CP Rewritten: Compensation for Operation Swarm Delay
Earlier in the week, it was confirmed that there would be a code released on Club Penguin Rewritten as an apology for the delay to Operation Swarm. However, today, it was confirmed what that code would unlock:
- 25,000 (25K) coins
- Access to the Treasure Book (three picks)
The code will be released within a week of Operation Swarm being launched, and I’ll definitely be sure to share it with you – it isn’t one to miss, especially with how substantial the compensation is!

25,000 COINS AND A TREASURE BOOK PICK!!! THIS IS AWESOMEEEE! AND WE GET THREE PICKS IN THE BOOK! EVERYBODY BETTER GET THEIR PICKS READY! But in all seriousness like 25,000 coins is A LOT of coins to have! Also, access to 3 picks in the treasure book! They must be really sorry for the delay! This is a bit too much compensation if u ask me!

Thanks for clarifying. Not having to sacrifice items because of the side you choose is in keeping with the spirit of Club Penguin. Do you know what Treasure Book Series will be accessible? Also, are you saying that one code will unlock both the 25k coins AND the TB? Or do you think there will be two codes, one for the 25k coins and one for the TB? Typically, TB codes come via in-game postcards, and differ from the codes we enter to unlock coins and items. (I know you can redeem 5k coins in the TB but, hopefully, you get what I mean.) In other words, TB codes consist of random lowercase and uppercase letters and sometimes numbers (e.g., wvJZYpUTg or 9kOjRmnXg), whereas the “usual” codes we are given to redeem are more like words/dates (e.g., HAPPYEASTER or HALLOWEEN18).

I suspect there will probably be one unlock code, but I understand what you mean: it’d definitely be different! I suppose the difference with those codes is there was an active effort to ensure people couldn’t guess them (since they were usually given for donating real money or achieving something like winning an Igloo Contest) whereas that won’t be the case this time.

Yeah, I see what you mean. Good point about why some codes would be made harder to guess than others. I still don’t understand how one code can unlock both coins and a Treasure Book. Usually a code unlocks coins and one or two items that automatically go into your inventory. I will just have to wait and see. I must be overly excited. The party will be releasing at the same time my “avalanche” will be ending, so I’m all discombobulated.

Yeah, it’ll be interesting to see how they do it! It could just be that you make your Treasure Book picks first, and in the final screen where it shows you your picks, it includes the additional coins too.

Honestly, I’m feeling a bit dissappointed at the team right now. Amazing compensation, but throughout this year most of the catalogs and parties were delayed. Why give us a release date/week when it’s never on time? At this rate, the christmas party will be in january…

I suspect that the delays were unexpected and related to the party being so heavily “custom”, which won’t be the case with the Holiday Party! 🙂

I think both rewards will show up on the screen right after the code is redeemed. When I redeemed a book code in another CPPS I got 1500 coins and something else. They both showed up on the screen after I redeemed the book code.

The reason parties started coming late was because of the fair coming a bit later than expected. And im not surprised that this party is coming late because Operation Swarm is almost completely custom. Although I am exited to see/obtain/collect/get the items i’ve missed from earlier parties…
