CP Rewritten: Cadence Visits – 12/02/18

As part of the celebrations for the 1st Anniversary, Cadence made a short appearance on the island on the server Ascent! She had an old background and waddled around the Coffee Shop, Town and Dance Club.
The event was fun, so I’m really glad the team brought here online! This mascot was tracked by the tracker, however I just wanted to update you that Cadence logged on!

CP Rewritten: Glowing Grid Jacket Code
In celebration of the 1st Anniversary Party, the Club Penguin Rewritten team have released a code for a very cool item, the Glowing Grid Jacket. The code is ONEYEARUS.
To enter this code, log on and where the server selection page is and click “Unlock Items Online”. Next choose the option “I’ve got a code”. Finally, enter the word “ONEYEARUS” in all capital letters and click enter.
You will then have the jacket added to your account!
This code is temporary and will expire soon, so definitely be sure to redeem it when possible as the item looks incredibly awesome! I’m really glad that the team gave us such a cool item as part of the celebrations for the anniversary!

CP Rewritten: “Lots Planned for Today”
The 1st Anniversary Party has already begun on Club Penguin Rewritten, however it appears that there is a lot more coming!
Joee, an administrator, revealed that there was “lots planned for today”. He said this quite a few hours after the Anniversary Party had been released, so it’s definitely something different to that!
I’m really excited to find out what it could be! The most common predictions so far are that it’s either a code or a mascot(s), which sound extremely reasonable! I am also predicting that mascots will be on the island today, however this isn’t confirmed. Fortunately, we will find out soon though!

CP Rewritten: 1st Anniversary Party – FULL GUIDE
This party has now ended, but the yearbook can still be foundThe 1st Anniversary Party has begun on Club Penguin Rewritten until tomorrow, February 13th! This event is filled with lots of things to collect, from items to stamps, decorations and even a yearbook. In this post, I will be sharing a guide to all of these, as well as the secrets of the party!

CP Rewritten: Anniversary Speakers Party Sneak Peek
The 1st Anniversary Party is just a few hours away on Club Penguin Rewritten, which will celebrate the game turning one year old! There’ll be a yearbook, decorations, a party hat, a cake, mascots and more!
Joee, an administrator, revealed a small sneak peek for the party very recently. It appears to be a picture of two speakers.
Perhaps this could suggest the Night Club could be redecorated too, or maybe it’s the new pin? Whilst it isn’t exactly clear of the relevance to the party, I’m sure we will find out very soon!

CP Rewritten: Mascots Expected to visit the Anniversary
A moderator, Wicked Wickz, has revealed more information about mascots regarding Club Penguin Rewritten! Upon being asked if “mascots are expected to come”, she responded by saying “Yes”.
As such, it seems very likely that in the next three days due to the Anniversary Party, there will be opportunities to meet some different mascots!
Update: Wicked has confirmed to me that the following two paragraphs were not meant to hit anything and doesn’t have any relation to mascots visiting. However, I believe the title of the post is still accurate.
Wicked also said that she would be the mascot, which suggests that the mascot timings have been balanced out to allow different people from all over the world a chance to meet a mascot! This is because Wicked Wickz is Australian, so it is likely a mascot will visit for a suitable time zone for Australia!She also said that the “party would start when she waddles in”. This could be a joke, but I felt like sharing this as it could suggest that a mascot will be visiting immediately at the start of the event, especially since it seems that Wicked will be controlling the mascots. CP Rewritten: Aunt Arctic to Give out a “Special Background”
UPDATE: Confusingly, the moderator in question has declared this announcement to be a joke. I aim to only post credible news, and this news seemed extremely reasonable baring in mind that Aunt Arctic was essentially confirmed by the newspaper to be visiting and many players have been hoping for a new background. I apologise for this issue. Before this, the only time something similar happened was many months ago, and I will aim for it to never happen again. Thank you.
Aunt Arctic will be visiting Club Penguin Rewritten this month for the Penguin Play Awards and possibly (though not confirmed) even the Anniversary Party, which is only a few hours away!

CP Rewritten: Music List for February 2018
As part of the updates released today on Club Penguin Rewritten, some tracks have been adjusted on the Music List which is a list of songs you can choose for your igloo!
There are now some different themed songs, such as some relating to the Penguin Play Awards, as well as some other cool tracks!
You can find the new list whilst editing your igloo! Along with this, a new Better Igloos catalog has also been released. You can find the secrets for that catalog here.

CP Rewritten: Furniture Catalog Secrets – February 2018
A new Better Igloos catalog has been released on Club Penguin Rewritten, filled with lots of award and Stage play themed furniture for the Penguin Play Awards later this month!
In this post, I will be sharing all the secrets/cheats inside the catalog! A blue or red circle represents that a secret is hidden there and the image next to it is the item which you can get by clicking there.
The first page contains three hidden secrets: the Microphone, the Band Stage and the HD TV.
The second page also contains three secrets! These are the Superheroes Stage Poster, a Blue Curtain and the Velvet Rope.
The third and final new page once again contains three secrets. These are the Wooden Crate, the Ticket Booth and the Hot Drink Maker.
In the Better Igloos catalog, there are two new igloos. These are the Cave Igloo for 1500 coins and the Theatre Igloo for 4600 coins! They will likely only stay for a limited time, so be sure to buy them soon, however there isn’t a hidden igloo on this page.

CP Rewritten Times – Issue #48: Anniversary Party
A new edition of the Club Penguin Rewritten Times has been released, containing lots of new information about the Anniversary Party, the Penguin Play Awards and more!
For the best experience, I would suggest reading the paper online but I will try and summarise all the new information revealed in the paper!
This edition of the paper revealed that:
- The 1st Anniversary Party will take place between February 11th and February 13th
- It will take place in the Coffee Shop
- There will be a cake, new music and a special party hat
- Along with this, there will also be a new yearbook which reflects on the events of the past year.

- The Penguin Play Awards will take place from February 14th
- Construction for the event has already begun at the Plaza and at the Stage
- Several places will be decorated, including the Dock, the Plaza, the Ski Hill and the Pizza Parlour
- There will be five categories to vote in, where you can vote for your favourite stage plays. These are: Best Play, Set, Music, Special Effects and Costumes.

- A new pin will be hidden on February 18th
- A new Snow & Sports catalog will be released on 21st February
- A new penguin Style will be released on 28th February
