CP Rewritten Times: Issue #156 – PPA Results
A new edition of the Club Penguin Rewritten Times has been released! It provides a little bit of information about future events, but it mainly covers the results of the Penguin Play Awards.
For the best experience, I would recommend reading the paper for yourself online as it always contains a variety of cool things such as artwork, but as always, I will summarise the news revealed.
This paper reveals:
- A new Penguin Style has been released
- On May 7th, a new pin and Furniture Catalog will be released, and the Penguin Play Awards will end
The main story though is that Ruby and the Red Ruby has won a landslide in the Penguin Play Awards, with the Fairy Fables and Underwater Adventure winning one category too.

CP Rewritten: Penguin Band Being “Saved”
During the last Penguin Play Awards, the Penguin Band made regular appearances along with Aunt Arctic. So far, only Aunt Arctic has made visits to the island, so there’s been intense speculation on whether or not the band will join her.
Earlier today, the team addressed this rumour with a very vague answer: “we’re saving them [the Penguin Band]”.
There’s a couple of possibilities on what this could mean, and here’s the two I suspect are most likely:
- The Penguin Band could be visiting at the later stages of the party
- A Music Jam is rapidly approaching, and the Penguin Band could instead visit for that
I felt that was worth sharing though as I know many have been curious about them appearing! Thank you for reading, waddle on!

CP Rewritten: Aunt Arctic Visiting for Play Awards
This is just a super quick post to let you know that Aunt Arctic has made her first appearance for the Penguin Play Awards on the server Zipline, and was tracked by the tracker above. She will definitely return, but I wanted to share her background for those who missed it.
It’s the same as the background from the previous Penguin Play Awards, but it was also accessible by meeting her at the Waddle on Party.
Congratulations if you met her, but don’t worry if you didn’t – there’ll be plenty more visits!

At least mascot has been confirmed by the Club Penguin Rewritten team to appear for the Penguin Play Awards! The team have indicated they will visit this week.
Last year, Aunt Arctic and the Penguin Band visited, so many are suspecting it will be them again, but this hasn’t been confirmed yet!

CP Rewritten: Penguin Play Awards – Limo Sneak Peek
A couple of weeks ago, it was confirmed that the Penguin Play Awards will occur on Club Penguin Rewritten with a “special twist”. Today, that special twist seems to have been announced: the Limo will be appearing!
For those unaware, the Limo first appeared on classic Club Penguin in 2013 during the Hollywood Party, where players could sit in to move rooms. It’s unclear how this implementation will work for the Penguin Play Awards, but it’s still a welcomed surprise to know it’s coming.
The Penguin Play Awards shall be released later today, where you can vote for five stage plays!

CP Rewritten Times: Issue #154 – Earth Day
A new edition of the Club Penguin Rewritten Times has been released! It contains a bit of information related to the upcoming Penguin Play Awards, but it also confirms a “very small” Earth Day event scheduled to begin tomorrow.
For the best experience, I would recommend reading the paper for yourself online as it always contains a variety of cool things such as artwork, but as always, I will summarise the news revealed.
This edition reveals:
- Construction for the Penguin Play Awards begins tomorrow, with the event due to begin on April 23rd. It’ll be similar to the previous one in the sense people will vote for stage plays, but there’ll be a twist of new categories
- An Earth Day event shall begin tomorrow with some decorations, albeit a “very small” amount
- A new pin will be hidden on April 23rd (thanks Trevchris007!)

CP Rewritten Times: Issue #153 – Egg Hunt
There’s not been too much new information recently, but a new edition of the Club Penguin Rewritten Times has been released.
For the best experience, I would recommend reading the paper for yourself online as it always contains a variety of cool things such as artwork, but as always, I will summarise the news revealed.
There wasn’t much new information in this edition, other than the Penguin Play Awards date will be released next week, and will have a “twist” to the previous one. Other than that, a challenging Easter Egg Hunt will be released tomorrow, along with a new pin and Furniture Catalog.

CP Rewritten: Penguin Play Awards in April
The April party on Club Penguin Rewritten has been confirmed as the Penguin Play Awards. For those unaware, it tends to be a voting party for stage plays, but it has several mascots who visit.
The event has occurred in the past before, but it was in February 2018. If you’re curious, you can find a guide here to the party then.
Although I must confess that this party is far from one of my favourites, it will be interesting to see what the Club Penguin Rewritten team are planning for the event. So far, nothing else has been revealed other than the name.

CP Rewritten: Quest for the Golden Puffle Play
The Stage has been updated with a “Closing Soon” sign, and the last ever play is now taking place until Sunday on Club Penguin Rewritten.
The Quest for the Golden Puffle, which was the winning play from the Penguin Play Awards, is now available to watch, along with a new costume trunk!
Along with this, the last edition of the Costume Trunk has been released, filled with lots of very cool costumes! These are mainly related to Ancient Egypt and exploring.
Whilst there are four pages in this catalog, there is also a secret! If you click the golden puffle on the logo of the play, you will be able to purchase the “Crook & Flail” for 300 coins.
This play is really cool, but unfortunately Squidzoid VS Shadow Guy & Gamma Gal will not be returning, as the game will be ending before this could happen. I am glad that the at least one of the winning plays returned though!
