Discussion: Automatic Trackers
Hey everyone,
You may well know that I got banned forever by using an item adder. However today I am going to ask the question: are trackers cheating? By trackers, I don’t mean trackers where a user manually updates it. I believe that that is okay. I am talking about automatic trackers which have a certain guarantee of finding a mascot.
The reason I am posting this is after I saw a conversation about Penguin Lodge, a Club Penguin cheating program. DJStoresssss said this to when someone asked if visiting Penguin Lodge is classed as cheating or hacking.
“If you use their adders or/and support them then yes.”
Technically, even visiting a cheat site supports them. The more views they gain, the higher up they’ll go on Google searches giving an opportunity for more users to use them. I go on Penguin Lodge everyday, but not for the adders or trackers. I go on the chat, but does that make me a cheater? No! At least, I think not, so I would have to disagree with DJStoresssss.

Moving on. Firstly, Club Penguin can’t ban you for using a tracker. Since you don’t need to insert a username, there’s no possible way of blaming you. They can’t ban you for speaking English on a French server, right?
But technically, you are using a website to get an unfair advantage in the game. Cheating is acting dishonestly or unfairly in order to gain an advantage. So does this mean that Club Penguin should ban you for it? Well, a widely known cheating program called CPCheats.co has automatic trackers for all mascots! I asked the owner of CP Cheats, Penian4, what he thought of the issue.
Torres126: Do you think that automatic trackers should be classed as cheating on Club Penguin?
Penian4: If someone uses an automatic tracker to find a mascot, I don’t think it should be considered to be cheating.
Torres126: Why?
Penian4: Because it’s only information provided to them, it’s not manipulating the game in any way. Also, it can’t be proved that they used a tracker to find a mascot.
I personally agree with Penian4, though it is a program. It would be really unfair if Club Penguin banned people without solid evidence, though they already have with me…
But in all honesty, would it really matter if trackers stopped working? There are dozens of meet up times posted on the blog. Hopefully, I haven’t encouraged you to cheat though!

I’m Unbanned!
Hey everyone,
I recently hosted a petition for my dad to call Club Penguin to unban my penguin. I am pleased to say that I’ve been unbanned on my second account! They still won’t unban my main account though, but I suppose that ban was for a good reason. Anyway, thank you so much for your help! This post doesn’t affect the schedule.

Monthly Code Contest #2 – Results
Hey everyone,
The second monthly code contest on Club Penguin Mountains is now over! Due to this, all the hidden Easter Eggs have been removed and no more entries will be accepted. Before I announce the results, let’s first share where all the eggs were actually hidden!
Egg 1:
http://clubpenguinmountains.com/swfs/

Egg 2:

Egg 3:

Egg 6:

Egg 7:
http://clubpenguinmountains.com/join/

Egg 8:
http://clubpenguinmountains.com/comics/

Before the winner is announced, let’s see how many eggs were found! Four penguins entered the competition!
Crazybv found eggs 1, 3, 4, 6 and 7
Tomisino1 found eggs 1, 3, 4, 6 and 7
Artemis12553 found eggs 3, 6 and 7
Dhi228 found eggs 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7
No one found egg five or eight! Next time, check the page with the most images! 😛
Just as a reminder, for every egg you find is how many times your name will be entered into a “Spin the Wheel” decider. However, if I insert them all at once, that gives you a more likely chance of winning because your name will be next to your name which will be next to your name (confusing, I know). So, before I insert the names on the wheel, I’m going to use a program to make a random list. This was the list result.

And so, using this list, I inserted the names into wheeldecide.com…

Congratulations Dhi228! You shall receive your Card Jitsu code within 24 hours of this post being published! Thank you, everyone, for entering in this contest! Don’t forget that there will be another one next month…and since we’ll most likely achieve 20K views soon, it’s going to be a big and special one!

Fact Friday #4: Illogical Things
Hey everyone,
You may not realise, but there are loads of illogical things around the island! By this, I mean something that makes no sense whatsoever but exclude how penguins pineapples with their feet because today, I want to talk about a more recent mistake Club Penguin made with PH’s dialog during this party.
Trainman1405 recently pointed out this image that PH says when you find the brown puffle.

You may not notice anything wrong with this text, but actually there is a minor detail. Brown puffles were discovered at the Wilderness Party (which you can read about by clicking here) during 2011. PH became a mascot in 2012. Completely illogical but hey, pretty much no one notices these minor details except for a few people.
There are tons of things that don’t make sense on the island! Perhaps you can find a few?

Discussion: Profiting from Blogging
Hey everyone,
Quite recently, a famous blogger called Trainman1405 (the owner of Club Penguin Memories) mentioned that he’d been making a small income from Club Penguin blogging for the past five years. That got some pretty unpopular responses. Today I’m going to be sharing my opinion on this.
Well, firstly, it’s not just Trainman1405 who makes a profit out of blogging about a game. Other bloggers like Riyita do too. The way they do this is through advertisements. Let me start off by sharing what some people said.
A user believed that bloggers profit off their user’s loyalty and content that they don’t own. However, that isn’t necessarily unfair. I’ll come back to this in more detail later.
https://twitter.com/Trainman1405/status/710185559700979713
Not only that, but Trainman1405 said he’d only made $6000 dollars in five years. That’s equivalent to just over £4000, which might sound like a lot but bear in mind the average yearly wage in the United Kingdom is £26,500.00.

https://twitter.com/thetechblaze/status/710187440259080192
This user claimed that if you don’t make money, you’re bound to shut down. Well, that’s not true at all and this site is proof of it. I don’t make as much as a penny, but I’ve still invested money into the site. I spent £18 on a domain and £6 to host the Card Jitsu monthly giveaways for a year. But still, I have no intention of closing down anytime soon because I can’t afford to keep this site up.
The user which I am talking about stated this. You can read the full post he made by clicking here or view his website by clicking here.

I believe that it is okay to make money out of Club Penguin blogging. Trust me, it isn’t easy to create several pages and posts. Trainman1405 has this as his income, and even if other bloggers earn money elsewhere, I see no problem as to why they shouldn’t be allowed to earn money. However, I do understand what this user is saying. I constantly advertise my posts too, but I don’t make anything.
It’s not even like the viewer is paying money, so why complain about it? Sure, the occasional advert is always annoying but is it really that bad to complain about removing it? I don’t think so.

Puffle Party 2016 Review
Hey everyone,
Today I am going to be reviewing the Puffle Party. Well, I’ll tell you this right now. I am fairly disappointed.
Rooms
I really don’t like the rooms this year. That might be surprising considering that the Puffle Domains have made a return. Don’t get me wrong, I really like Puffle Domains, however how many times can they be reused? I mean, there’s hardly any rooms that haven’t made a return and the Iceberg and Ski Hill haven’t been decorated though they have been in previous Puffle Parties.
However, I do like how each day is a new “Puffle Day” and the decoration fits that puffle for a day.
Score: 6.5/10
Activities
The main activity so far in the Puffle Party is to find several different puffles. Although I do like this, I still think that the puffles haven’t been hidden that well. It would take less than half a minute to find one. Personally, I would have preferred the team not revealing which room the puffle is hidden in, though I understand that would make it much harder for younger players. It loses points due to it’s easy difficulty.
Score: 7/10
Items
I must admit, the items in this party are awesome! I really do like that you get five items for finding each puffle! The more, the better, right? My only wish, as with every other party, that there was more than just a pin for non-members.
Score: 9/10
Features
There’s no special features other than changing into a puffle. Even that is for members. This is a slight disappointment, but I don’t see what else Club Penguin could have added.
Score: 7/10
Bugs
I, personally, have not experienced any glitches or bugs with this party. However, I saw a few people say that they couldn’t access the full party whilst others could. By this, I mean that they only heard the music and saw a few rooms. To solve the issue, they had to clear their cache. However, this party is pretty much flawless when it comes to bugs.
Score: 9/10
I was really expecting the Puffle Party to be a bit better than this, but it could have been a lot worse. I really love the amount of items they added, but it seems that that is all they actually worked on for this party.

Discussion: Return of all Puffles
Hey everyone,
Since the Puffle Party has begun, every single puffle in Club Penguin history is available for adoption by members! I’m sure a lot of people will be pleased by this because it offers an opportunity to newer players to adopt puffles from a while back, however I am not. Today I’m going to explain the reason for this.

I’ve seen a popular reason for why it’s bad that all the puffles are returning. Some people really dislike the alien abductions taking place and don’t want the alien puffles to return. However, my problem with all the puffles returning is rarity.
Take the dinosaur puffle for example. When it was released for people to adopt, Club Penguin claimed that it was a rare puffle and the Prehistoric Party would be the only possible time to adopt it. Of course, not only did it make a return a year after that claim was made, but here we are again at the Puffle Party where the dinosaur puffle is available to be adopted once more.

Not only that, but the wild puffles were also advertised as “rare” by Club Penguin. In their app description of Puffle Wild, they stated the following.
TAKE rare puffle creatures you earn back into the Club Penguin app!
Puffles won’t be rare if Club Penguin keeps deciding to bring them back. Puffles are one of the few things which couldn’t be added or hacked. At one point, even the beta hat could be hacked! However, there’s not been a time where you could cheat and add puffles. This is why, in my opinion, puffles are rare and that is now completely ruined with Club Penguin returning all types for this party.
The reason why Club Penguin probably decided to do this is to make the party more attractive. According to Lance Priebe (a founder of Club Penguin, more commonly known as Rocketsnail), most players play for less than a year.
@girlfunlover not really. Consider most players play for less than one year the majority of players have never seen the item.
— Lance Priebe (@lancepriebe) March 13, 2016
Due to this, Club Penguin probably thought that more people would attend this party because they had an opportunity to claim something “rare”, though the fact is that it isn’t rare anymore.
