CP Rewritten: Penguin Play Awards – FULL GUIDE

The Penguin Play Awards is currently on Club Penguin Rewritten until February 28th, filled with lots of exciting and awesome costumes, items, decorations and more! This guide will show you where the pin and all the items are located, as well as the secrets in the new catalog!
Multiple mascots are also visiting this event, specifically all of the Penguin Band with a new background and Aunt Arctic!
The first object which can be obtained is the pin in the Coffee Shop, called the Cupcake Pin. It is located on the table next to the green bucket filled with cookies!
The first free item in this party can be found at the Dock next to the Hydro Hopper. This item is the Press Hat and is a cool head item which likely won’t be available for a while after this party!
To obtain it, simply click the box it is in then click “Yes”. It will then be added to your inventory!
To obtain the next few items, head to the Stage, which is the main area for this party! From there, you can waddle into the Backstage, located on the right of this room.
The Backstage is an extremely cool room, with several different animations and decorations! Along with this, it also has two items. You can find these on the right of the entrance and on the bottom left of the room!
The two items which you can obtain for this are the Penguin Play Award and the Video Camera. They also likely won’t be available again for a while, so be sure to pick them up!
If you use the camera, you will also perform a cool action. In order to do this, ensure that you are wearing only the Video Camera, which is a hand item, and then wave by pressing “W” on your keyboard.
However, there are several other really cool costumes! If you head to the Stage, you will be able to find a brand new Costume Trunk with costumes from all the plays part of the awards! There are also several secrets in the catalog, which I would like to thank Larry! for helping me discover!
The first page has one secret, which can be unlocked by clicking the statue in the logo. This will reveal the “Penguin Awards Background”. The total cost for items on this page is 310 coins.
Page two does not have any secrets and all the items on this page cost 2300 coins.
You can unlock the Lobster Costume by clicking the telescope of the submarine in the “Underwater Adventure” logo. The total cost of items on this page is 3200 coins.
Page four does not have any hidden secrets and all the items on this page can be bought for 2650 coins.
Page five is my personal favourite, as the superhero costumes have a very cool effect! There is also a secret on this page. If you click the “VS” in the logo, you will reveal the Squidzoid Costume. You can buy this entire page for 2900 coins!
Lastly, page six contains items for the Quest for the Golden Puffle play. There are no secrets and this page can be bought for 2600 coins!
As such, the total price of the items in this Costume Trunk is 13,960 coins.
In this party, there are five short videos which can be watched at the Stage. These are similar to short trailers for each of the plays part of these awards. These plays are:
- Squidzoid VS Shadow Guy & Gamma Gal
- Ruby and the Ruby
- Quest for the Golden Puffle
- Fairy Fables
- Underwater Adventure
Upon deciding which play you like the most, you can cast your votes in the Plaza. The five categories are for the best:
- Play
- Set
- Music
- Special Effects
- Costumes.
Simply click the boxes for which play you think deserves to win! These are the plays which I voted for and the results will be revealed on the 22nd February.
However, that’s not all for the party! Whilst this covers most of the items and activities, there are still three other rooms with decorations!
The Town has a large banner advertising the Penguin Play Awards, but the Ski Hill has a significant design. It’s mainly a reporting studio!
However, in my opinion, one of the best designed rooms for the party is the Pizza Parlour. This room has been completely redesigned to look a lot more fancy and the design looks extremely cool!
