CP Island 1.6 Update: Launchpad Outfit Concept
The Club Penguin Island team have shared a sneak peek of an outfit coming in the 1.6 update, the Launchpad outfit.
Please do note that this is a concept and not the final design, so it may change! Although it’s a small sneak peek, the design is really cool! This is the main part of the outfit.
This isn’t all there is though! The team also shared a side view of the head item to complete this outfit!
I presume that this will be part of a new pack along with the new levels coming in the 1.6 update! Be sure to check back for more of the update news regarding to Club Penguin Island. Thank you for reading!

CP Island: 1.6 Update Notes Coming Around 25th & New CM
Much to the disappointment of the Club Penguin Island community, an informative tweet has revealed that the blog post revealing what’s coming in the 1.6 update will be coming around August 25th.
It was also revealed that this will be around the time of which the new Club Penguin Island community manager will be revealed and that they might be doing an Island Insider.

Although it’s exciting to hear that we will get details about the new community manager soon, I’ve seen many players including myself slightly frustrated that the update notes will be out on the 25th, meaning that the actual update will be out even later!The only information we know so far is that Find Four will be coming soon and I assume that will be in this update. However the team have said they will share another sneak peek soon, so be sure to check back for more Club Penguin Island news!

Duck Tales is Coming to CP Island
I’m a few days late on the news but better late than never! In case you haven’t heard, DuckTales will be coming to Club Penguin Island really soon! The Disney Shop will also be getting a temporary redesign to match the theme!
The news was confirmed by the community as the team sent a picture showing the new Disney Shop to a fan-made Twitter account, CPI PIX.
Note the DuckTales hat circled in the picture above I’m personally not a big fan of DuckTales and have never watched it but this is a franchise the community has requested a lot to return and it’s cool to see how the CP Island team gave us this sneak peek!

CP Island: Lighthouse Interior Concepts
Today is National Lighthouse Day and as promised, the Club Penguin Island team have taken some of our concepts of what’s inside the lighthouse and drawn them!
There were some really cool ideas, my one was a hi-tech EPF HQ which is a pretty popular theory for what might be inside the Lighthouse. You can read the full blog post here but these are the cool concepts shared!

Herbert’s sweaters? :O I really like the concept of asking the community for ideas and then actually drawing them! But it gets better too, maybe we will actually be able to go inside the Lighthouse one day? Indoor rooms are confirmed so who knows what is truly hidden there…

Megg Believed to have Left Club Penguin
Our Club Penguin Island community manager, Megg, is believed to have left the team after a tweet from Polo Field was made. Polo is the former community manager of Club Penguin, though many people aren’t certain if this is true. We do however know that Deamama has left.
Guess it's a new day at CP now that Megg and Deamama are both gone. I barely recognize CP these days. 🐯

Megg said she would be on an “epic adventure” after players became suspicious about her no longer making blog posts. Players then became even more suspicious when it turned out she was still in Canada and I think many of us would like some reassurance of Megg still being around.
On a slightly more positive note, Deamama left a really beautiful post and a message before leaving. You can read her farewell letter here.

The Problems with Club Penguin Island
On March 29th 2017, after a journey that lasted over a decade, the web version of Club Penguin was closed down in favour of Club Penguin Island, a decision that backfired quickly with the new mobile version receiving a significant amount of “hate” and criticism, obtaining a rating of less than three stars.
However, many people do still enjoy the game, citing that going mobile only is beneficial in the long run. In this post, I will be discussing my opinion (as well of the opinions of others) about the issues with Club Penguin Island and the impact which Club Penguin Rewritten is making on the official franchise.

CP Island 2nd Real Life Event Revealed
The Disney Parks Twitter account has announced that Club Penguin Island will be taking place at Disney and will run alongside the in-game event on July 29th!

Guests visiting Disney’s Blizzard Beach on July 29 will have the chance to participate in lots of Club Penguin Island-themed activities such as a penguin splash competition in the Ski Patrol area, coloring contests, a ‘snowball’ toss with water balloons, and much more!
This is so exciting as it’s the second real life Club Penguin Island event to happen, the first being the Times Square meet-up. I’m really hoping that we’ll get to see some pictures of this event as it sounds cool! I hope anyone attending has fun!

CP Island: Buoy & Area Future Update Sneak Peek
The Club Penguin Island team of something coming near the Lighthouse soon, saying that it will be “VERY fun”. They posted the photo on Twitter and it looks like a buoy, on a tube, with a countdown clock on it. Perhaps this is a new mini-game?
However, whilst this looks exciting, something caught my eye in the corner of this image. There’s a pathway where there usually would be rocks! Is this leading to the Forest, the Town or maybe even a new area which we’ve not been told of? Only time will tell!

CP Island 1.4.1 Update Released
A new update has been released for Club Penguin Island on Android and it couldn’t come at a better time! The lag has now been fixed!
I’d like to give a huge thanks to the team for fixing this as it now means many players, including myself, can finally truly enjoy all of what 1.4 has to offer! Previously, there was such fun content but it was a bad update because you couldn’t actually check out that fun content, so I’m really glad the team has fixed this!
