Discussion/Idea: Seasonal Changes
Hey everyone,
I am now almost certain that after #ProjectSuperSecret, we will no longer have a snowy island. This leads me to think that we might also get some more changes, but first let me explain why I think this.
Take a look at these few sneak peeks about #ProjectSuperSecret that we have got so far.

Notice how there is sand, sunshine and trees that aren’t covered in snow. This most likely wouldn’t happen if Club Penguin didn’t intend to change the seasons. However, in the first image, there is still some snow in the background which suggests that winter will return.
This leads me to think that we might even be getting daylights and perhaps even weather, seeing that the sun is shining. Nighttime in Club Penguin has always been a popular idea, and I think it would be great if Club Penguin were to implement it.

The next thing that I think and I hope will happen is that we see some more weather conditions in Club Penguin that aren’t caused by ninjas. It would be awesome if we see rain along with snow and sunshine.

What do you think about this theory? I really do hope that it does happen.

Exclusive Discussion: Change of Files – #ProjectSuperSecret Nearing?
Hey everyone,
I say with good confidence that #ProjectSuperSecret is nearing! Today I was making a graphic, just like usual, but to my shock, the links of images on the site has changed. This is how the file of Club Penguin playercards used to look like. Notice the link that says “http://cdn.avatar.clubpenguin.com/”.

This has been that way for as long as I can remember. However, that has now changed. Take a look at the same line of code that has now been replaced to “Paperdoll”.

What possible reason would Club Penguin make this change for? It may be something minor, but as this has never happened before, I believe that this might just hint #ProjectSuperSecret releasing soon. Otherwise, why would they change it?
We already have a seven week party coming up (which is ridiculous) and is that just a party to give the team enough time to touch up on #ProjectSuperSecret? I think so, which leads me to think that the project will be releasing this summer (northern hemisphere).

Discussion: Membership Cards
Hey everyone,
In case you are unaware, Club Penguin recently decided to stop producing physical membership cards which you can buy in stores. Today I am going to be giving my opinion on this.
After reading an email with Madzom8ie and the team, it appears that the reason why the productions of the cards stopped are due to financial issues. It costs more to produce the actual card and ship it to stores than it would if you just bought it online.
Dj Stores agreed with Club Penguin’s decision due to this reason, but I disagree. Have you ever wondered how many people actually hear about Club Penguin because of the fact that they see so many memberships on sale at their local supermarket? Although I don’t know the exact figure, I’m sure it’s a lot. That would encourage more players to buy memberships, which equally means more money for Club Penguin. I have never purchased a membership of clubpenguin.com and have only bought my cards from a store. I’m not the only one who does this.

@AstroCP I would think about it if CP membership card will stop in all stores. But I don't really buy much online.
— PĪИǤЦ̇1̛5ĈØØĿ (@Pingu15cool) April 25, 2016
What interests me is why Club Penguin is doing it. If it really was for financial issues, then why didn’t they do this years ago? Why now? This leads me to think about the reason of the timing in pretty much everything Club Penguin. The reason why they’re doing things now. It’s because of #ProjectSuperSecret coming out this year.
I’m beginning to think that #ProjectSuperSecret will change the membership system altogether. It’s almost certain that you will need to pay to experience everything that Club Penguin has to offer, but it’s the most likely reasons as to why they decided to pull the plug on physical memberships now.

However, quite frankly, I don’t think that there will be a shortage of membership cards anytime soon. I checked my local retailer and they still have loads left, so I doubt that they will completely get rid of the membership system especially since they’re still selling memberships online. However, they technically have every right to.
I remember very clearly reading this on the official Club Penguin membership page a while back.
Clubpenguin.com is a live service and may be discontinued at any time.
And on that note, I am going to conclude this post. Do you think Club Penguin should get rid of physical memberships?

Discussion: Free Memberships
Hello!
Something common which I have seen around the Club Penguin community is the thought that “membership generators” or “free codes” are real. Well, I hate to break the news, but they’re not. Today I’m going to be explaining why they are not and why people actually try giving away these codes using a couple of examples.
I’m going to use my first example as a site I saw some people talking about on a Club Penguin chat. Although it gives a free membership code, the code starts in “13”. Never use these codes as I know of players who got banned for long periods of times by doing so. But these sites don’t exist to get you banned.

They exist to get money. Notice at all the adverts on the site. The way it works is that people are appealed to visit the site, thinking that someone has bought memberships and are giving them away, when in matter of fact, they’re just gaining money because of the large amount of views they get.
Whilst Googling examples for “free Club Penguin memberships”, I came across a Twitter account. You might be thinking, well, they can’t make money from that, can they? Wrong!

When you click the link, it goes to an advert which he makes money from. The code is fake, and he made a tweet saying the following.

This is a lie. It will say that the code is already redeemed. This is proof that he is fake, but there are still 327 gullible people who believe him. He is just making a profit of your gullibility.
Not only that, but let’s be honest. Pretend it did work. You getting free membership would mean that Club Penguin loses money. That means that they’ll need to lay-off more staff like they already have done so many times. Less staff equals less good content. Less good content equals less players. Less players equals Disney giving up on Club Penguin. Disney giving up on Club Penguin equals no Club Penguin. Do you really want that? Thought not.
What can get you free memberships is giveaways by trusted users, like the following. Giveaways are generally okay if you don’t need to click on random links etc. However, don’t fall into this scam of “free membership generators”.

Discussion: Biweekly Newspapers
Hey everyone,
It was recently confirmed that The Club Penguin Times newspaper would be published every two weeks instead of one. In this post, I’m going to be sharing my opinion about this decision by the Club Penguin team.
Firstly, Club Penguin have gone to massive weekly newspapers to small biweekly papers. The original newspapers took over forty hours a week to make because they were filled with content. Now it only takes eight. That’s a massive difference! This is an example of an old issue from the Club Penguin times.

There are three possible reasons why I think Club Penguin have decided to publish a newspaper once every second week.
- Club Penguin doesn’t have enough time and staff to dedicate to designing newspapers (This was the reason why the original newspaper was scrapped).
- They are running out of ideas for content. I mean, they are even making up questions (click here to read a post explaining this).
- Not enough people read the newspaper.
However, what we need to ask ourselves is why people aren’t reading the newspaper. Is it because of a lack of interesting content? I think so.
Filling the newspaper with content isn’t too hard and time consuming. You could easily feature some fan art. I would also like to see puzzles, like in the old newspaper, except maybe players could earn a few coins for completing them. This would make more players read the paper. However, this isn’t all bad. There is this possible theory…though I doubt it’s true, as great as it would be if it was.
If the CP Times paper is published every two weeks, then Aunt Arctic will have more time for her EPF duties. More EPF content coming??!
— Tech70 (@Tech70CP) April 17, 2016
A great post about the newspaper is one written by the person who made the tweet above. It was also a helpful source for the amount of time it took to create the newspaper. You can read the full post by clicking here.

Discussion: Disney Involving Club Penguin in Games
Hey everyone,
Disney is massive in the gaming industry. They make games varying from consoles (Disney Infinity) to mobile games for phones and tablets. Yet have you ever wondered why Disney doesn’t feature Club Penguin in the majority of their games, despite Disney claiming that Club Penguin is the #1 Virtual World? I sure have.
A big request from the Club Penguin Community is for a Disney Infinity Playset (Playsets are like worlds in which the player has to complete activities and challenges) to be released that is related to the game. Loads of players have been requesting this. In fact, at one point, Spike Hike even made a tweet announcing that something really huge was happening to Disney Infinity. You can read that post by clicking here, but I will still share some of the things he said about Disney Infinity in this post.
For you @DisneyInfinity fans, I have it on good authority that something really huge will be announced today. Stay tuned!
— Spike Hike (@SpikeHikeCP) April 30, 2014
Lots of people asking for CP in @DisneyInfinity. No promises, but we're listening so the more who ask for it, the more likely it is.
— Spike Hike (@SpikeHikeCP) September 17, 2013
These were tweets made over two years ago, yet there’s no sign of Club Penguin coming to Disney Infinity. Lots of people still hope for this idea. These are some images of potential characters to be bought to the game.

Moving on from Disney Infinity. Disney recently released a game called “Crossy Road”. In it, there are over a hundred Disney related characters. Unfortunately, not a single one of those are from our snowy island, which is a real shame. Hopefully they intend to release an update soon which will bring Club Penguin characters into the game.
Since the majority of the characters added are from Disney or Pixar films, it seems that Club Penguin will need to be a film to get the attention of Disney. The chances are that that won’t be happening anytime soon.
Although Club Penguin has been included into Disney Mix, Disney Mix isn’t a game. Only a few stickers were added, but at least that’s something! It shows that being the #1 Virtual World doesn’t mean much to Disney if they refuse to add the game into their own products.

Discussion: Card-Jitsu Promises
Hey everyone,
Believe it or not, Club Penguin have said that they will do many things around Card-Jitsu and ninjas. You’ve probably heard the rumour of Card-Jitsu Shadow. Unfortunately, they have failed to deliver most of these promises. Spike Hike said “we have big plans for Card-Jitsu” over two years ago. Today I am going to go over the promises which Club Penguin have actually made.

Although Spike Hike promised Card Jitsu Shadow, he first stated that he wants to bring Card Jitsu to mobile, then he will directly start working on Shadow. This was actually a couple of YEARS ago, yet there isn’t even the slightest sign that it’s coming anytime soon. It is possible that this is an aspect of #ProjectSuperSecret.
Spike Hike also stated that they had to put some of there Card-Jitsu plans on hold because of technology reasons. This could mean that it’s coming to #ProjectSuperSecret. If Club Penguin is becoming 3D like it seems, Club Penguin will probably change what they use to make the game.
In an interview with Spikey2007, he said the following.
2016 is going to be a big year for Club Penguin. Hopefully Spike Hike manages to incorporate Card-Jitsu into the massive updates coming to the island this year. He’s said a lot about it over the last half a decade, but other than Card-Jitsu Snow, not much has been done. One thing I still do hope Club Penguin are going to do with Card Jitsu Shadow is make it a competitive game instead of a game where players work together like Snow.

Is enough currently being done by Club Penguin, to bulken up on security?
Hello Penguins!
It’s beginning to turn into a failiar trend now on Penguin Island, to see security being exposed by hackers and bots, on Club Penguin in-game, isn’t it? It’s growing into more of a colossal conflict, that it’s beyond belief that you could keep this whole topic incognito. In this post, I’m out to explore how this could hijack Club Penguin and leave them exposed, and how Club Penguin’s future could be reshaped by the ones that won’t let go of Club Penguin, and tortue their current plight in security. Not that this is a new recurrence; but the Club Penguin population is now quickly transforming into an ebb and army of bot forces, out to scam and fool innocent children, as well as jam-pack the top server, by spamming the chat facilities. This is clearly evident in-game, if you visit Town, at the top server, and see messages from people who are controlled and manipulated by robots, ludicrously advertising ‘armies’, and enquiring others to obtain free membership from them, without knowing the conflict and confusion this causes, across the younger audience of Club Penguin. Here are some Tweets from Twitter, to prove my valid case here:
@DjStoresssss @TurboPengCP @clubpenguin I thought the bots were gone, but there is two in the clothes shop. pic.twitter.com/FgrI1WcLux

A rare sight for @clubpenguin on Blizzard Town to be clear of Bots & penguins can actually advertise their Igloos! pic.twitter.com/00ZkuOfSB2
— PĪИǤЦ̇1̛5ĈØØĿ (@Pingu15cool) April 9, 2016
The solution to this issue is simply not straightforward. The issue does arise, however, when Club Penguin do not moderate certain servers, and certain areas, where these bots swarm. You could, then, say that Club Penguin’s team is too redundant, and they don’t have a big enough team to deal with these bots all at once. The expense of hiring new staff members for a bulken on bots may seem ludicrous, as new bots can be created, making it an almost unsolvable issue for the team, but a narcassic pain, for the players, who have to watch the younger audience being taken into traps, which can lead to illegal activity, and potential financial conflict for the future. But, instead of blame being deflected on the victim of this trap, it will all go to Club Penguin, because of their failure to pounce on the peksy bots.
However, this isn’t the only issue that arises, with regards to security issues. If you visit Club Penguin’s website, and review the rules, before playing, it clearly states: “No cheating or use of third party programs”. Club Penguin, like many others in virtual world society, want to discourage the use of third party tools on their game. However, like a virtual world I previously played, Bin Weevils, they are not linking back to their claims, and may come across as promoting false claims, as everywhere you go, it’s either bots, or people using third party programs, to get an unfair advantage on the game. They need to reassure Penguins about hacking security, and that they’re solving the issue, rather than an email reply with regards to hacking/bots, saying, “report the player in-game”, when it as already been done. However, Club Penguin are doing what their job, and I admire their work, and I respect them, I’m not trying to encourage false views of them.
Club Penguin need to expand their team; it’s simple, because the hackers, are, frankly, outnumbering the support staff & moderators. Club Penguin needs to think like Animal Jam; they need to be willing to go to measures to expand their team, to become a moderated game 24/7, which is evident they are not, currently. However, they have been doing what they can, and you cannot blame them for everything, at the end of the day.
OMG this room in full of hackers or robots 😀 @clubpenguin@thelifeofapig@Trainman1405pic.twitter.com/MElZeZLJDw

@clubpenguin So i found some hackers…
Room: Town
Server: Sleet pic.twitter.com/zO7LVA1D0z— Laqqy (@BroBashh) October 4, 2015
Finally, another issue which can be terrifying on the eye, is the security message that pops up, when you navigate to the Club Penguin Membership page. This may not be the case for you, but, for Torres126, who is the owner of this blog, claims to have a security message like this, when he visits the Membership page:
We all know what this means when you receive a message such as this; Club Penguin hackers may be trying to obtain passwords and usernames from your Club Penguin account, and access extended membership billing details. Club Penguin are yet to address this; whether they do so or not rests in their hands.
Whether they choose to take action and work against the clock to fight against these hackers, is in their hands, at the end of the day.
Please don’t read this post and worry about all of this; it’s unlikely that any of this will harm/affect you (though you may be annoyed by those pesky bots), and these people can and will be punished, at least we hope, by Club Penguin.
That’s it for this post, Penguins; stay tuned on this blog for another post by me soon!

Discussion: Concept Art
Hey everyone,
Recently, a penguin called Pingping4069 received some concept art from a member of the Club Penguin team. She has kindly allowed me to feature it on Club Penguin Mountains. Here’s the image!
This looks really cool! However, I think this might somehow be related to something bigger. The first thing I thought when I saw this image was Star Wars, The design does kind of look like a droid if you look at it closing. But I also believe that this is related to Herbert.A big source for my theories is Club Herbert. Have a look at the most recent image uploaded there.

Pretty much everyone, including myself thought that this was the Shrink Ray in Operation Doom! Although the art doesn’t match exactly with the blueprint, don’t forget that it’s only a concept. Also, take a look at the Shrink Ray pin. It’s not the same as the one on the blueprint as the pin is more simple.

However, imagine that the blue puffle’s head was like that asteroid (?) in the top of the blueprint. From there work your way down. It looks slightly like the blueprint, except for it’s only about a quarter of it. Talking about the head, look at the blue puffle’s head in the image.
There is a small purple dot by the puffle’s ears. Could these be headphones? The reason why I bring this up is because of another image that was posted on Club Herbert. Take a look at the bin on the left.

Why Herbert would throw headphones, I don’t know. Herbert has always hated the noise caused by penguins on the island. Next to that, are puffles. This leads me to think that Herbert might be planning something with these headphones and puffles, but that pair in particular didn’t work.
Could we be seeing a repeat of Operation Puffle, a party in 2013 where puffles were brainwashed by Herbert? Hopefully it won’t be the exact same, but I do hope that we get another EPF Operation soon.
Stay sharp agents,

Exclusive Investigation: Submissions
Hey everyone,
Yesterday, I was talking to MhX who pointed something shocking out. The thing is, Club Penguin has been lying to us for all these years. I’m going to investigate the truth, and in the end, I will say something that will change how I think of Club Penguin. But first, I’d like to give a massive thank you to MhX for pointing this out to me.

Have you ever wondered why some of the questions in the newspaper seem so basic? I mean, the answer is pretty obvious, yet it’s still featured in the newspaper. I’m going to say it now, the newspaper submitting system is a fake.
This means that Club Penguin makes up the questions and jokes they put in their newspaper, and pretend that a real penguin out there has said it. Here is the evidence. The first image is from the most recent newspaper and the second image is from a couple of issues before. This proves that the accounts were not deleted for inactivity.

Furthermore, MhX has coded several cheating programs, and he said this.
The only code in the file is to show “Thank You” after clicking “Submit”
So we’ve concluded that the newspaper submit form is fake. But that is the small part of the investigation. The bigger part, is the report form. MhX also told me that the report form is fake.
If the report system doesn’t work, then immediately a lot is explained. Each word that you are allowed to say is added to the filter. There is no list of words you can’t say. If it’s not on that list, it will be filtered. But say Club Penguin forgot to add a word. Surely someone could use the report feature and Club Penguin will add the word, right? Turns out that isn’t the case.
But now, Club Penguin Mountains can prove that the report system is fake. In 2014, any item could be added. I ended up getting banned from reporting myself. Just a day after adding the item, someone said that they reported me online. If I remember correctly, a few days go by, nothing happens. But then I email Club Penguin telling them that I cheated. (Don’t do this, it’s not a good idea.) The next day, I get banned forever.
If the report system online really doesn’t work, then Club Penguin really isn’t as safe as it seems. This is probably why they’ve taken so many precautions on the chat filter. To report someone, you need to e-mail or call them, and not many kids will have access to be able to do that. The report system is just something to make you feel more secure, but it’s probably fake. Not certainly.
Bye!
