CP Rewritten: Operation Swarm – Thermometer Sneak Peek
The first sneak peek of a room during Operation Swarm has been released by the Club Penguin Rewritten team! It’s a really small one, and it’s a bit difficult to make out what it depicts or what room is actually being featured. It appears to show some sort of thermometer next to an odd emote.
I don’t recognise this from classic Club Penguin, so it’s likely that it shows something custom. However, we’ll just need to wait and see to find out more; Operation Swarm will be beginning in late November, but it’s cool that development has already begun and sneak peeks are being shared early!
If anymore sneak peeks are released, or if more information becomes known, I’ll be sure to let you know!

CP Rewritten: Pet Shop Update Delayed to Late December
With the Dance Lounge having received an update this week, there’s been quite a bit of curiosity as to when the Pet Shop will be receiving the modernisation that was planned a couple of months ago.
That information has now been confirmed! In late December, the transition to HTML5 will occur, and the new Pet Shop and Puffle Care update will be arriving with this switch.
The new Pet Shop & puffle update will be arriving with the switch to HTML5 in late December.
-Thorn, Club Penguin Rewritten administratorFor those wondering about these two changes, there’s more details in these two posts if you’d like to find out more about the updates which will take place!

CP Rewritten: Operation Swarm Formally Confirmed
It’s been speculated for a couple of days now, but it’s officially been confirmed: Operation Swarm will be occurring on the island this November! There’s still a lot unknown about the event, but here’s a list of currently known information, relevant at the time of writing:
- Operation Swarm will begin in “late November”
- The plot is related to the failures within the communications of the EPF, such as with the Spy Phone (story)
- The party will “have to be completely custom”, meaning it won’t be something we’ve seen before (story)
- Herbert and Klutzy will both be visiting as mascots (story)
- There’ll be a variety of items at the event, including the return of the Ski Patrol Outfit (story)
That may seem like a lot, but there’s still so much unknown about the event! It’s still unclear what exactly Herbert is plotting, and how we’ll be able to stop him. Once more details are made clear though, I’ll be sure to share them!

Club Penguin Rewritten: Great Storm of 2020
Rainfall has begun all over the Club Penguin Rewritten, with many puddles forming, and all the indoor rooms have bright lights on to light up the island! The storm clouds have also made the island look super beautiful at night.
It’s worth noting that this is effectively identical to the Great Storm of 2017, with one exception: a crab, potentially Klutzy, has been sighted dashing around the Town!
There’s also a free item in this party! If you waddle to the Ski Village, you will find an umbrella by the Ski Lodge. Simply click it to obtain the Cosmic Umbrella to keep you dry during this storm!
Overall, the island looks absolutely amazing! Thank you very much for reading!

CP Rewritten: Klutzy Pin Location
A new pin has been hidden on Club Penguin Rewritten until November 26th! You can find this pin at the Dance Lounge above the Night Club. It’s at the bottom left of the room – you effectively just need to click the trash can.
It’s the Klutzy Pin. 🦀
To obtain this pin, click it and then click “Yes”. It will be then be added to your inventory so that you can wear it as well as your stampbook! If someone is blocking it, I would suggest going on an emptier server to obtain it.

CP Rewritten: Dance Lounge Modernisation Completed
As announced by the Club Penguin Rewritten team at the end of October, the Dance Lounge has received a major update! Besides the different room design, there’s also a small arcade mini-game at the top.
The aim is to hit the different colour targets, and although it’s a tiny game, you can still participate with other penguins in the room. Thin Ice and Astro Barrier still remain based here! For those wondering about Bits & Bolts, the team’s position against adding that mini-game to this room hasn’t changed from yesterday, where they ruled it unlikely to be added.
The Pet Shop should soon also be modernised, although that’s currently undergoing a variety of delays. Thank you very much for reading!

CP Rewritten: Bits & Bolts Unlikely to be Added
Ever since the Club Penguin Rewritten team announced their desire to modernise the Dance Lounge, which you can read about here, there’s been some speculation about whether a new mini-game (Bits & Bolts) would be added. This is because the more modern design featured this mini-game on classic Club Penguin.
It appears that the mini-game won’t be added, and almost certainly not at launch. That’s probably going to remain the case unless there’s substantial feedback against it.
I don’t care for Bits and Bolts so [it’s] probably not [going to be added]
-stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administratorFor those unaware, Bits & Bolts was a mini-game on classic Club Penguin that revolved around building robots. In all honesty, it’s not something that I remember very well since it was a less popular game compared to others.
I have seen a lot of speculation about this mini-game following the Dance Lounge announcement though, so I just wanted to share it for those interested!

CP Rewritten: Ski Patrol Outfit to Return during Party
The Snowboard Helmet and the Ski Patrol Outfit will be returning this month to Club Penguin Rewritten! If those items sound familiar, together they constitute the Rescue Squad outfit, which allows penguins to hold a sign when waving. It makes for some fun roleplay activities on the island!
The items won’t be released in the Penguin Style – instead, they’ll be available during the EPF event later in the month. The news was confirmed by stu earlier today.
The image above shows both of these items in action! As a reminder, the Penguins at Work section for this month’s catalog will contain the Fireman’s Outfit, and you find the sneak peek of that here.

CP Rewritten: Mascots Confirmed for November Operation
There was a lot of speculation earlier about whether additional EPF agents, such as Jet Pack Guy, would be visiting for the unnamed event later this month! From today, that has been revealed not to be the case. Instead, it’s been confirmed that only Herbert and Klutzy will visit for the event.
Klutzy is a new mascot, and that requires a new Klutzy tracker! A little downtime was needed to implement this due to the nature of the code, but it’s been launched now, and you can find the Klutzy tracker here.
It works just like any other tracker, and it should show Klutzy’s location whenever he logs onto the island! The only difference now is that some of the information is a bit limited since he hasn’t appeared yet, but I hope that it’ll help when he starts to!
