Club Penguin Rewritten Returns in HTML5!
It’s been a fairly long wait of three weeks, but Club Penguin Rewritten has returned with its brand new HTML5 client! It might initially feel a little different since the game now uses a completely different technology, but the main elements are all here.
It’s worth noting that this is still a beta; the team are working on fixing various bugs, and re-introducing different mini-games remains a priority. The game will probably still take some time to get used to!
I’ll be sure to keep you updated with any new information as it’s released, but please don’t be surprised by any bugs which you encounter as this is a beta!

Club Penguin isn’t back, and it will never be. Club Penguin Rewritten is just a fan-made recreation of Club Penguin that focuses on the game’s older style. I personally think you should keep that in mind while playing it.

Does anyone remember when I commented to Torres to ask if I would be able to only have to click my penguin to login when HTML5 was on CPR and Torres said probably not? Well, luckily for me, Torres you were wrong, and now I can login easier, I think my Chromebook was meant to be HTML5, and that was why.

Yeah, Igloo Locations appear to be bugged but are being worked on.

Yes! Puffles haven’t been added yet, but they will be eventually.

I have seen a few penguins walking puffles. Why do they get puffles and not everyone else?

They’re only walking Flare, not their own puffle.

The ability for players who were walking puffles just before the transition period began to continue walking them is going to be removed soon, from my understanding.

i managed to log in, and when i tryed to enter the pizza parlor, it just said loading and loading for whole minutes. so i had to reload the page. and when i wanted to relog in to my account, it said, that
this penguin is already online. but obviously im not. so now i cant log in again… any suggestions?Psix Pengy
That EXACT same thing happened to me. I tried to get into the pet shop, it wouldn’t load so I refreshed, and it said my penguin was already online. It’s fine now.

That is a bug – sorry! I believe the team are working on it.

I’m having trouble logging in, at first I could log in just fine and connect to the game but as soon as the room loaded I got disconnected. And now I can’t log in at all past the loading in the server screen e.g. “Joining Ascent”

Ascent is a server that seems to be particularly troublesome to get into. Abominable worked much quicker and more reliably for me. Just, putting that out there for anyone having difficulties at the ‘connecting to a server’ stage, a different server might work out better.
