Club Penguin Rewritten Retires its Flash Version
Flash Player has been the technology which Club Penguin Rewritten has relied on since it began, however as the year concludes, it’s going to be retired by browsers. As a result, the version of the game which we’re most familiar with has now closed.
I must assure you: this isn’t the end of Club Penguin Rewritten! Although it won’t be possible to play the game for a bit, the data of every single account is being transferred to the new HTML5 client. This is more modern technology, and it’ll be launched and available to play soon.
When it does launch, some aspects will initially be missing, mainly many mini-games and puffles. It’s a priority of the team to re-add them as quickly as possible, but this may take a while.

RIP Flash. It will never be forgotten. I‘ve been online ALL morning, lol. Nice seeing you Torres and hope we can talk soon! Btw the HTML5 looks sick! I can’t wait for it. It was a blast using Flash all these years. Hopefully Flash returns someday as a safe plugin :).

Yep, same! I wasn’t on the last minute of the classic CP since it was really late. But thankfully, I was here this time!
This event marks the end of an era just like Club Penguin’s end did.
When Classic CP ended, one of the most popular MMOs was closed and a community split.
This time, (and the audience is much, much larger), we lost Adobe Flash Player. RIP Flash Player!!!!

I was there too at the Snow Forts when Flash closed down. I was super excited to meet Torres for the first time. I don’t think you can see me though/ I’m Popsicle20 and was blue with a tree costume on.
