CP Rewritten: Halloween Party 2019 – FULL GUIDE

The Halloween Party is out now on Club Penguin Rewritten until November 7th, and it’s a beautiful but spooky party! There’s plenty of items and activities to explore, and this guide shall cover them all. 👻

Transforming to a Sled

When you first join the party, you’ll be in the Secret Lab where Gary is just about to conduct an experiment. Like in Frankenstein, this goes wrong and a sled is produced!

Gary and the sled will then run out the room.

You can also transform into a sled by returning to the Book Room and waddling through the passage at the bookshelf. You then need to waddle over to the little table in the centre, then pull the lever. It’s possible to transform back by clicking your playercard.

If twenty sleds are dancing in the same room, the room will transform black and white.

Free Items

The first thing to note is that if you click the gravestone at the top right of your screen, you’ll find a countdown to Halloween. However, you’ll also be able to pick up some free items!

A new item will be available each day.

Also, you can find the pin, which is the Fire Extinguisher pin at the Cove. It’s located just by the entrance, and either way, the Cove is a really well decorated room worth checking out.

The main items are in the Dark Chamber! Head to the Forest and waddle into the “Dark Chamber”. You will find yourself in a gooey area, with a locked door. To open it, you need to solve a puzzle and then press one of the four key combinations.

There are three combinations you need to enter, and you need to watch the colours that come out of the four rocks. Enter those colours into the keyboard in the colour which they appeared.

The answer may vary for everyone else, but this is what I had to enter:

  1. Red, blue, orange, red
  2. Red, orange, blue, red, green
  3. Green, red, orange, blue, red, red

You may want to give it a go as it worked for me, just remember to enter it in the same order! You will then be brought to this room here.

Firstly, you need to pick up a Lantern for free and equip it as your hand item in your inventory. This will allow you to see! Then follow the sign to the right.

You will need to go down, when you reach the bottom, go right, then take the right path up by the way, waddle up there and turn right. That sounds complicated, I’m sorry, but it is quite tricky to explain! There’s two rooms to get through.

However, just as a reminder, you can wear the Dark Vision Goggles for night vision, which makes things a lot easier, as then you can just see the route.

Completing this maze unlocks the Path Finder stamp.

This will bring you to another decorated room, filled with candy and themed around the Ancient Egyptians! You can pick up the Swamp Monster costume in this room.

The Ghost Costume can be found at the Haunted House. To access this, visit the Forest and then go through the “Haunted House” path, then enter that big spooky house. You’ll also be brought here after completing the route above.

The costume is located on the second story of the building.

Trick-or-Treat Stamp

It’s also possible to earn this stamp during the party by visiting 10 Trick-or-Treat igloos! That’s the igloo which has three separate igloos in it.

Remember not to accidentally visit the same igloo twice though!

If you’re unable to do this, don’t worry! I reckon there’ll probably be a Club Penguin Mountains event at some point this Halloween Party by popular request, so this can be earned!

Mascots

Technically, the Anniversary Party is ongoing with this party, so it’s possible any mascot could visit for that. But let’s talk specifically Halloween!

Gary is confirmed to visit for this party, but there is a rumour Herbert could visit. This isn’t confirmed, but it stems from the team posting a picture of Klutzy with the caption “Click click…October 24th” and a pumpkin. Here’s the picture.

In addition, Herbert has written a question in the latest edition of the paper.

It seems reasonable to suggest that as a result, Herbert could be making an appearance, but again, this isn’t confirmed and is purely speculation. Only Gary is confirmed to visit.

Though there’s plenty of amazing decorations to explore, and one can watch Night of the Living Sled, that’s the main guide for this party. On Thursday, a candy hunt will be added, and this guide will be updated.
