CP Rewritten: New Insanity Stamp Tomorrow

Releasing tomorrow, everyone will be able to play a brand new redesigned Cart Surfer with new modes, exclusive to Club Penguin Rewritten! In fact, there’s even a rumour of a scoreboard!

Along with this, it has been confirmed that the second “Insanity” stamp will also be coming with the update. Insanity stamps are purple, and although there is currently one for Ice Fishing, they are extremely difficult to obtain!

Unlike the only current insanity stamp, this will be skill based, meaning that you’ll need to complete a difficult activity to obtain it instead of just being lucky! Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest news and guides!

CP Rewritten: New, Unknown Features Coming to Cart Surfer

Yesterday, I shared a video which the team posted that shows a new Cart Surfer redesign, exclusive to Club Penguin Rewritten! You can find that post here.

However, there has been a bit more news around this exciting new game redesign, as kindly shared to me by Blewberry02. An administrator, Joee, has revealed that there’s actually a lot more new “features” which are coming that isn’t in the video!

I’m really curious to discover what these could be, and I’m super excited! My guess is that there will be different levels of difficulty and different modes in Cart Surfer. For example, one mode might have obstacles which you need to dodge. Hopefully though, we’ll find out and be able to play it soon!

CP Rewritten: More Plans for EPF/PSA & Field-Ops

Some small pieces of news regarding the Elite Penguin Force and Penguin Secret Agency has been revealed by stu!

Firstly, there are plans for these two agencies on Club Penguin Rewritten, but we’re not quite sure on the specifics yet.

After Operation Blackout ended, there was significant damage to the EPF and PSA headquarters caused by Herbert. This is still visible, however there will soon be some news about the rebuilding of it.

Fortunately, it seems like it won’t take two years, which is how long it took on classic Club Penguin!

Finally, and most excitingly, Field-ops (small EPF missions) might make their return, which is super incredible to me as it’s the thing which I’ve been hoping for the most recently.

The last Field-op was in July, but hopefully we’ll have monthly (or maybe even weekly) missions again soon!

The secret agents are one of my favourite things on the island, so I’m really excited to see what’s coming soon! Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest news and guides!

CP Rewritten: Custom Cart Surfer Redesign & Stamp Coming Soon

A new Cart Surfer redesign will be coming soon, exclusive to Club Penguin Rewritten! The new redesign makes the game seem more like in the Caves, with some really cool lighting effects!

Stu uploaded a video titled “New Rails to Surf” featuring the new redesign of the game, which can be seen from thirteen seconds and onwards.

In case you cannot see the video, the image below is a screenshot of how the new redesign will look like. I really like it, and it looks super fresh!

Last time, Ice Fishing received a custom redesign, however there was also a purple “Insanity Stamp”. For this reason, I am extremely confident that there will be at least one new stamp, however we do have some details on this.

Joee has confirmed that the stamp(s) will not be luck based, meaning we will need to try and complete something to earn it. Whilst a stamp is not confirmed, this message to me makes it seem extremely likely that a stamp(s) are coming.

Whilst a date is not confirmed, my guess would be the 24th of January, as Joee has already revealed that there is some “cool stuff” coming next week yet did not reveal the details and usually, large updates are on a Wednesday.

I’m really excited to play the game and earn the new stamp! Make sure to maximise the use of “X2” bonus whilst you can, incase this stamp turns out to be “Insanity” difficulty. Thank you very much for reading!

CP Rewritten: Scheduled Downtime on Friday

On Friday 19th December, Club Penguin Rewritten will be having another maintenance and as such, it will be unlikely that you can play the game for a few hours to possibly even a day. Currently no timescale has been confirmed!

The downtime is a result of the team purchasing a new server with a stronger firewall to help prevent DDoS attacks, which is basically when people illegally take the game down. As such, whilst the game may be down for a few hours, it hopefully means that the game won’t be offline due to attacks in the future!

CP Rewritten: “Cool Stuff” Coming Next Week

Recently, Joee (an administrator) promised plenty of stuff to make up for the fact that no mascots would be attending the Winter Fiesta.

This was partly promised, with an incredible party and an awesome catalog of items, however upon me asking if anything hasn’t been revealed, it turns out that there’s some more “cool stuff” which we don’t know about coming next week too!

Joee wasn’t able to say what it was though, suggesting that it’s something different than the Great Snow Maze! I’m really curious to what could be coming next week. Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest news and guides!

CP Rewritten Times – Issue #45: Great Snow Maze & Rory

A brand new edition of the Club Penguin Rewritten Times has been published, containing huge information about a new party and possibly even a new mascot!

As always, I would suggest reading the paper online for yourself but I will share the exciting information which was revealed inside this paper!

Firstly, the Great Snow Maze, also known as the Winter Party, will be beginning on January 31st end ending on February 4th. It’s an event which will be held in the Ski Village and has been described as a “grand maze”.

Rory the construction penguin has been seen putting his driving skills to the test

The paper also interestingly says that Rory has been sighted. Rory is a builder who appears in the PSA missions and although having been sighted on the island before, many penguins hope that he will be a new mascot with a new stamp!

Could it be possible that Rory will be the new custom mascot in this event? My guess is that it’d be extremely hard to meet him as the event only lasts four todays, so perhaps it could even be an insanity stamp!

Although this is personally the most exciting news, a lot more about the Winter Fiesta was revealed:

  • The Winter Fiesta starts tomorrow until January 24th
  • It will be, from now on, coming to the island every year!
  • At the Dock, there will be a barbecue
  • The party has been promised to be fun!

A bit of other information was also revealed:

  • A new pin will be hidden tomorrow until January 31st
  • A new Penguin Style catalog will be released on January 31st
  • Sensei has asked “Shall I stay a while”, meaning that he could visit the island again soon!

This paper contains loads of exciting information, which is super cool! Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!

CP Rewritten: Winter Fiesta “Surroundings” Sneak Peek

A very small sneak peek has been released of the Winter Fiesta on Club Penguin Rewritten, which starts in just two days!

The party has been hyped up significantly with there being “plenty of stuff”, including some unexpected content! The screenshot posted by Joee was quite minor, but it was the caption which is the most intriguing!

Look at the penguin’s surroundings. We’ve mixed it up a bit. There’s some new stuff in there.

Honestly, I’m not entirely sure what this could mean! Perhaps it’s a reference to there being rooms from three years worth of Fiestas into just one party! I also don’t see anything too new in the surroundings.

For those interested, this is the closest room that can be found of the sneak peek. It is the Dock from the 2009 Fiesta.

Whilst I’m not sure what the “surroundings” could be, I wanted to share this with you in case you have an idea on what Joee means about the Winter Fiesta! Either way, the party will begin on Wednesday!
