Community Appreciation – Day #8: Party! (Now Over)
*This event is now over. You can view the highlights and the winners of the codes by clicking here!*
Hey everyone,
Unfortunately, there will be no penguins featured for day eight, but I still have something planned! In fact, later today there will be a small leak in the current results of the blog polling. But for today, I want to announce something massive!
We’re already a week through this series, and it’s been a massive success! So I was thinking, how do I make it more awesome? A party! I must apologise for the short notice, but please understand that in my emails with Club Penguin, I gave this date. You’re invited and there will be loads of prizes!

I really hope you can come and this should be massive! I’ve been planning this event for weeks now, and to add to the hype, here’s a couple of prizes. There will be THREE Card-Jitsu codes up for grabs:
- To one random person who attends the party
- To a non-member with the best outfit
- To a member with the best outfit
Details on how the code shall be handed to you will be covered in the post announcing the winner. There is no theme for the non-member outfit but the member theme is “underwater”…
It would be amazing if you could come! There will be posts updating what is going on and it’s going to be a great evening. I aim for the event to last around half an hour, but I realise that that is a pretty long stretch. Oh, and also, if you’re reading this Club Penguin team, please come! It’d also be great to have some moderation from those pesky bots.
I can’t wait to see you there! We’re going to play loads of games…and I might just throw in a few more prizes. Thank you!
Waddle on,

Community Appreciation – Day #7: Pingping4069
Hey everyone,
Welcome to the seventh day of Community Appreciation Month! It’s hard to believe that a week has gone by and in three more weeks, this series will be over. Good news, I intend to do something special at the end of this month! Anyway, today I have chosen a really friendly and creative person! It’s Pingping4069!

Pingping4069 is a really nice and kind person! Having started in 2011, Pingping4069 has had a huge impact on the community. Whilst her blog, Pingping in CP, is as old as this site, I think that her main talent is with art. She is definitely a great artist! Take a look at some of the stuff she’s drawn.

Her art is absolutely amazing! Some of you may think that there are better artists in this community (there aren’t that many – let’s be serious) and they should have been selected instead. Well, the reason I do this is to feature people who have been friendly to me – present or past. Whilst there are more artists to be featured, Ping is extremely friendly and her talent is a bonus!
From creative drawings to creative writing, I highly suggest checking out some of her work as it is extremely high-quality! Ping is a really amazing person in this community.

Community Appreciation – Day #6: Somsubhra1
Hey everyone,
Welcome to the sixth day of Community Appreciation Month! This series has been going on for quite a bit now, six days in fact, so I’m sure you know what’s happening. If not, click here! For today, I have chosen someone who you’ve probably heard of if you’ve been in the community for a while as he was the co-owner of Radish CP Cheats. It’s Somsubhra1!

Somsubhra1 is a very kind and helpful person. He helped me to create GamesBot on the Club Penguin Mountains chat! Trust me, this took a lot of time to develop and it definitely would not exist without the aid of Som! Although Radish CP Cheats/Guides no longer exists, Somsubhra1 used to blog there and was the co-owner of that website. I really enjoyed reading that blog! Blogging for it however…I got fired for no valid reason…
Over the past few years, Somsubhra1 has been a great and helpful friend. From intense battles of UNO to just chatting…

Community Appreciation – Day #5: Valbusa1
Hey everyone,
Welcome to the fifth day of Community Appreciation Month! For today, I have selected a really nice penguin who was also once an author of this website many years ago. You might remember him for some of the Card Jitsu graphics which he created. If you’re interested, you can view his posts (mainly graphics) by clicking here. If you know him as Tittto147, Letrock or Graphicboycp, then you’ve been in this community for a while but now he is known as Valbusa1!

He is really a great person! We’ve spent countless hours working on Club Penguin projects together, some of which never got launched (and never will get launched), some of which you are reading right now. Where this site would be without him? Probably still here as he was mainly an author and a graphics designer, but not as good. I’m not going to lie though. We had rough times, especially as I found him slightly annoying back then. I banned him from the chat many times. Despite all of this, we are good friends now. Unfortunately, Valbusa1 is nowhere near as active as Tittto147 however he still occasionally comes on.
One of the main things that I said he was good in was graphic designing and it’s true! Whilst the graphic I am about to show you might not be the best you’ve ever seen, you need to bear in mind this was 2014. Seriously, I was terrible at blogging then but we’ve all improved. Graphics is no different. Now Valbusa1 continues to make amazing graphics! In fact, he even says that a few of his favourite things are blogging and graphic designing!

Whilst Valbusa1 no longer works here (I can’t remember if he left or if the site closed down because when that happened, everyone was removed from the team), he still blogs at a website called The CP Glitch along with three other penguins, which you can read by clicking here. Tittto147, my enemy, my friend. Valbusa1, my friend.

Community Appreciation – Day #4: C0mputerguy
Hey everyone,
Welcome to the fourth day of my Community Appreciation series. In case you don’t know, I have been selecting some penguins in the community who are really special. For today, I am selecting someone who has been in the community for several years now and even blogged for Club Penguin Mountains (or Club Penguin Torres 126 at the time) a while. It’s C0mputerguy!

C0mputerguy is a really friendly person in this community! Along with that, he has been a successful blogger and YouTuber. I still remember when I first spoke to him on the Penguin Lodge chat. This was around three years ago. Good times! 🙂
At this moment in time, he creates several memes on a Twitter account (@CPOfficialMemes) which you can view by clicking here.
So, let’s start with his successes. C0mputerguy was one of the best bloggers for this website, winning multiple “Best Author” contests and therefore winning a lot of codes from me. He won countless of these terrible-looking certificates. Without him, this website almost certainly would not be what it is today, so thank you.

Not only is he an amazing blogger, but he also has a YouTube channel which recently exceeded seven thousand views! Unfortunately, he hasn’t created a video in over two years. This is his most recent video, though he has made better videos in my opinion! If you wish, you can subscribe to him by clicking here.
But C0mputerguy isn’t just a brilliant blogger and a video maker. He’s also a really motivational person.
“Be the positive, think the positive, and do the positive.” -C0mputerguy
C0mputerguy is really an amazing person in this community and in my opinion, he definitely deserves to be appreciated.

Discussion: Tackling Bots & How to Make Them
If you’ve been on Club Penguin recently, chances are that you’ve seen hundreds of bots and clones on our island. In this discussion, we’re going to investigate

Created by @CPOfficialMemes how to create these bots and how Club Penguin can stop these bots. You’ve probably been told that you should just report them to the team, but with thousands of them, how can they get them all? I think it’s possible, but they need to do more than just listen to what the community says.
From Googling, looking at Club Penguin’s history, analysing the information and a whole lot more, it’s time to share my findings.

Community Appreciation – Day #3: Rosytilly
Hey everyone,
Welcome to the third day of my community appreciation series! For today I have chosen a very special penguin who you probably have heard of or spoken to as she is very active throughout the Club Penguin community and has exceeded 250 thousand igloo likes, despite the fact she only joined in May 2010, which is a massive job! Still don’t get it? She’s Australian! Okay, now you probably have got it. It’s Rosytilly!
Update: Chilly573 has pointed out that the igloo liking system was created in 2012. My bad!
Rosytilly is also a really kind person who constantly gives encouragement to others and talks to other people in the community. She is one of the many friendly people in this large community which is why I have chosen her to be in this post, along for her creativity!
In fact, even Daffodaily5 agrees with me as she earnt the amazing award of being Penguin of the Week in July 2014. Although that sounds like a long time ago, probably because it is a pretty long time ago, Rosy is still active throughout the community today and you will almost certainly spot her at a community event.

Although there is so much more I could probably write now, I am struggling to think of some! I’ll probably remember after this post is published though. Oh well.

Community Appreciation – Day #2: Trainman1405
Hey everyone,
Welcome to this month’s series, community appreciation. In case you missed it, yesterday there was a poll for the best blog which you can participate in by clicking here. Today the series of posts really begins because I am going to be featuring certain penguins. For today, I have chosen Trainman1405.

Okay, seriously, who does not know Trainman1405? He is the owner of Club Penguin Memories and has been blogging for over eight years. His website has become hugely successful, with it being the two millionth most viewed website in the world, and is undoubtably one of the most well-known blogs in the community, particularly for older players. Trainman1405 has rarely missed a single update, blog post or piece of information about Club Penguin in living memory. Years ago, I asked him what inspired him to continue. He answered saying that he wants to share the knowledge of the game’s past. In fact, he originally started his blog to share pictures on Club Penguin.
Unlike many popular bloggers, Trainman1405 always interacts with his audience. When I first actually joined the community all the way back in 2013, guess who was the first person to talk to me and welcome me? Yep, it was Trainman1405. To this day, he continues to actively play a role in Club Penguin, despite the fact he recently celebrated his 21st birthday. It just goes to show that this community is for all ages! I still remember the time when I got a postcard from him on Club Penguin and I was so happy!
Unfortunately, Trainman1405 hasn’t had the easiest time. He suffers from an illness which makes him constantly tired. This means that he is home-schooled. In the past, he’s made many posts about his real life which you can read by clicking here. Despite facing depressing thoughts and feeling lonely, he has always been thankful for Club Penguin. I remember reading this post YEARS (don’t ask why I remember such stuff) ago and it was very sad to do so. Trainman has had a tough life but is an amazing person.
As of now, Trainman1405 continues to blog about Club Penguin but is considering stopping at the end of this year, or perhaps earlier. Whilst all good things come to an end, this will be a sad day for the community indeed.

My Letter From Club Penguin!
Hey everyone,
Less than a month ago, I made a post about my letter which I sent to the Club Penguin office, which you may remember me including a DVD in. Much to my surprise, I received my letter today! I thought it would take months to get a response, but it took less than two weeks! Today I’m going to share my response from Wolfyjumps, the moderator who replied to me.
Here’s the back of the envelope.

Inside the envelope was a card which looks really awesome!

Here is the back of the card.

And of course, the most important thing, the actual letter inside the card.

This might be a little hard to read so I am going to type it out for you! Here is the reply I received.
Torres 126,
It was awesome to hear from you, especially since you included so many cool things with your letter.
The DVD was really neat!! We have a mini theatre here in the office and a bunch of us watched the shorts. The stories were really well done and it was great to see you pulling the community together to do the DVD.
It was also really cool to know about your site. Polo and the team spend a lot of time reading community sites like that, so it’s cool to see it myself.
I’ll aslo [spelling Wolfy, spelling!] be sure to pass along your suggestions to the team. I can’t guarantee that we’ll be able to include them, but flippers crossed just in case!
As for the app, we can’t actually give permission to players to use Club Penguin property for personal use. If you have any other questions regarding this, then please email us at Club Penguin support!
Also, I know Card-Jitsu cards are pretty rare so I included the pack along with this letter. Thanks for sharing it with us! 🙂
Waddle on!
– Wolfyjumps
It’s amazing that Club Penguin watched the DVD (thank you guys so much for sending in your videos!) and they read a whole bunch of text. I’m really grateful to Wolfyjumps for replying back to me, so if you’re reading this now, thank you Wolfyjumps! The card now has a special place in my bedroom!
I would highly recommend posting a letter to Club Penguin. I got my reply in less than a fortnight and writing the letter was totally worth it!
Waddle on!

Code Contest #6: Blog Polling
*This post is a sticky post! Please scroll down for more recent posts. Thank you!*
Hey everyone,
Yesterday I announced that I would dedicate this month to the community. As such, I found it suiting to make a contest related to the community and so I decided to do some voting for your favourite Club Penguin blog! Treasure Book codes or Card Jitsu codes are on grabs for the winner. Except, this contest has a twist.
