice so far! It’s slightly disappointing though that even after a long wait for this, a lot of the area will not be available to explore at release.
That’s all for this week’s sneak peek, a new one will be released next week! If you’re looking for more sneak peeks and other leaks on the new Island Central area, click here! Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest news and guides!

Club Penguin Island – Huge Igloo & 1.7 Leaks
I’ve received a whole load of information about the Club Penguin Island 1.7 update as found in the files and kindly shared with me by MikeyMichael! Today I will be sharing a lot of that information which was found with you! I must stress that almost none of this is official information and could change at any time! Please note that there are big spoilers in this post!

Club Penguin Island: HUGE Igloo Sneak Peeks & Theories
The Club Penguin Island team have posted some HUGE igloo sneak peeks as part two of their look at the new Island Central area, with another part to come. This article covers igloos, and the official post can be read here.
This first image is the tram system that will be used to transport to igloos, but it will be under construction for when the Island Central area first comes out, suggesting that igloos will not be in the 1.7 update!
I’m really hoping for this to be a bit like the limo in the 2013 Hollywood Party, where it has its own special room but you can get off at certain stops! On the top right, we can see a small design of a completed igloo and it looks amazing!
As for where the rails lead, well, we’ve seen a little sneak peek of that already with the rails being visible in the photo below!
The next big revealed thing is the furniture store for everyone to purchase igloo furniture and decorations! The store will be called Igloos & Interior but will not be available when the Island Central area comes out, similar to the tram system. We also can get a clear look at another igloo design on the awesome looking picture on the store!
One other thing to note is the mosaic on the left. It seems identical to the one at the Snow Forts at the Waddle on Party on classic Club Penguin. It’s amazing to see this reference return over to Club Penguin Island, I think that’s a great idea!
As for furniture, the team posted quite a few photos on that too! It appears that furniture will be the first thing available for non-members to buy and that’s an amazing change to come into the game! We also got a little sneak peek of a few furniture items that both non-members and members will receive!
Cannon Trampoline Stove Fridge I’m really hoping that there will be a lot more interactive items like this! One thing that this post does do is set the atmosphere for the new Island Central area. We know that it’ll be huge with it being the first “concrete” room, and a fair amount of grass too! We’ve got an idea for the rails, scale and general feeling of the new area which has been painted, and I can imagine it to be awesome! I’m still hoping for a water fountain though…
Next week, a sneak peek will be revealed of the new music-related mini-game that will be coming to the island. I’m pretty sure that this will be the game where Cadence is located. I’d like to give a huge thank you to Yehaw for sharing this picture with me that clearly shows the mini-game!
However, we’ll hear more information on that next week! I also think it’s pretty safe to say that igloos will be coming in the 1.8 update in November, along with the duck tube! I’m super excited for this as it’s looking to be one of the most promising updates on Club Penguin Island so far and it seems like the wait has been worth it!
Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest news about the new Club Penguin Island update. It is rumoured by the files to be released on October 17th but this is not an official release date.

CP Island: Talk Like a Pirate Day – Igloo Sneak Peek
Yesterday was Talk Like a Pirate Day, and unfortunately I’m a day late as I’ve been super busy this week! However, I still wanted to make this article as we got a little sneak peek of the new Island Central area! You can read the official blog post here.
So about that little sneak peek, one of the screenshots in the post was on the new 1.7 version, and we could very clearly see something to do with Island Central. This is rumoured to be the train station!
It appears that in the image above, we can see a new building (or multiple of them) and even some rails. For those who aren’t aware, the team have already shared a sneak peek of something similar to a train, and I’m pretty certain that these trains will be running along that line we can see.
Note the igloo on the the door of the left carriage! The image also appears to contain a clock and we can get an idea of the scale of how big Island Central is going to be – it’s almost as tall as the mountain! That’s definitely the biggest area so far, and I’m really excited!
Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest news surrounding the new Island Central/Town area! Arr!

CP Island: Island Central – Franky’s Pizza
The new City Centre which is coming next month, originally believed to be the Town, has been revealed! The official name has been confirmed to be Island Central area and above we can see a detailed version of what it will look like on the map.
In this post, I thought I’d go through some of the speculation for the new area, starting with the image above. On the left, we see what I assume is the transportation station to igloos, with three unknown buildings being on the right. One looks a lot like the Puffle Hotel, and what’s that building on the far left? These are all mysteries which I suspect will be uncovered within the next month!
The detailed sneak peeks we received today were of Franky’s, the new pizza place which will be coming with the Island Central area. It appears that this will be a sort of in-door like room, and my guess is that a lot of the items here (including seating) will be interactive, which is super cool!
The other thing to note is the music! Franky was a musician, and it appears that he will be coming over to Club Penguin Island, but spicing up his personality a bit with some…pizza? Thank you very much for reading this post, I’d be interested in hearing your thoughts on the new area! You can read the rest of the official post here.
I’m really liking this area so far, and I can’t wait to see more sneak peeks soon! I’m really hoping for some sort of water fountain, mainly because they just look cool, but I’m also hyped to explore what’s around! Be sure to check back for more information regarding Club Penguin Island!
