Club Penguin Rewritten Eclipse – Full Guide
An eclipse has begun on Club Penguin Rewritten, and the island has darkened as a result, with lots of buildings displaying their lights! 🌑
It is very possible, but not confirmed, that Gary could be visiting for this event as you see him when you first log in, and you can view the Gary Tracker here. However, above all, the island is beautifully decorated!
When you log on for the first time, Gary will introduce the event to you:
Salutations, fellow scienti-err, I mean, penguins. My temporal calculations were correct, the Eclipse is here! The island has metamorphosed into an extended period of night time!
Although I fear this may be more than an Eclipse as, you see, the solar rotations of the sun and moon have changed according to my Orbit Scanner 3000! It is fascinating research for myself, however, I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about! Be safe and farewell.

There’s also a free item to obtain at this event! You can find the Eclipse Glasses at the Snow Forts, in a box just next to the Clock Tower & the entrance to the Stadium.
There’s also an obscure green puddle at the Forest, which is likely foreshadowing at the Halloween Party that’ll occur from October 25th to November 1st.

CP Rewritten Times: Issue #76 – Gariwald
A new editions of the Club Penguin Rewritten Times has been released, ahead of the eclipse coming out “late-ish” today!
It’s already confirmed that the Halloween Party will begin on the 25th October, and the Anniversary Party on 22nd October, so not much else was revealed, except for an interesting article on Gariwald.
Gary is wanting us to help find his great uncle Gariwald! Not much is known yet, other than there’ll almost certainly be ghosts (and possibly even the chance to transform into ghosts, but that’s not confirmed) at the Halloween Party. Hopefully, Gariwald might even be a mascot!
Though the paper doesn’t contain too much new information, it does look really cool, so I’d suggest checking it out online. Thank you very much for reading, waddle on!

CP Rewritten: Atmosphere Change Sneak Peek
The Club Penguin Rewritten team have posted a sneak peek about the “mysterious phenomenon” coming tomorrow, also hinting it with these emojis: 🌘 👻 💥
Along with this, they shared this photo of the change in atmosphere! It looks absolutely amazing, and the whole island seems like it’s going to be dark! The team have described it as an “atmosphere change”. I also wonder, what’s that green light on the bottom right?
It’ll be happening tomorrow, and the Halloween Party will begin on October 25th too, which is super exciting! Also, a quick note regarding the Halloween merchandise giveaway: the winner will be announced this evening.

CP Rewritten: Ghoul Detector Likely Releasing Today
The Ghoul Detector will “hopefully” be releasing today on Club Penguin Rewritten, as the team have announced it’s their “goal” to have it available today!
When the catalog released earlier this month, the Penguins at Work section was missing a hand item which allowed for a special action. The team said that they’d add it soon, and it seems it’ll be added later today! This is what the animation looks like.
You may recognise it because the Ghoul Detector 3000 was available last year, so some people are able to perform the animation, but it should hopefully be available for everyone today as it’s a really cool item.

CP Rewritten: Bat Pin Location – October 2018
A new pin has been hidden on Club Penguin Rewritten until October 25th, and it’s themed for Halloween! 🦇
You can find this pin at the Cove on the rock which is on the bottom of your screen, near the water!
To obtain this pin, click it and then click “Yes”. It will be then be added to your inventory so that you can wear it as well as your stampbook! If someone is blocking it, I would suggest going on a less empty server to obtain it!

CP Rewritten: Halloween Themed Postcards Available
A new postcard selection is available on Club Penguin Rewritten, with the most notable being the Halloween themed postcards!
These are the new Featured Postcards for the month, and they cost 10 coins to send.
The other updates today include a new furniture & igloo catalog, a new music selection and a new pin, but new postcards are always a neat addition!

CP Rewritten: Furniture Catalog – October 2018 (Halloween)
A new Better Igloos catalog has been released on Club Penguin Rewritten, filled with lots of spooky furniture items for the Halloween Party later this month!

As always, in this post, I will be sharing all the secrets/cheats inside the catalog! A red circle/orange arrow represents that a secret is hidden there and the image next to it is the item which you can get by clicking there. Thank you to mepisdoe2735 for pointing out the one I missed!
Page one contains four secrets, which are the Cauldron, the Pipe Organ, the Iron Chandelier and the Candelabra!
Page two contains a further three secrets: the Tombstone, the Haunted Mansion Cut-out and the HD TV.
Page three also contains three secrets, which are the Spider Web, the Terrifying Tissue Ghost and the Moving Eye Painting.

CP Rewritten Times: Issue #75 – Mystery Phenomenon
A new edition of the Club Penguin Rewritten Times has been released, containing information on a strange weather sighting by Gary and Halloween!
For the best experience, I would suggest reading the paper for yourself online, but as always, I will try and summarise the news.
This paper confirmed:
- A rare phenomenon will occur on October 18th, and it’s not the Storm as it’s described as happening for the “first time”
- The Club Penguin 13th Anniversary Party begins on October 22nd
- The Halloween Party begins on October 25th
- A new pin is hidden on October 11th

CP Rewritten: Furniture & Igloo Music Sneak Peek
A new sneak peek has been released for the furniture catalog coming tomorrow, along with a piece of igloo music which will be available to select!
