CP Rewritten: Mascots Galore Begins For 10m Penguins
Club Penguin Rewritten’s registered user count has now surpassed ten million penguins, so a huge range of mascot visits will be occurring now! The team have confirmed the following mascots will appear in celebration.
- Aunt Arctic
- Dot
- Jet Pack Guy
- Penguin Band
- Sensei
The team have also hinted that other mascots will be visiting, but those will be surprises so keep your eyes peeled to the trackers for them!

Sensei already made his first appearance today on the server Crystal, and he’s expected to return, including with potentially a different background. Jet Pack Guy has been hinted to visit with his background from Operation Blackout.
However, for all the latest news on this, I would highly recommend checking the Mascot Trackers as that will contain all the information that you need to hopefully meet them!
Good luck!

CP Rewritten: August Clothing – Further Sneak Peeks
Some more sneak peeks for the Penguin Style this month have been released, and they show three different pages! It was also confirmed that this catalog would contain more custom items than any other previous edition.
In addition to revealing these sneak peeks, the team also revealed that they are considering releasing the catalog before the Music Jam begins, as opposed to the original plan for them to be released at the same time. This is largely due to the lack of progress made with the Music Jam, where there are still two key rooms and UI (user interface) designs needing to be completed.

CP Rewritten: Baseball Pitch Sketch
In May, a little announcement was made by the Club Penguin Rewritten team that they were planning to introduce a baseball pitch to the Stadium. The team have now shared a little update to this idea, in the form of a concept sketch! Since there was never a baseball pitch at the Stadium on the classic game, this has been sketched by Lovebacon56, the game’s artist.

The ambition is that the room will have more interactive features, such as “teams and scores”, when it’s implemented in the future.

CP Rewritten: Consideration Over Introducing Game Day Activities
For the first time, the Club Penguin Rewritten team have expressed their interest in converting the mini-games included in the official Nintendo Wii game and transferring them to HTML5 so that they can be enjoyed on the island.
I would like to announce that I recently started working on adaptation plans to bring Club Penguin: Game Day from the Wii and into Club Penguin Rewritten.
Stu told me he was interested in the idea. Since I am a game designer and critic, I felt like it was important to do some careful planning before such an idea is executed in CPR.
-August Renders, modeller for Club Penguin RewrittenIt should be stressed that this likely is a long-term ambition, particularly since other mini-games have been prioritised. Although August Renders is investigating the idea, the mini-games would likely need to be developed virtually from scratch.
For those who aren’t aware though, Game Day was the Nintendo Wii game that included a variety of different mini-games. The image below gives a brief idea of many games; some might be familiar to you, like Puffle Paddle or Feed a Puffle, while others were a lot more unique!

I have fond memories of these games, so seeing them added to the island would be amazing. However, this proposal has not been explicitly confirmed yet, and there would be huge challenges with making it happen. I still felt it was worth sharing though, as I know many might be keen on this.

CP Rewritten: White Admiral’s Hat to Return this Month
The White Admiral’s Hat will be included in the upcoming edition of the Penguin Style, the Club Penguin Rewritten team have confirmed. Although the catalog won’t be themed around the Island Adventure Party since that has been indefinitely postponed, it will still be hidden as a secret.

It’s been a notably long time since this was last available since that was three years ago, and it’s also a custom item. It’s likely that the Admiral’s Hat, which is essentially the same item but in dark blue, will also be available this month.

CP Rewritten: August Catalog to Release with Music Jam
There’s been a lot of interest in regards to the timing of the next Club Penguin Rewritten update! Although a precise date hasn’t been revealed, the team did announce something which I felt was worth sharing, namely that the Music Jam and the Penguin Style will be released either as part of the same update or with the Music Jam first.
[The Penguin Style] is taking time due to there being custom items. Also working on the Music Jam, once that is out then the Penguin Style will release.
-stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administratorThe end of August is rapidly approaching, and the Music Jam should definitely occur this month, so hopefully there isn’t still too much of a wait!

CP Rewritten: Additional August Clothing Sneak Peeks
Earlier in the week, the Club Penguin Rewritten team released some sneak peeks regarding the Penguin Style edition for this month. They’ve now also shared two more!
The first sneak peek shows the animation for the Basket of Strawberries, which is a custom item that will also be included in the catalog. The team’s modeller, August Renders, shared the plan animation which shows a penguin munching a strawberry taken from the basket.

The second sneak peek shows a page from inside the catalog, and highlights the “casual clothing” which will be available. Interestingly, it appears to be a slightly older art style which the team are experimenting with.

On a separate note, the team also stated that sneak peeks for the Furniture Catalog will be released later in the month.

CP Rewritten: August Clothing Sneak Peeks
The Club Penguin Rewritten team have released two sneak peeks regarding the upcoming edition of the Penguin Style!
In the first sneak peek, which shows the catalog cover, it’s possible to see some of the items which will be included. These seem to include the Flower Basket and the Pink Duffle Coat. It’s worth noting that the artwork style on this cover is slightly different and older compared to usual, but the team are experimenting with something new to see if its popular.

The second sneak peek shows four different hairstyles which have been created. All of these are custom, meaning they haven’t been seen before, but they attempt to help increase representation within the clothing catalog on the island.

Lastly, the team also revealed they’re planning to add an animation to the Strawberry Basket, which should also be released in this edition. It’s still unknown when the catalog will be released, but these are a lot of details so hopefully it’s almost ready!

CP Rewritten: 10 Million Players Celebration – Items Update
As you may be aware, the Club Penguin Rewritten team will be releasing a range of items as codes to celebrate surpassing ten million registered users. Initially, I’ve been reporting that one hundred items would be released, but it’s actually only ten.
The reason for this discrepancy was that the team themselves initially announced a hundred items would be released, but it turns out that they meant to say ten – apparently, the original announcement was mistaken. As a reminder, you can see all the items which will be available below.

It would’ve been exciting to see ninety more items released, though this definitely feels more plausible. Either way, since the team issued a correction, I felt it was worth updating you as I’ve previously been reporting that a hundred items would be released.
