CP Rewritten: Plans for Spanish & Portuguese Servers
For a while now, many players have hoped to see Spanish and Portuguese servers on Club Penguin Rewritten! Previously, the team stated that they’d love to do this, but it’d be difficult to achieve; a new language involves translating all the assets, as well as introducing moderation for those servers. However, that has changed! The team have now confirmed that they are intending to introduce Spanish and Portuguese servers.
We are excited to now confirm to you all we plan on translating the client to Spanish and Portuguese in the near future. We’ve been hearing you all during your days on Club Penguin Rewritten and we are now fully listening for this brand new chapter of ours.
Once our client has been translated, it is important to note that those on different languages will be on their own servers and will not be connecting to other languages.

It should be stressed that it’s unlikely these new languages will be introduced anytime soon; there’s still a lot of work that goes into getting servers with a new language ready for release, and the team have already made clear that their priority is releasing the HTML5 English version. However, it’s definitely something that many penguins might look forward to in the months ahead!

I’m sure it’ll be possible in the future, but these two languages have been prioritised because they’re more popular.

thats cool but im wodering if they will add new servers or change the ones that already exist and if mascots will visit on this servers

Hmm, this concept can really be amazing! I wonder how Mascots can visit into these servers, or if you go on the spanish and type english, will it translate into spanish???

I don’t think you’ll end up in a situation where there’ll be an automatic translation service; it’ll probably be designed for people fluent.

Do you think it is gonna work like another CPPS?
Here’s what I mean: for example:
Blizzard and Sleet would be english.
Crystal and Permafrost would be Portuguese.
Snow Avalanche and Marchmallow would be Spanish.
Do you think it will work like that?
