CP Rewritten: Aunt Arctic’s Penguin Play Awards Background
Earlier today, Aunt Arctic made a special appearance on Club Penguin Rewritten, however is also fortunately confirmed to return again before the Penguin Play Awards ends!
When meeting her, you could obtain a new background themed around the Penguin Play Awards! Whilst I mentioned this in my previous post, I decided to share the actual design of the background, which looks really cool! This is how the background looks like.
Along with this, NoFriends kindly allowed me to publish how the background looks like when there is a penguin in-front of it! It looks incredibly cool, and hopefully there will be plenty more chances to obtain it!

CP Rewritten: Aunt Arctic Confirmed to Log on Again
Aunt Arctic visited the server Blizzard on Club Penguin Rewritten for just under an hour earlier today, but unfortunately many penguins, including myself, were not able to meet her.
The good news is that the administrator Joee has confirmed that Aunt Arctic will return this month before the Penguin Play Awards ends. Today is also the day the 50th edition of the Club Penguin Rewritten Times will be published, so it is also fairly possible she may visit today again (not confirmed).
Aunt Arctic was also visiting with a new Penguin Play Awards themed background, so I am extremely hopeful to meet her again! You can find a manual tracker to increase your chances of meeting her here.

CP Rewritten: Rory Planned for “Future Stuff”
Despite being a mascot visiting for the Elite Penguin Force re-construction, Rory has been confirmed by the administrator Joee not to be visiting the Penguin Play Awards.
It’s unclear if that means he will not be visiting until the party ends or if he could visit this month, but just not because of the party. Alternatively, this could suggest that he might not visit at all this February.
Whilst the information given by different staff members is confusing, the good news is that Rory is planned for “some future stuff”. Many penguins are very excited to meet him, so hopefully we can see him on the island soon!
As a result, the likeliness of visiting on the Rory Tracker has been moved from “Likely” to “Possible”. I apologise for the confusion regarding this, however the information given by staff has been quite contradictory.

CP Rewritten: Penguin Band Confirmed to Return Soon
Earlier today, all four members of the Penguin Band made a surprise visit on Club Penguin Rewritten, even having an exclusive background!
Many penguins were not able to catch them online, which is unfortunate especially as they are distributing a background exclusive to this party. The good news is that the Band will be making at least one (maybe more) more visit during the Penguin Play Awards!

Along with this, the team has re-enforced that they are ensuring that mascot times are balanced for different timezones! A result of this was today’s visit, which I think was fair as there will likely be visits at other times too!

CP Rewritten: Cupcake Pin Location – February 2018
A new pin has been hidden on Club Penguin Rewritten until February 28th! As always, I will help you to find its location so you can collect it!
This pin is the Cupcake and it is located in the Coffee Shop. You can find it on the counter, on the right of the green bowl which is used to store cookies.
To obtain this pin, click it and then click “Yes”. It will be then be added to your inventory so that you can wear it as well as your stampbook!

CP Rewritten: Aunt Arctic to Make a “Special Appearance”

Aunt Arctic is already likely to be visiting Club Penguin Rewritten this month after the newspaper revealed that the Penguin Play Awards would be the “event to leave the office for”, however there is now even more reason to suggest Aunt Arctic is confirmed to visit!
On the official Twitter account, the team stated that they have heard “Aunt Arctic might have a special appearance”, once again confirming that she will be visiting this month.
An administrator also directly confirmed the news.

Along with this, the edition #46 newspaper also makes it seem likely that Aunt Arctic would be visiting with this paragraph, however the latest tweet confirms this.
I also wish to say that previously, we reported that a moderator said that Aunt Arctic would have a “special background” for the event. This was true, however the moderator has said she was “trolling” and as such, it is not confirmed if Aunt Arctic will have a new background. However, Flippy kindly apologised on behalf of the team for this confusion.

CP Rewritten: Penguin Play Awards – FULL GUIDE
This party has ended
The Penguin Play Awards is currently on Club Penguin Rewritten until February 28th, filled with lots of exciting and awesome costumes, items, decorations and more! This guide will show you where the pin and all the items are located, as well as the secrets in the new catalog!
Multiple mascots are also visiting this event, specifically all of the Penguin Band with a new background and Aunt Arctic!

CP Rewritten: Redesigned Activation Email Coming Soon
Upon creating an account on Club Penguin Rewritten, you need to active the account by clicking a link sent to your email.
A small but cool change revealed today is that this email will be getting a fancy redesign and a new layout very soon! Hagrid, an administrator, posted the image below as a sneak peek of the upcoming design.
This looks really cool and a lot more professional! Another thing which I would like to quickly mention is that beta accounts for the game need to be reactivated today. This is purely for extra security and there is nothing to worry about!

CP Rewritten Times – Issue #49: Award Nominees
A new edition of the Club Penguin Rewritten Times has been released, containing details about the stage plays which have been nominated for the Penguin Play Awards, a review of the Anniversary Party and dates for upcoming content!
For the best experience, I would suggest reading the paper online but I will try and summarise all the new information revealed in the paper!
This edition of the paper revealed the top 5 stage play nominations:
- Squidzoid VS Shadow Guy & Gamma Gal
- Ruby and the Ruby
- Quest for the Golden Puffle
- Fairy Fables
- Underwater Adventure
We will be able to vote for our favourite plays as part of the Penguin Play Awards later today! The paper also revealed that:
- A new pin will be hidden later today until February 28th
- The Winning Plays will be announced at the Stage on February 21st
- A new Snow & Sports catalog will be released on February 21st at the Stadium
- A new Penguin Style and postcard selection will be released on February 28th
- On February 28th, the Penguin Play Awards will end

CP Rewritten: Sensei Visits – 13/02/18

In celebration of Club Penguin Rewritten turning one year old, Sensei made a visit at around 11:25am (PST) on the server Zipline!
The meet-up lasted just over an hour, where Sensei gave some ninjas a bit of training and played a few simple games and also explored the island! He did not have a new background.
Just so you know, this visit was tracked on our Sensei tracker! It is completely possible that another mascot will log on, just like yesterday, so be sure to check the tracker for a chance of meeting one!
