There is one new secret contained within the Better Igloos catalog which I just wanted to quickly share, and that’s the Soccer Pitch Night Location. It’s basically the same as the Soccer Pitch Location except with a night sky, and it can be found by clicking the penalty spot on that page.
There are other secrets on this page, but as they’re not new, I won’t go over them again! You can find them all here. Thank you very much for reading, be sure to check back for more of the latest Club Penguin Rewritten news and guides!

CP Rewritten: Gary’s Prehistoric Giveaway
Gary made his first appearance on the server Crystal earlier with a new background themed for the Prehistoric Party! It’s the background which he’ll be offering throughout the event, and it shows Gary preparing notes beside the Time Trekker 3000. You can see an image of it below!
If you didn’t have the chance to obtain this yet, don’t worry – Gary will still be making plenty of visits throughout the event! There haven’t been any scheduled meet-up times released yet, but there’s still a good chance you’ll be able to meet him.
Good luck!

CP Rewritten: Soccer Pitch Location to be Released
A brand new Igloo Location will be included later in the month when the new Better Igloos and Furniture Catalog is available: the Soccer Pitch! This is an Igloo Location as opposed to just an igloo, so it’ll technically also be possible to place some flooring over the grass if you’re not keen on it.
This location hasn’t been released yet on the island, but you can see an image of it below!
Alongside the new Igloo Location, the team revealed one more sneak peek about an upcoming furniture item. This might look familiar to you because some concept sketches were shown a while back, but the completed artwork of the Herbert Plush has also been shared. It’ll be introduced alongside a normal grizzly bear in the near future.
There’s no exact date announced yet as to when the new Furniture Catalog will be available, but hopefully it’ll be very soon! Once it has been released, be sure to check back for all of the secrets and information regarding it.

Club Penguin Rewritten: Prehistoric Party – Full Guide
The Prehistoric Party has begun on Club Penguin Rewritten until July 4th! It offers the ability to go back into time, collect Dino Eggs, and transform into dinosaurs. This post will provide a complete guide to the event, including showing where all the eggs are located across the island. Gary will also be visiting for this event with a new background! You can view his tracker here.
When the event begins, you’ll be directed to the Time Trekker, although you’ll also be able to access this from the Snow Forts for the duration of the event. Simply waddle through the portal on the right in order to enter the prehistoric world!
The main objective here is to find all the Dino Eggs. In the guide for this below, I’m going to be using the official name of each room for the event. Since they’re all party-exclusive rooms and you probably won’t be familiar with them, here’s a map showing the name of each room and where its located!
All you need to do to collect a Dino Egg is simply click it. Here are their locations:
- Blue Triceratops Egg: Big Water Palace – just above a small cave located at the bottom right of the room
- Purple Triceratops Egg: Stony Town – inside the nest at the top of the room, near the Dino Egg icon on the top right of your screen
- Blue Pteranodon Egg: Tree Palace – towards the bottom left of the room, next to the map
- Orange Triceratops Egg: Tricera Town – located inside a plant by the entrance to the Yum Yum
- Blue T-Rex Egg: Tricera Town – located at the bottom of the room, to the right of the downwards path
- Red Triceratops Egg: Yuck Swamps – behind the sign on the right of the room
- Green T-Rex Egg: Tyranno Town – located at the bottom right of the room, by the catalog icon
- Yellow Pteranodon Egg: Scary Ice – inside a nest just above the sign located at the middle
- Brown Pteranodon Egg: Ptero Town – inside a nest at the top right of the room
- Red Pteranodon Egg: Hunting Spot – inside a pit in the middle of the room, to the left of the river
- Red T-Rex Egg: Hunting Spot – located at the bottom left of the room inside the pit there
- Black T-Rex Egg: Dino Nests – inside the leaves at the bottom left of the room
Egg 1 Egg 2 Egg 3 Egg 4 Egg 5 Egg 6 Egg 7 Egg 8 Egg 9 Egg 10 Egg 11 Egg 12
Once you’ve found all the eggs, you can redeem a free body item by clicking the Dino Egg icon at the top right of your screen! However, the most exciting thing you can do with each egg you find is transform into a dinosaur.
You can do that from this same dialogue by clicking each egg, as each egg will allow you to transform into a different type of dinosaur, and simply clicking the “Transform” button. Since there are twelve eggs you can find, there are twelve different types of dinosaurs which it’s possible to become for this event!
Each dinosaur has various actions, but pressing D (usually used to dance) will allow your dinosaur to roar! You can also transform back to an ordinary penguin at anytime by clicking the button which appears on your playercard. The flying dinosaurs are also really cool because they allow you to fly up on buildings.
It’s worth noting you can move as a dinosaur on the normal island too.
There’s also a couple of furniture prizes which you can obtain by roaring in different rooms. If you do this five times, it’ll be possible to obtain all the furniture items from the Prehistoric Party’s map. The rooms which you need to do this in are:
- Big Water Place
- Tree Palace
- Tyranno Town
- Hunting Spot
- Scary Ice
You can obtain each item as many times as you’d like for free.
Lastly, it’s worth noting that there’s a catalog in the bottom right of the room which contains a couple more prehistoric items. There’s no secrets in them though! You can also redeem the code BETAHAT2021 to unlock the Prehistoric Beta Hat.
Although it’ll also be possible to collect Gary’s new background when he starts visiting, that concludes the guide for now! I hope that it helped, and thank you very much for reading!

CP Rewritten: Prehistoric Party Set to Begin Today
Earlier in the week, there was some doubt as to whether the Prehistoric Party would actually occur as a result of the delays to it, and the administration announced that they had warned the game’s developer it would have to be completed by the end of yesterday.
Fortunately, this deadline has been fulfilled, and the Prehistoric Party is set to begin today! It’ll be a party which lasts for a week, and it’ll end up on July 4th. The team also released a small sneak peek of the login screen for the event, and confirmed that Dino Dig will not be included but there will be a small egg hunt.
It seems like the initial theory that the public announcement earlier in the week was merely intended to put pressure on increasing the pace of development was probably correct, but I know that many will be keen to hear that the Prehistoric Party will actually be going ahead!
Be sure to check back later today for a guide to the event once it has begun!

CP Rewritten: All Previous Items of the Month to be Released
When Item of the Month was introduced to Club Penguin Rewritten, the underlying principle was that they would never return once removed from the catalog. As previously mentioned, the team have now decided to scrap this concept completely. However, they’ve also now revealed that all previous such items will be released “gradually at good pace”.
I plan on releasing them [Items of the Month] all gradually at a good pace.
-stu, Club Penguin Rewritten administratorSince the scrapping of this concept was announced, it’s been questioned about when all the items would return (if ever) but I thought that sharing this timescale would be interesting to some. Thank you for reading!
