CP Rewritten: Snow & Sports Catalog – May 2020
The Stadium has returned and a new catalog is available on Club Penguin Rewritten, filled with sporty items for the duration of summer! Typically, these catalogs would contain some hidden items, as the last one contained three.
That is not the case with this edition of the catalog: there are no hidden secrets.

I’d still recommend checking it out though, as it does contain a lot of new items! Thank you for reading, waddle on!

CP Rewritten: Flame Catchin’ Waves Surfboard Hint
I completely understand that the story on most people’s minds right now is Disney’s action against Club Penguin servers. Unfortunately, I don’t have an update right now regarding that story. As soon as one emerges, I’ll be sure to share it.
However, on lighter news, something new has been hinted on Club Penguin Rewritten! With the Music Jam starting next week, construction has begun across the island, with some sand to indicate the beach theme. At the Cove though, there’s something quite familiar.

That surfboard looks really similar to something that, incidentally, was shared when Club Penguin Rewritten originally closed: a custom surfboard for Catchin’ Waves!
It looks really cool, and though this construction doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll be there at the Music Jam, it is a fairly strong hint that it will be. I just thought it was a cool little thing worth sharing.

Club Penguin Rewritten also Being Pursued by Disney
It has widely been speculated that Club Penguin Rewritten has been hit with a takedown notice, following the events earlier today. That has now been confirmed in an image circulating widely around the community.
However, I actually wanted to make this post to clarify a few things about this image. Although it does confirm Club Penguin Rewritten is one of the servers Disney is pursuing, it does not necessarily mean closure – and once again, I should stress, it is being denied by the team that closure is imminent.

Firstly, the recipient is Google, not the site’s hosting service. SuperCPPS similarly stated that they were not contacted by their host either. This does mean that Club Penguin Rewritten might not need to close, especially as resolution is possible to these DMCA requests, though that seems unlikely.
It remains unclear if the team intend to resist the takedown, as SuperCPPS has done, or follow the lead of other private servers and announce closure. I sincerely and profoundly hope it is the former, but only time will tell.
Once again, I will keep people updated as I know this is something concerning many, including myself.

CP Rewritten Times: Issue #158 – Beach Themed Items
A new newspaper has been released on Club Penguin Rewritten! The big story is, unsurprisingly, that the Music Jam has been confirmed for this month, but it provides some details on what to expect later today too!
For the best experience, I would recommend reading the paper for yourself online as it always contains a variety of cool things such as artwork, but as always, I will summarise the news revealed.

This paper reveals:
- The Music Jam starts on May 21st; most of the information is already know, but it was also revealed there’ll be a “few beach-themed party items” available, and the Dubstep Puffle will be involved – though it’s not yet known how
- The Stadium returns later today, replacing the Ice Rink! It’ll also bring a new Snow & Sports catalog
- A new pin will be released on May 21st

CP Rewritten: Music Jam & Mascots Confirmed
It’s been predicted by many for a while, but now it’s officially confirmed: the Music Jam shall be occurring on Club Penguin Rewritten this month, starting from May 21!
In a page dedicated to the party, the team confirmed that Cadence and the Penguin Band will be visiting, but also that the event will “star” DJ Maxx, suggesting he’ll be around too! There’ll also be an “interactive concert”.

Even more excitingly though, some sneak peeks were released featuring rooms from the party! It was revealed that the event will have a “summer-y beach twist”, and this is reflected in the dusk sky and sand shown in the sneak peeks.
It was also confirmed the Backstage will be making a return. As usual, you’ll need the All Access Pass to visit it.
On a completely separate note, you may have noticed that this site has been down a bit today! This is purely for maintenance as I’m working on a new relook, and I can’t wait to show it to you.
