Bugs/Glitches
We ended blogging regarding Club Penguin Island on January 26th 2018, but you are still welcome to read all previous posts regarding the game.

How to go near the orange buoy, climb the exchanger.
You likely know by now that Club Penguin Mountains strives to be your #1 source for CP Island, and I think we’re doing a pretty good job at that when it comes to news and guides! But for glitches, my friend Danar435’s blog (CPI Secrets) is the best and that’s why I’d like to share this very awesome glitch with you! Be sure to check it out, along with the rest of his awesome posts! Have a great day! 🙂

Club Penguin Island Servers are Full
Just received an email from the Club Penguin Island support team confirming that whilst there are problems logging in, it’ll be fixed when “more space is available on the island”, essentially meaning that the worlds/servers are all full.

This is kind of confusing as people have shared that most worlds are empty. Don’t worry though as the development team are on it! It’s interesting to note that staff can log on though! Some friends lists also say that people who aren’t on are on as Yovas confirmed.
Overall, I guess we’ll just need to wait, but at least we now know why! Thanks for reading!

CP Island Update 1.1.2 – Full Breakdown & Review
Club Penguin Island has been updated to version 1.1.2 and the most notable change is the fact it’s released worldwide. In this post we’ll be looking at some initial responses to the game and I’ll explain why I am extremely disappointed with this.
What’s New
“Hey Penguins! We’ve squashed some bugs to make the Island even better. Waddle On!”We’ve also learnt that the membership prices have changed! Unfortunately non-member features will only be less restricted next month which made a lot of people at school dislike the game. Here are the new prices.$4.99 USD/month
£3.99 GBP/month
€ 4.49 EUR/month
$6.49 CAD/month
$6.49 AUD/month
$6.49 NZD/monthThere are other small updates, like when you tap the “Clear Cache button” it will speak to you…Bugs
Unfortunately, I also feel like we’re getting more bugs than we are in the beta…
First issue and I am one of the many people experiencing this, the game won’t even load and I’ve got a feeling it’s not because all the servers are full (even if it is – that’s a problem but a good one). I couldn’t reach out to Club Penguin for response because of this but I’ve followed their tutorials and it still won’t work! Some people can’t even complete the tutorial, an issue which I believe nobody had when the beta first came out. Pretty major bug, you don’t want uninstalls as soon as it comes out.
Then we get to even more major bugs where Madzom8ie was charged just under 3X the price for one months worth of membership! It gets worse with some people reporting that they aren’t even getting their membership which they paid for! We cannot confirm if this is true though but either way, not good. Huge credit to the team for reducing prices though, just another example as how we as a community CAN influence the team!
How it was received
Launching the game on the 29th was a horrible idea. Most of the day was filled with Disney protests and the game has received a very negative review with more people giving 1 stars than any other stars on Google Play.According to Google it received over 6300 reviews and is currently sitting at a rating of 2.7. Many downloaded it and it did make the news. Also, it’s part of the Editor’s Choice selection on Google Play. Conclusion
I’m disappointed by the bugs but the team are very talented and I’m sure they’ll be fixed quickly (good luck to them doing that!). However, many players have signed up and hopefully peoples’ views will shift quickly.
Thank you for reading, waddle on!

Mysterious Mountains on Club Penguin Island
When on top of the mountains on Club Penguin Island thanks to a glitch shown to me by Cheesy Blues, I noticed two things which have noticeable similarities to the Ski Hill on the classic game. The glitch Cheesy shared was awesome and you got an excellent view!

Here’s the first thing which I noticed and the most exciting one! There were always mysteries surrounding a small cave in the hole of the mountain visible from the Ski Hill. Rumours suggested it was the base of Herbert.
Well guess what, the appears to also be a hole in the scary mountain on Club Penguin Island! We already know that EPF agents are coming, and I’m really excited of what mysteries the cave could contain. After all, we never got to experience it in the Classic version but I’m excited for it in CPI!

That brings me on to my next image, the Sled Racing track. This game has already been confirmed but being able to actually see the track which we could potentially be sledding down is awesome. It interests me that there is only one for now though.

Here’s a random image of me falling out of a tree and about to hit the Sled Racing track. I wonder if I can replicate this photo when the game officially comes out, which could possibly be in May.

Like Club Penguin, the Mountains here hold lots of mysteries which are going to be exciting to explore! I expect many adventures to take place here, like the old PSA & EPF missions did. This is another reminder of how many exciting possibilities there are as our island progresses.

CP Island Glitch – Mountains, Void, Forests, Sled Racing
The other day, Cheesy Blues showed me a really cool glitch allowing you to see the top of the mountains, be blast high into the sky, get some really cool photos and more! He calls it the Cheesy Void glitch.
Before I share how to do this, here are some really cool photos I took! Ahh!

In this one, I seem to be in a new area. Behind the mountains is the beautiful Club Penguin Island ocean. You can even see a small forest on the right, is this where the Forest area will be?

Woah, where am I? I do not like the look of that monster…but it’s so cool to be able to see him in-game!

Am in IN the mountains? Also, can I see the track which will be SLED RACING down on the left?!

Woah, so this is what it’s like under the Designer! Pretty cool!

So you may be wondering how to do this and Cheesy Blues has kindly given permission to let me teach you how (thank you)!
Step 1: Climb onto the top of the Designer. This is a separate glitch which you can find out how to do here. Basically, head over to the Lighthouse building and use your trackpad to jump on top of the emoji. Danar435 (who is an expert at this) explains it like this:
Ok, i got a tip to go on the roof, when you jump, DON’T jump on the side of the desinger, jump at the front, and try to land on top of the emoji sign. Also, before you jump, it’s a good idea to start at the bottom left of the yellow-black rectangle on the lighthouse.
Step 2: Waddle towards the rock which you will see. You will fall into a portal
Step 3: As you are falling into the portal, open and close settings
Step 4: You are now under the Designer! Use your tube to spring up and see the first few pictures I shared for yourself! This might take two or three tries to do, and it will happen pretty quickly.
Once again, I would like to give a huge thanks to Cheesy Blues for showing me the Cheesy Void glitch! It’s epic! Looking for even more glitches? My friend Danar435 posted a cool one here! Thank you for reading!

Bug affects CP Island Usernames
Hi! This is just a quick update about a “bug” which I see happening on Club Penguin Island. Completely approved usernames have been changed to “cp” with no warning and their are no traces of their username. Even when searching their original one, nothing appears.

It is not known why this is happening but my guess would be that the team have picked it – though I’m not sure why. All of these usernames were appropriate and previously approved. I hope that this is fixed soon but basically, if you’re affected, so are many others. Hope this helps!

How to Climb Stuff on Club Penguin Island
There is so much stuff that I never knew you could climb and see on Club Penguin Island, but Danar435 was kind enough to take the time to show me how (thank you!). Here’s a few pictures I took, after which I will explain how to climb the Mountains and the trees.

Club Penguin Island Version 1.1.1 – FULL BREAKDOWN
Last night saw the release of version 1.1.1 of Club Penguin Island which caused so much hype in the community! The most notable change is the addition of the Disney Shop but there is so much more which players have noticed. Today I’m going to share everything new in the app!
I’d like to give a HUGE thanks to Dj Stores/Foodtrekker who supplied me with every screenshot you see in this post! You can pre-register your interest for something awesome he’s working on here!
The Disney Shop:
This was the change that Club Penguin featured on the What’s New area of the updated app. The Disney Shop is now open and it’s AMAZING! Currently you can purchase outfits from the following series but more have already been confirmed to come in the future:
- Frozen
- Finding Dory
- Zootopia
- Monsters Inc.
- Toy Story
- Elena the Avalor
Here are the things which you can buy for a pretty cheap price! They vary from costumes to fabrics to even party supplies!
These are absolutely amazing! I love the outfits and the fact they’ve included party supplies too is just incredible! There’s also new actions when you use these supplies.
Here’s an example of a person eating from the “Pizza Planet Box” from Toy Story and the “Pawpsicle” from Zootopia!
Members can buy all of these new items at the Disney Store, and there’s more coming! These look really cool and I, like many, am so glad to see them in the game!
New languages:
The next big change! You can now play the game in other languages like French and Portuguese! Woo hoo!

Membership Information:
In your settings tab, you can now get more detailed information on your membership, which is awesome since previously you only knew what Google/Apple told you.

This is likely to be helpful to those paying for the membership to clear up any confusion that previously took place.
New Worlds:
As we near worldwide release, more worlds have been added for us to play on!

This isn’t anything too big at the moment since not even the current worlds are near full yet, but I’m sure this will be a useful addition when the game is out worldwide.
Friend list changes:
The most notable change to the Friends List is that there is now a hard limit of 200. This is not surprising and completely understandable as the list apparently became buggy after surpassing 200 friends. The team has said:
“It’s something we’re working on to make the app run as smooth as possible.”

One thing that is not certain is what happens to those with over 200 friends. Think of staff members who have exceeded this number. Pen50gi shared that SheepVSGravity (a developer) has confirmed that they can’t exceed the 200 friends limit so then what happens?

There’s also a small little action for online friends which you can see above. This has been changed from what it previously was.
Chapter 2 of Aunt Arctic’s Adventures:

The second chapter of Aunt Arctic’s Adventures has now been hinted in the game. Although it says “Coming Soon”, we know they’ll be out in April. This is so exciting because it also gives you an opportunity to earn a higher level, and we can assume familiar faces will be appearing there too!
No more VPN:
Regions part of the “selected territories” that aren’t technically part of the geo-beta no longer need to use a VPN!
New Music:
Foodtrekker has kindly informed me that there is also new music in the game! These are:
- Between events in Beacon Boardwalk
- For the Dance Floor event in Beacon Boardwalk
- New loading music
- Changes to the music at the Party Sub
Along with these soundtracks, there’s also new music for the band in Coconut Cove, a new sound track when on the trampoline and many others!
New Video when Loading:
At the top right of your screen when you first open up the game is a button that plays a short ad for the game. MikeyMichael kindly allowed me to share his video of it (thanks!).
https://twitter.com/MikeyMichaelCP/status/840086226170335232
Interestingly enough, member features have been removed from it.
Bug Squashes:
As with most updates, bugs have been squashed. I heard on social media from GeekJose that the going underground glitch has been patched but I am not 100% sure this is the case.
Also, the copyright has been updated from 2016 to 2017. This isn’t really a bug but more a minor change: the font of the Daily Challenge’s “claim” button has also changed.
Conclusion:
That’s all for this update and in comparison to what’s coming (igloos, new areas, puffles, new adventures and so much more) this is a pretty small update, yet social media was so hyped when it was announced!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! This legit makes me want to fake a sudden sickness so i can go home lol https://t.co/eLF9R5WihX
— ❄Rosebudee❄ (@RosebudeeCP) March 9, 2017
If we are so hyped about this, imagine these huge updates in the future! I honestly can’t wait! This is a great foot in the right direction for Club Penguin Island!
I hope you liked this post and once again, a massive thanks to Dj Stores for the screenshots in this post!

EXCLUSIVE: How to go Around the Sea Caves in Club Penguin Island
A few weeks ago, I shared a Club Penguin Island glitch that showed you how to view the Sea Caves at some really cool angles, but I was unable to show you a tutorial on how to get there.
Recently I’ve been showing some people on the island how to do this glitch, but as a new method was discovered, I am no longer sworn to secrecy and I can give you step-by-step guides and a video on how you can make this happen to your penguin!
I would like to thank Foodtrekker for being the one to originally show me the first version of this glitch, which no longer works for some reason.

Club Penguin Island: Moderator Test World Mystery
Yesterday I had the rare opportunity of being able to visit test world “Avalancha” on Club Penguin Island. This was a bug and it happened when I noticed that four moderators were online. I decided to jump to GoldenStallion first.
Here is my discovery on a Club Penguin Island test server.
