Club Penguin Island App Update & More
For the first time for hopefully many years to come, the Club Penguin Island app has received an update and is now version 1.0.1!
Other than bug fixes, the only major change is the addition of over 20 servers, though I’ve heard rumours that the quick chat has been adjusted a bit too.

The most interesting thing to me is that you can continue playing whether you have the update or not, even with other friends. Theoretically, it might even be possible to never update the app and have a beta version in a few years. If you try to “Friend Jump” to a penguin on a different server, it will say that there are connection issues.
An addition of so many servers suggests that launch is approaching us rapidly and maybe even at the start of March rather than towards the end. Ever since Superqami told me this morning (thanks!) I’ve wondered, what are your thoughts?

Club Penguin Island Glitch: Sea Caves at Different Angles
I’ve got a really special post today with a glitch which my friend Foodtrekker showed me. I am unable to show you how to perform this as I’m sworn to secrecy but I have some really cool screenshots which I think you might like!
This glitch brings out some of the most amazing details and angles in the Sea Caves! My personal favourite is the one with the Throne Room, but the second one makes me feel a bit like Dory!
I’ve posted a few glitches in the past, but this one is my favourite one so far! Good luck being able to do it, it’s more obvious then you think!

Exploring
Sometimes the most fun in the game isn’t the most obvious fun. Exploring glitches is something which is actually really awesome and even better when you find one! Doing this is completely safe and you don’t risk getting banned but you can access some really awesome places.
Club Penguin Mountains has some very popular glitches which you can read about here:
- Breaking Sea Boundaries in Club Penguin Island
- Breaking Land Boundaries in Club Penguin Island
- Accessing Closed Areas in Club Penguin Island
When you find these glitches, you can take some awesome pictures and it’s just really cool!

Accessing Closed Areas in Club Penguin Island
Have you ever wanted to access closed areas on Club Penguin Island and maybe go swimming on the beach? Today I’m going to show you a really cool glitch which can make some great screenshots, exclusively on our blog!

Club Penguin Island Daily Challenges – 15/01/17
There are new tasks for us to complete on Club Penguin Island!

See Waves:
Tap the green party hat at the bottom of your screen. Then tap gear. Find the Lifeguard Kit and tap it to equip it!

Now head over to the rowboat at Beacon Boardwalk. Once you’re standing next to it, tap the binoculars icon at the bottom right of your screen to be able to claim your reward!

Brain Waves:
Firstly, head over to the Party Submarine in the Sea Caves. If you go just a bit deeper down when you’re in the party submarine, you’ll get to a small tube which leads to a tiny area. Go down there. Keep in mind that this is what brain coral looks like!

You’ll need to see two pieces of brain coral and swim past them. One is located below the Party Submarine in the small section there.

For the second one, you simply need to complete a race in the Sea Caves. Then you can claim your reward.
Geyser Higher:
You need to ride 5 water geysers! This can be done by heading to the water in Beacon Boardwalk. Whenever you see a blue circle like the one below, swim to it!

Once you’re on it, you will be blasted into the sky. As soon as the bug is fixed, you can do this five times to complete your reward.

Bonus Birthdays:
As a member, you need to first purchase some cake from any party supplies market! You can then eat this cake by going to “My Inventory” – “Party Supplies” – “Birthday Cake” – tapping the orange interactive button. This will contribute to the Daily Challenge.

Members who are level 5 and above can by the “Birthday Cake” to share food with others, including non-members. 5000 is a big number but I think we can achieve it.

Club Penguin Island Daily Challenges – 14/01/17
There are new tasks for us to complete on Club Penguin Island and as always, I’m going to help you complete them! Unfortunately, they are currently bugged so you’ll need to wait a few hours before they are fixed.

Whoa Cocoa:
This challenge can only be completed by members. Firstly, buy some “Hot Cocoa” from any party supplies market for 10 coins.

Head to the Lazy River in Coconut Cove. Wear your tube and once you have fallen down the waterfall, drink a hot cocoa to be able to claim your reward!

Sand vs Snow:
For this task, you simply need to throw 20 snowballs at Coconut Cove. Just head over to the Cove and tap this button on the sand to throw a snowball!

Tap the button another 19 times so that in total you have thrown 20 snowballs. Once you’ve done this, you can claim your reward. This is a repeat of a previous challenge.

I think I’m Gonna…:
Firstly, head over to the Migrator in Beacon Boardwalk. Open up your emoji tab and use the green sick emoji in the location in the picture below to be able to claim your reward once the bug is fixed!

5 Grrreat Pirates:
You’ll need to first wear a pirate hat by going to “My Designer” in the blue “My Penguin” tab. Ensure that you are wearing it. Get four friends to do the same!

Then head to the black flag by the entrance to the Migrator. All five of you need to open the Quick Chat menu and tap the “GRRR!” button to be able to complete this challenge!

That’s all for the guides today. I rate this challenge…
1/10
Pros:
- uh…there are no pros today
Cons:
- Completely buggy
- Community challenge is only for members
- Takes less than 5 minutes to do
- Not difficult whatsoever
Do you agree with this rating? I hope this guide helped!

Club Penguin Island Daily Challenges – 10/01/17
There are four
newDaily Challenges for us to complete on Club Penguin Island and unfortunately, one of these challenges is a repeat and another one is buggy. Either way, let’s get started!
Pie in the Sky:
Firstly, members will need to buy a “Large Pizza”. You have to be level 5 to be able to do this and it costs 40 coins. They can be found almost anywhere. I just got mine at the Welcome Market.

Head over to the Migrator in Beacon Boardwalk. Once you’re on it, go right (east) to the mat that takes you to the Crow’s Nest. You will need at least one friend to hep you. Once you’re there, tap the green party supplies hat – party supplies – large pizza and tap the orange interact button.
Your friend will need to eat all 6 slices of the pizza for you to be able to claim your reward. THis might take a while and the more friends you have, the easier it’ll be. TheJbot was kind enough to help me out!

Once you’ve got your reward, remember to help other penguins out by eating their pizza. Non-members can also eat the pizza which they give! This challenge is unfortunately a repeat of a previous one.

A Fine Line:
You should be able to complete this challenge as a member by going to the far right (east) of Coconut Cove and waddling up to the Zipline. Then simply tap the orange interactive button when close to it to be able to claim your reward.

Unfortunately, I experienced a bug where I had to complete the challenge three times before I was able to claim my reward. If you experience this, my suggestion would be to go to another area and then try this again. Eventually it will work!

Sub went Blub Blub:
You very simply need to find the Party Submarine and swim over to it. To do this, head underwater in the Sea Caves and go slightly down but stick to your left. You should be able to get to it easily and quickly.

Have a Heart:
The community needs to send 10,000 heart emotes. That sounds like a lot and it kind of is, but I think that we can achieve this! You can help contribute by opening your emoji bar and then finding the Heart Emoji in set one. Simply tap this and we are one emoji closer to being able to claim our reward!

I rate these challenges…
1/10
Pros:
- A good community challenge which is not simple yet teamwork can achieve it!
Cons:
- A repeated challenge
- A bug where you can’t complete the second challenge
- Extremely simple challenges that took me less than 10 minutes to complete, despite this bug
- There are reports of a bug earlier where it was impossible to complete this challenge
Overall, these challenges were pretty disappointing but I hope they helped you! Be sure to check back to this blog frequently!

Club Penguin Island Daily Challenges – 08/01/17
The new Daily Challenges have been released on Club Penguin Island! Unfortunately, they are bugged once again. The team usually fixes this when they wake up so I’m still going to help you complete them. In the meantime, why not check out this awesome glitch which I published yesterday?

Drummed Up:
If you are a member, head over to the stage in Coconut Cove. You probably know where it is but if not, it’s left (west) when you enter the area. Waddle over to the purple drums and tap the orange interactive button!

From there, you should be able to claim your reward once the bug is fixed. If not, play some riffs by tapping the blue buttons at the bottom right hand corner of your screen.
Change is Good:
Head back to Beacon Boardwalk and go up the ramp that takes you to the Designer and the Lighthouse. It can be accessed from the Welcome Plaza and is on the left (west) of the area. Once you are at the middle door of the Designer, tap the orange interactive button to complete this challenge.

Mind the Gap:
Head up to the Crow’s Nest of the Migrator. You can either take the Zipline from Picnic Hill or use the mat at the right (east) of the Migrator. From there, you need to waddle carefully and slowly across the line. I can do it pretty easily but it might take a few attempts for you to be able to do it!

Once you’ve got finished waddling across the line using your trackpad, you should be able to claim your reward.

Crabby Company:
For this community challenge, you’ll need to dress like a pirate! To do this, tap the blue “My Penguin” icon and open “My Style”. I would suggest wearing the Pirate Hat which unlocks early in Rockhopper’s Adventures.

With four friends who are also wearing a pirate outfit, head over to the Crab’s Den. To get there, simply go to the Sea Caves and dive really deep but stick to the left. You’ll see a sign and a crab directing you to the den.

Swim through the Den until you reach the end with your four friends. Since the challenge is broken, no-one was willing to help me complete this but once all four of your friends are here, you should be able to claim your reward.

That’s all there is to today’s Daily Challenges! I’d like to end this post by giving a shoutout and a thank you to TheGnarLover! We had a lot of fun on Club Penguin Island yesterday, checking out glitches, eating food, playing music and more. It’s also great that he reads this blog often!
TheGnarLover suggested that I rate Daily Challenges out of 10 and I think that’s a great idea which is why from now on, I will be rating these challenges at the end of the post as well as a few points as to why it got that ranking!

3/10
Pros:
- The community challenge will probably be a challenge to complete and that’s a good thing! But as TheGnarLover once said, “teamwork can achieve anything”!
- We had to visit all three areas.
Cons:
- I completed the solo challenge in less than 10 minutes. It was that easy. Where are the riddles?
- Please just fix this annoying bug. My suggestion is to make Daily Challenges reset when the team are in the office. Doing that will put an end to this pesky bug!
That’s all for now. I hope that this guide helped you. Thank you for reading!

EXCLUSIVE: Breaking Boundaries in Club Penguin Island
Have you ever just wanted to swim past all boundaries on Club Penguin Island? I have been doing that for the last week and people have been requesting a lot for me to teach them how! Today I’m going to give you a walkthrough on how to swim here along with a video!
Update: This method has been patched and is very unreliable BUT there is a new method to do the exact same thing. Unfortunately it is members only but it should work!
New Method
Step 1:
Head to the entrance of the Migrator and go to the Iceberg. You should be in this location:

Step 2:
Use your tube and slowly wiggle over the invisible barrier. That’s it! Keep on reading for more information though to maximise the things you can do with this glitch!
Old Method (Probably patched)
Step 1:
Head to the dark blue water in Beacon Boardwalk and ask a friend to go to the Welcome Circle. Simply friend jump to your friend in the Welcome Circle by tapping their playercard.

Step 2:
You are now underwater. You can move around using the trackpad! Start heading right towards the waterslide.

Step 3:
Here’s where things get a bit a tricky. You need to first boost swim to this part. It’s where the steps to the hill and the Wish Squid are. Once you’re here, stop. There’s two places which you need to avoid.

Step 4:
You’ll get to this cave. Do not swim out here as there is a portal, which I will explain a bit more later. Keep on boost swimming to the right.

Step 5:
Once you’re here, swim out of the caves and go into the water. Do not swim any further as there’s a portal.

Final Step:
Rather than swimming right, swim left. You need to swim by the boundary. From here, just keep swimming! Let me explain what portals are though!

Portals:
The one thing which you need to be extremely careful of is portals. These send you back to land and you will need to complete all of the steps. Portals prevent you from swimming too far out from land.
A great guide as to where a portal is is the Migrator. Imagine an invisible line through the centre of the ship. If you swim past this line, you will be teleported to land.

Portals are something you are likely to encounter and I did numerous times. Just repeat the steps which I have showed you! My suggestion is to stick to the boundary line until you get to the Migrator. This glitch is best done with friends!
Video demonstrating how to do this glitch and how portals work:
I hope this tutorial was useful to you. I’d just like to thank iceybeakCP for showing me this glitch. He said it was difficult to explain how to do it but I think that I’ve figured it out now.
I had lots of fun showing this glitch to friends and now you can too! Blogs will probably post this walkthrough after I do but just remember you viewed it here first as we truly are your #1 source for Club Penguin Island! Let me know if you have any issues.

Club Penguin Island Daily Challenges – 07/01/17
The new Daily Challenges are out on Club Penguin Island…and unfortunately they are bugged again. This means that you cannot complete them at the moment however the team generally fixes this when they are back in the office. As such, I’m still going to show you how to complete them!
Disco-very:You need to activate the disco ball in the Party Submarine! The first thing to do is head to the Sea Caves and jump underwater. Dive in and stick to your left ensuring that you follow any signs to the Party Sub.
Once you’re there, simply waddle up to this lever and tap the orange interactive button! If you pull the lever near the radar, all that will do is cause confetti. You will then be able to claim your reward!

Fun Hut:
Head back to Beacon Boardwalk. Waddle over to the Welcome Market near the Welcome Circle and tap the orange interactive button to be able to claim your reward.

Trash on Aft:
Head over to the Migrator in Beacon Boardwalk and waddle to the vase on the right. Once you’re close to it, tap the orange interactive button to equip a pirate kit.

Then head to where the steering wheel is at the back of the ship. Use your mop three times by tapping the blue icon at the bottom right of your screen that looks like a mop. If you’ve done it three times in the correct location (it doesn’t need to be identical to mine), you will be able to claim your reward!

Old Faithful:
Penguins need to ride 1000 water geysers! This can be done by heading to the water in Beacon Boardwalk. Whenever you see a blue circle like the one below, swim to it!

Once you’re on it, you will be blasted into the sky. As soon as the bug is fixed, you can do this to contribute to the community challenge.

Based on the past community challenges, I would be really surprised if this one gets completed. I doubt we’ll even finish 20% of the challenge, partly due to the bug which means you need to wait about 10 hours before completing them.
Hopefully this bug will be fixed soon! I’m sure the developers are working hard on it. Thank you for reading!
