CP Rewritten: Halloween Party Sneak Peeks – Ghosts
A new sneak peek has been released by the Club Penguin Rewritten team in the form of a video, which contains voice acting on lots of sneak peeks!
It’s titled “Save Gariwald”, and is pretty spooky, but it discusses how Gariwald has found the root of paranormal activity! Here’s the video:
It looks very spooky, and the Halloween Party will begin tomorrow, which is super close! I’m very excited, so be sure to check back for more of the latest news and guides.

CP Rewritten: Devcast #2 – Charity Stream
Hi everyone,
Update: It is now too late to donate for a code – over £1845 was raised and the Club Penguin Rewritten team are donating £300 as well, meaning over £2145 was raised, which is amazing!
Devcast is now live, and it’s a special charity stream in which the Club Penguin Rewritten team are raising money for Make a Wish! Screenhog is also a special guest for the stream, and you can watch it here.
Update: The stream has now ended – at the time of the stream ending, £1200 was raised during it, and £300 will be donated by the team, which is awesome! It’s well worth a watch, it was very interesting! You can also donate until 22:30 BST tomorrow (as of the time of writing), but please have a parent do so if you wish to. No news was revealed in it, so there won’t be a highlights post, but a lot of interesting stories were shared. 🙂You can learn about donations here. Please have a parent or guardian donate for you if you wish to do so.
There’ll be a recap of the things confirmed in the stream afterwards, but for now, there’ll be plenty of fun things, so enjoy watching!

CP Rewritten: Exclusive Look at the Treasure Book
The Club Penguin Rewritten team have very kindly offered me the chance to look at and share the items and secrets of the Treasure Book, launching tomorrow!

How to obtain: You need to receive a code – an upcoming way to do that is to donate £5 or more during the Devcast stream or 24 hours afterwards. Please have your parent or guardian donate to do this. Learn more.In case you aren’t aware, though the details are in the above post, the team will be holding a charity stream for Make-a-Wish, joined by Screenhog! Donating £5 or more during the stream (or 24 hours after it) will give you a Treasure Book code that unlocks three things. You can view the stream here, but I’ll also post it tomorrow, along with highlights!
However, here’s a look at the Treasure Book, which I’m very grateful to be able to share with you!
Page one contains the Fishing Hat, the Black Glasses, the Fishing Vest, the Messenger Bag and also the Fishing Rod!
Page two contains the Sunstriker, the Blue Sunglasses, the Sport Life Jacket, the Surf Knot, the Pendant and the Red Shorts.
If you click the cloud at the top, you will be offered the Red Propeller Cap, the Red Sunglasses or the Red Letterman Jacket.
Page three offers the Headphones, the Penguin Band Hoodie, the Blue Sneakers, The Spikestar, the Star T-Shirt and the Black Sneakers.
Page four offers the Fruit Headdress and the Flamenco Dress. It also has the Sombrero, the Maracas and the Poncho.
If you click the pineapple on the left penguin’s head, you can receive the Winged Helmet too.
Page five contains the Stocking Cap, the Long Johns, the Tiara, the Ballerina and also the Ballet Shoes!
Page six contains the Kitty Kat Hat, the Blue Daisy Hoodie, the Maroon Mask, the Maroon Cape, the White Parka, the Fuzzy Wrist Bands and the Canvas Cloud Shoes.
You can also get 5000 coins!
Remember, you have three picks from the Treasure Book, but it’s an absolutely amazing selection, and it’s a nice way to raise money for charity too. Once again though, please have your parent or guardian donate if you are under 18.

CP Rewritten: Treasure Book Available Tomorrow
The Treasure Book is going to be coming to Club Penguin Rewritten tomorrow during the Devcast stream!
The stream is going to start at 1PM PST tomorrow, but I’ll make a post on it when it’s released and recap the highlights. Screenhog is joining the stream too which is amazing! The team also gave the following sneak peek of the book:
In terms of how you can redeem it, that requires paying money to the Club Penguin Rewritten team who will then forward all money to Make-a-Wish. Donation will also be open 24 hours after the stream. You’ll then receive 3 items:
To get a code all you have to do is donate £5 or more to Make a Wish during the stream and we will send you a postcard with your code. You won’t get a code if you donate before the stream.
For those who are unable to donate, don’t worry as there are going to be more chances in the future to get access to the treasure book, we’ll also have some smaller prizes if we reach certain donation goals. There’s much more to tell, but we’ll reveal that information closer to the livestream.

Although this is a really cool way to raise money for a great cause, I can’t stress enough, please always get your parents/guardians to donate – not yourself. Although there’ll be future opportunities to get items from the Treasure Book without donating, seriously please bare in mind you need to be eighteen or over to operate a PayPal account, so that likely might mean needing your parents/guardians to donate for you if you wish to do so.

CP Rewritten: Gary to Visit for Halloween
Although Gary still could visit for the eclipse or the Anniversary Party (along with other mascots), Gary is now confirmed to visit for the Halloween Party!

CP Rewritten: Treasure Book Likely Soon
The Treasure Book may be coming “soon” to Club Penguin Rewritten, which was a book that allowed you to unlock a variety of exclusive items, or use a code for coins!
This hasn’t been directly confirmed, but Joee posted the following sneak peek. It’s unlikely to be a one-time code sneak peek as those rarely feature a foot item, but it has a very similar feel to the Treasure Book.
In fact, Joee said earlier this month that he had planned ways to bring back rarer items (such as the Blue Sneakers, which seems to be featured in the above image) and that could just be through the Treasure Book!

CP Rewritten: 13th Anniversary Party – FULL GUIDE
This party is over
The 13th Anniversary celebrations for classic Club Penguin have begun until Thursday, and it’s possible to obtain an exclusive hat, tip the Iceberg, use new igloo music and more! Mascots are expected by many, but not confirmed, to visit for this event as well. 🎉

CP Rewritten: “Very Ghostly” Halloween Party
Some more information has been revealed about the Halloween Party, which will begin on October 25th on Club Penguin Rewritten!
When asked about the Halloween Party earlier today, stu (an administrator) said the following regarding it:

It’s not known what exactly this means yet, however, it could mean that we’ll get the ability to transform into a ghost. The Haunted House has already been hinted (see here and here) and one of the things which the original Haunted House is known for is offering the Ghost Lab!
At the Ghost Lab, we could transform into ghosts. Please note though, this is not confirmed for Club Penguin Rewritten, I’m just sharing this with you in case you wish to make your own conclusions!

CP Rewritten: Ghoul Detector Available
This is just a quick update to let you know that the Ghoul Detector is now available on Club Penguin Rewritten!
If you wear the Ghoul Detector and the Ghoul Detector Jumpsuit, and no other items, your penguin will perform an awesome special action!
The Ghoul Detector can be found in the Penguins at Work section for 350 coins, and the other item is 450 coins.

CP Rewritten: 13th Anniversary Party Sneak Peek
Club Penguin Rewritten is hosting a CP 13th Anniversary Party starting on October 22nd, and today, Joee released a sneak peek of the event.
Though it doesn’t appear to be much at first, Joee said “What it could be?” and posted this image. It could potentially be a prompt for something, but nobody is certain!
