CP Rewritten: Operation Swarm – Device Sneak Peek
It wasn’t planned for there to be anymore sneak peeks for Operation Swarm, but with the possibility of a delay arising, the team have released another image showing something at the event! It’s a little unclear what this depicts, but it appears to be some sort of mind-control device, probably being used by Herbert for his nefarious purposes.
The team also committed to release a code for items and coins should the party not be released today. Hopefully we can still expect Operation Swarm to begin soon though, especially as the sneak peek looks quite exciting – Herbert definitely seems to up to something!

CP Rewritten: Operation Swarm Workings Details
Earlier today, it was suggested that Operation Swarm may not be releasing this month as initially planned. However, as a result of this, the team have shared now a couple of details about the party in order to build up anticipation!
They described in pretty good detail, without spoiling anything, how the party will work in terms of being able to select just one side.
Here’s a little rundown without spoiling (but hyping up) things:
Fighting will give you a chance to take down Herbert, this will lead you through several tasks during the days of the party until it is over.
Giving up, you will experience a unique event which includes another experience for the duration of the party. This is also based on the storyline. You may also somewhat get half of the experience that you will when you are fighting, but only by so much. I would recommend doing both on different accounts.
-stu, Club Penguin RewrittenProbably the most notable piece of information is that there will be several tasks that will last for the duration of the party (a week), and that the experience for siding against Herbert might be diminished though unique.

CP Rewritten: Operation Swarm Release Date Update
It’s the last day of November, and given that Operation Swarm was announced to be releasing this month, many might be expecting the party to begin today! However, I just wanted to share this quick little update: the team have stated that they’re unsure if the party will still be released in November.
We don’t know right now [if the party will be released today]. We’re trying to work our best during these times on this party to get it out for you guys.
Hoping to get it all finalised very soon. It will be worth the wait. I assure you.
-stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administratorI understand that many people will be eagerly awaiting the party’s release, but please remember that this is a uniquely custom event, so it’s understandable that some more time might be needed for the release to be perfect. This doesn’t rule out the event coming today, but given many people may be expecting it, I just wanted to update people with the news.

CP Rewritten: Advent Calendar to Return in December
This won’t be too surprising news as it’s a bit of a tradition, but for those wondering, the Advent Calendar will be returning next month on Club Penguin Rewritten! From when it begins (generally December 14th) until Christmas Day, you can obtain different items from it.
In the past, there’s been a whole variety of things it has offered, from pins to colours! It’s unclear what it’ll contain this month, but the team have already confirmed their intention to release new items in December…some could be contained in the Advent Calendar.
The news was confirmed by the team earlier today, and they confirmed that the slightly obscure timing being experienced with Operation Swarm won’t be repeated in December.
The Holiday Party and the calendar of items will be releasing as normal [not at the end of the month] as it will not be custom.

CP Rewritten: Operation Swarm – Rooms Teaser
So far, there’s just been one sneak peek relating to the rooms part of Operation Swarm, which you can view here. However, both administrators have recently been teasing some of them, setting expectations pretty high.
I think that these rooms [part of Operation Swarm] are some of my favourite we’ve had for a party
-Thorn, Club Penguin Rewritten administratorThe team have declined to provide a sneak peek for them, citing that they’d like to keep them a surprise. However, they did suggest that the feeling within some of them would be familiar to a previous EPF event, but the design will be different.
They also commented that there’d be exciting music at the event!
A lot of these rooms are really cool; it gives a new look to the Operation Blackout [EPF party from 2017] vibes. The music is going to be very sweet too.
-stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administratorThe lack of sneak peeks does make it difficult to know what exactly to expect, but it definitely sounds like something exciting is planned! Operation Swarm will begin this month and last one week.

CP Rewritten: Operation Swarm – Choice of Sides
Last night, the Club Penguin Rewritten team released a sneak peek that showed a prompt which allowed penguins to join either the EPF or Herbert as part of Operation Swarm. This has led many people to wonder if there’ll be two different options during the party.
It’s now been confirmed that will be the case: depending on which side you pick, the content of the party is going to be different.
This decision [of joining Herbert or the EPF] can totally change up how the party [Operation Swarm] can go for you…
-stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administratorIn order to add some more pressure to the decision, it seems that the decision you make will be final, so it’ll be an intense choice!

CP Rewritten: Operation Swarm – Plot Sneak Peek
So far, it’s been a bit of a mystery in regards to what Operation Swarm will involve! However, this latest sneak peek released today by the Club Penguin Rewritten team provides a little insight into the plot of the event.
It appears that the plot revolves around Herbert attempting to control penguins by placing a device within their mind. Interestingly, there appears to be some sort of choice involved too; this was the sneak peek released.
The team have indicated that this could be the final sneak peek as development of the party has almost concluded, and a lot of it is now just “finalising things”. As a reminder though, it’ll be released in November, so there’s only a few more days left to wait!

CP Rewritten: Operation Swarm – Map Sneak Peek
There’s been some silence lately about Operation Swarm, although it’s still scheduled to begin at some point in November. However, the Club Penguin Rewritten team have now confirmed that development is still ongoing, and they’ve even released a second sneak peek!
This new sneak peek focuses on the map for Operation Swarm.
I think there’s two things of interest worth noting:
- It appears the island will still retain dimmer lighting for the event
- There’s a mysterious building at the top left next to the Ski Village – could this be Herbert’s base?
It’ll be interesting to see what’s being planned, especially as Operation Swarm will begin soon! Thank you very much for reading!

CP Rewritten: Next Paper to be Released with Party
It’s been a while since a new edition of the Club Penguin Rewritten Times has been released, and I know there’s been a little curiosity as to when the next edition will be released. Last night, the team confirmed some details so I just wanted to quickly share them.
The next edition will be released when Operation Swarm begins.
We’re focusing on our party [Operation Swarm]. Once that is done, the newspaper will be released.
-stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administratorUnfortunately, there is still no exact date for when Operation Swarm will be released, and there hasn’t been any new information (or sneak peeks) for it lately. All we know is that the party, and therefore the next edition of the paper, will be released at some point this month.
