Club Penguin Island: HUGE 1.8 & Igloo Leaks
A huge amount of unofficial information regarding igloos and so much more has been uncovered and kindly shared by MikeyMichael and MrKcyre, and all of it will be coming in the 1.8 update!
Though most of this information is unofficial and not confirmed, they are from files which have been accurate in every update so far! Please make sure to keep this in mind whilst reading this post!
Igloos
There will be at least eight igloo structures, most of which will be exclusive to members!
- Modular Home (Small) – 100 coins – For everyone
- Modular Home (Medium) – 125 coins – For everyone
- Modular Home Large – 200 coins
- Beach Shack – 100 coins
- Space Bunker – 200 coins
- Shop (Small) -125 coins
- Shop (Medium) – 175 coins
- Shop (Large) – 250 coins
These seem really cool, and I’m really curious to see how the Shop will work! They don’t seem too expensive either, which is cool! There might also be a Forest Igloo, but I am not sure of how much that will cost.
A list of furniture has also been revealed, containing price and names of the items! Some of them sound really cool, but it’s a long list and there are no images, so I’ll just allow you to take a look if you would like at these images containing the furniture names!
Members will also be able to play certain music tracks in their igloo! There will also be five variations of lighting for our igloos!- Default

New Items
There will be seven new emojis that can be unlocked in the 1.8 update!

Holiday Fireworks 
Fluff Cake There will also be new Party Supplies in this update! The team posted images of two of them, but there will be a Holiday Party Blaster, Candy Cane and Fluff Cake Tray as well! As for the Holiday Party itself, it will indeed be bigger than the Halloween Party with up to seven cutscenes!
There will also be a new collectible called the Crystal Snowflake.
Goat Decal Along with that, there will be new decals!

Along with this, there will also be a reward for those who test the Desktop Version of Club Penguin Island, up until February 28th. Descendants 2 will also be coming in the 1.9 update!
So when does the 1.8 update come out? Whilst the only official information is late November or early December, the files suggest that the update will come out November 28th but this is not confirmed. Overall, I am really excited for the update, especially for igloos, but am still quite disappointed there will be no new levels!

Club Penguin Island: Desktop Version & Concept Wall
Some huge news has been released today regarding a PC & Mac version of Club Penguin Island which has been confirmed to be coming next month, and there will also be an open beta for everyone to help discover bugs!
This is some huge news. Some other details released are that it will be a downloadable app (not a browser game) and that both mobile and desktop players will be able to play together! Also, your accounts will be linked so it does not matter which device you use!
From the image above, we can get a small feel as to how the desktop version will be like! We will be able to use our mouse or keys to move our penguin! However, not much else is known about desktop so far. We did get this picture though and it looks like the Desktop “Welcome Screen”.
Desktop is a huge addition to the game! Whilst my computer is unlikely to support it and I will still be playing on mobile, it means that there will be hopefully a lot more players to play with! That’s not all coming in the 1.8 update though.
The team have promised that the Winter Holiday Party will be even better than the Halloween Party! Also, there will be some new Frozen-related items in the Disney Shop. It also seems that “Island Live” will be a new revamp of the current CPI Phone.
There is, however, one huge thing I’d like to mention that isn’t specifically related to the 1.8 update and that is this concept wall here!
There’s a ton of different drawings, including a new shirt on the right and a huge sketch too! On the left, it seems that there are some designs for some epic furniture and for buildings! In fact, one of them even looks like a puffle, and I’ve got a whole post on the Puffle Wilds which you can read here.
There’s also a mysterious sketch of a pylon and what looks to be a new area! The Coffee Shop chair looks to be some new furniture, as well as there being some igloo location sketches!
The team mentioned a newsletter at the end of the video, but this isn’t available to all countries unfortunately. I’ve signed up for it and if I do receive any newsletters, I’ll be sure to post it here though! In the meantime, I’m really hyped for the 1.8 update next month!

CP Island: Puffle Wilds Concept & Cafe
It’s been a while since I’ve caught up with some of the latest Club Penguin Island news, I apologise for this! Please note that all information in this post is unofficial unless stated otherwise.
Today I want to share with you some unofficial pictures and information about future updates. Let’s start with an extremely realistic looking concept of the Puffle Wilds, kindly shared to me by Flippy!
This is a concept that could be for Club Penguin, but it looks to be very much in the Island style, as well as there being interactive items. It looks incredible, even showcasing a design of puffles! This is just an early concept, but we can see an area similar to the Puffle Park and lots of stores!
You might be wondering that this could just be a brilliant fan-art, but there is more proof to suggest a Puffle Forest like the one above! This screenshot below is from the files and kindly provided to me MrKcyre mentions a few buildings, include a puffleForest.
This also suggests it is highly likely a Puffle Forest will come in the future! However, you may be wondering about some of the other items on there! For example, the Cafe. This is likely what the Cafe will seem like, shared to me by MrKcyre. It has the same sort of feel to the buildings in the concept image!
The other building is Rory’s Furniture Sign! It seems that the beloved builder from classic Club Penguin, Rory, will finally be making his return to our new island! This has been rumoured for a while, but now there is even more evidence to suggest this!

CP Island: Big Update News in September
We’ve not received a lot of information regarding key Club Penguin Island features this month (including igloos and puffles) at all, however tigerrkid kindly let me use his screenshot confirming that there will be “big news” in September.
Sgt Sparkles (or Joe) said that “next month is packed with sneak peeks” and hopefully they will be of something big!
Hopefully we will hear about igloos, puffles and the town soon but for now, you check out my post compiling the information community members have discovered in the files!

We will Have to Raise Puffles According to Rockhopper
Rockhopper has been searching for Penglantien riches and has found some on Club Penguin Island directly to our CPI Phone! He reveals some very interesting rumours and mysteries of our island.
Avast, mateys! Since I was a wee pirate I’ve hunted for Penglantian riches. Legend says there be treasures hidden on this very island! Here be some loot I’m looking for:
• A golden fanny pack from a forgotten time. It might not be pirate attire but I bet it’s filled with shiny coins!
• A mossy key. Doesn’t sound interesting, does it, mateys? But I hear the key unlocks a door to a mysterious land!
• An ancient guide to raising puffles. Some say it be a lost chapter from some kind of… island codex?
• A royal scepter, said to be a treasure for the king of Penglantis himself. I bet it be covered in gems!Just last week, I found a shining orb from some awful, noisy beast. I fought the metal monster in the Sea Caves for it… But fear not, buccaneers, it’s all part of being a legendary pirate!
The two things that interest me is the “mossy key”, as that is what was used to open the Hidden Lake in Club Penguin if I remember correctly. Now there’s one hidden on our new island too!
But when puffles come late this year or early next year, it appears we will have to raise them. I’d guess we’d need to discover how to do so in the Island Codex – something that appears in Chapter 2 of Aunt Arctic’s Adventures. That sounds really cool!
I wonder what other mysteries lie on the island…waddle on!

CP Island Puffles AND Igloos Coming Late 2017 or 2018
Despite previously hearing from Megg about puffles coming coming in late 2017 or early 2018, this is also the case with igloos. She revealed the news at the Megg Meet-Up today!
That might seem like a long time and indeed it is, but these two things are some of the biggest parts of classic Club Penguin so I’m guessing they have something huge planned for them when they come to our new island!
We already know that customisable furniture and igloos with new rooms are coming so I wonder what else they have planned! I’m sure that they want to make these perfect which is why they’re taking their time.

Club Penguin Island Puffles to Come Late 2017 or 2018
Megg has informed us that puffles will be making their way to Club Penguin Island “either later this year or early next”. Madzom8ie has kindly allowed me to share an image of her revealing the news.
The wait is quite a lot longer than many expected but puffles are one of the biggest parts of the game so I think they really want to make them perfect! This is pretty much all we’ve heard, though it is rumoured that they will be “fluffy”.

Club Penguin Island Chat Log and Puffles Coming
Megg was very kind to host a small, unannounced meet-up on Club Penguin Island where she added friends and answered a few questions. She confirmed that puffles were coming but the team had to create them from scratch.
Something else she told us was that the chat list would eventually be on Club Penguin Island!

This is excellent news! It’s really hard to keep track of who is saying what and the game is still only in beta! The speech bubble can also go up quite high which blocks speech behind it, if that makes sense!

No Puffles in Club Penguin Island at First
Although we were informed by Spike Hike (the former manager of Club Penguin) a few months ago that puffles won’t be at the launch of the new game, many players have forgotten. In fact, I saw some confusion yesterday as to whether or not they will be around.UPDATE: We now know that puffles are coming late 2017 or even in 2018. Read more.
This screenshot posted many moons ago by my friend Flip Flap15 tells us that although puffles won’t be at the launch of the game, they will come eventually! Though quite how long this will be is a mystery.
